9,500 stones Permit Information OverviewSerpen'teer runs a Brothel and Bar from the lower levels of his home, reserving only the top, third storey for his own living quarters.
>The ground floor is devoted to the bar, kitchen and the housing areas of some of the slaves, away from the prying eyes of new patrons.
>The first floor's east wing is the Breeding Stock rooms, five in all. The first floor's west wing is devoted to the Bedding Stock rooms, again, five in all.
>The second floor holds the Hired Rooms, three types, with the east wing housing the Little Serpent and Python Rooms, the West holding the large Cobra Room.
Each floor of the Brothel is accessed through the Grand Stairwell, and this is closely guarded by a Bouncer, who in turn will take you to your assigned room. All rooms are locked when not in use, and after an allocated time with the Breeding and Bedding stock, the Bouncer will come and seek you to escort you back to the Bar floor.RequirementsTo gain the benefits of the Brothel you must complete a RP with a minimum of 5 posts where you describe how you enter the Brothel, pick out and pay for your services, a brief overview of what you do (keep it PG-13 - gloss over any carnal acts you may decide your Hound will participate in), and your reflections as you leave. Serpen'teer and occasionally one of the slaves will be your RP partner.
All RP for business needs to be done in this thread, so if there is someone already RPing, wait until their 'Stat Roll' to initiate your own use of the services. This is not the case, however, with Room Hire. Though you must post in here to say you want to hire the room, the actual party should not be conducted in this thread, but in a separate one that has you tally up the price at the end (I will double check this). You roll for the stat in this thread, when you order the room, and only then. You cannot roll twice, once in here ordering the room, and then once when you post the tally of the party.BenefitsDepending on the service chosen you may roll up to 1-20 to add to your Dominance (see post below for specifics). You may, if you have hired the room, either use the slaves you've hired in the Party RP, either as silent NPCs or have them be played by their owners, depending on what you work out with the player of the cat in question (see the slaves' individual posts for their preferences). This second RP is not optional when hiring out a Room; you may simply do the minimum in shop RP and roll only if you are using the Brothel Slaves or just the Bar for company.

Serpen'teer : Proprietor of the 'Temple Of Sins' Current Stats Strength 10% Agility 16% Dominance 14% Charisma 10% Luck 6% Power 20% PersonalitySerpen'teer is a Hound with a chip on his shoulder, and he's going to flaunt it! He knows he's good looking, he knows the ladies want him, but he'll deny them, just for kicks. He doesn't need no one, as he made it for himself, and that's all he'll ever say on that matter, other then possibly 'ladies are only good for bedding'! Despite his cruel words, Serpen'teer knows the value of a good looking slave, and a good looking female, and will treat them well, despite his sharp-edged tongue and bragging.
Serp' is not a beast to cross lightly. He is a determined Hound, and means to get to the top, despite his less then honest business. Being brought up in the roughest district of Zanzibar, by less then successful parents, Serpen'teer always knew he was not going to be as bad as that, and would be as successful as he could, disowning his family past, and making a name for himself, by himself. He needed no family title to get to his placement in life thus far, and he'll be damned if he allows it to hold him back either!
A womaniser and a flirt, Serpen'teer is as cruel with the female species as he is with his slaves. As far as his mind sits, the female of the species hardly deserve their chance at success. They are for the home, or for the bed, and that is as much faith he'd put in females. Some say it may be due to his preference for the male of the species, but any insinuation of that sort to his face may will earn you a scar or two for your trouble. Suffice to say, Serpen'teer knows how to handle himself in a fight.HistorySerpen'teer's past is chequered with pain, hate and disowning. From a young age, Serp' was forced to go without bare necessities for survival, and resorted to petty thievery just to get enough to eat. As a young Hound, he was often left alone to fend for himself, and became a resourceful Hound, and soon began to figure out how to squeeze every ounce of stone from his adversaries, whether it was through gambling or working part time in his parent's establishment, a dingy, pathetic little bar with few prospects and fewer patrons. He developed a persuasive nature, and is suave by his very being. His life of crime early on made him very aware of all that could be slighted against him, and thus, makes him a dangerous adversary indeed!
It was in his early days that he lost his eye, playing a card game against a Hound renowned for his trickery. Losing greatly to the Hound, the young Serp' found himself in serious debt with the older Hound, and when unable to pay, lost his eye to the brute. An eye for some stones didn't exactly seem fair to the young male, but this was Zanzibar, and he had been foolish. The encounter shook the male to his roots, and led to his disowning of his parents when they refused to help his get his own back. The young Hound was left to seethe over his defeat and mockery, and eventually, upon reaching his adult years, left Zanzibar, vowing never to return, unless for business, and to lord it over his parents in his success.
Coming into adulthood, Serpen'teer knew where the money was in this world. Desires of the heart were always something the rich and infamous would pay richly to have sated, whether it be 'the bedding', or else other favours that they preferred kept secret, from certain 'role-play' to other forms of entertainment that could be provided by slaves and other, willing Hounds alike. When coupled with a few stiff drinks, Serpen'teer had the buildings of a fine brothel, and he wasn't afraid to flaunt his spectacular 'wares' on the street outside his little business. Some would call him a pimp, but Serpen'teer will merely shrug and smile his slow, disarming smile, that one cold grey-blue eye knowing well you'll have a secret to confess in his Temple of Sin soon enough.

Slave Set 1 : The Home SlavesSome slaves are only good for the menial tasks of the home, and here at Temple Of Sin, there is plenty of homely jobs to go round! Serpen'teer's personal quarters are quite lavish for a Hound, and it may seem like he is quite possessive over his things, and apparently, a bit of a hoarder. Regardless, it will be these kitties' jobs to keep the home-areas and grounds of the Brothel in good condition; dusting, sweeping, grounds work, cooking and keeping things in order are just some of the tasks that will be assigned to these slaves.
Serpen'teer will always keep one slave by his side, a personal assistant type slave, that will be in charge on keeping tabs of his expenses, working out budgets for the coming seasons, and generally being a little side-kick to this power-trip of a Hound! The personal assistant will be giving the privilege of lessons in reading and writing by Serpen'teer, to better their understanding of their tasks.IC Rules & Regulations > House Slaves will sleep within a small section of the house that will have a selection of mattresses for them, but will be served food within the kitchen, which the House Cook will be in charge of preparing from the Slave supplies, NOT the Master Supplies.
> Punishments for House Slaves vary greatly to those he uses in his Brothel proper. House Slaves are treated harsher, but physical punishments will only be light beatings - Serpen'teer does not believe in the use of the whip or any other implement of torture. His paws will deal enough damage, he believes.
> House Slaves are granted one hour's freedom everyday after Supper. They are expected, if they leave the premises, to be back well before Nightfall. Slaves not back in good time will be severely reprimanded for taking advantage of Serpen'teer's kindness, and may have Free Time revoked for ALL slaves for a season.

Slave Set 2 : The Bar-Working SlavesSome slaves are skilled at getting things put back to rights, and have a good eye for what needs to be set straight. Luckily, there are plenty of these jobs for the sharper slave in the Brothel! Serpen'teer's brothel, Temple Of Sin, plays host to some pretty interesting rendezvous, from Hounds of all walks of life. In order to remain a highly respected establishment, and not get the authorities nosing their way in here, there is particular need for slaves with keen eyes and the ability to notice when things aren't quite right. Their tasks are simple, either clean the rooms hired out to Hounds after they are finished, or serve at the bar end of the Brothel, making sure that no Hound goes away feeling hard done by!IC Rules & Regulations > Brothel-Working Slaves will sleep within a small section of the brothel that will have a selection of mattresses for them, but will be served food within the house kitchen, which the House Cook will be in charge of preparing from the Slave supplies, NOT the Master Supplies.

Males and females alike, these slaves are those that are used for creating little kitties! Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky? Serpen'teer's most prized slaves, the 'Breeders' are kitties he believes have some special quality that is worth selling their booty for stones. Cats here should be pleased, because they get a lot of free reign in terms of what they get to do, but they are also expected to mate with numerous partners and in the case of females, produce good, strong offspring that will bring in a tidy profit once the Master's of the other breeder come to collect their prize.IC Rules & Regulations > Breeder Slaves will sleep within a small section of the brothel that will also serve as their 'boudoirs'; spacious, quite luxurious quarters for slaves to be granted, but this seems passable, when you consider their purpose. As with the others, these slaves will be served food within the house kitchen, which the House Cook will be in charge of preparing from the Slave supplies, NOT the Master Supplies.
> Punishments for Breeder Slaves vary immensely to those he uses in his other slaves. Breeder Slaves are NEVER beaten, as they are needed in perfect condition to bring in the stones, but they are, however, subject to isolation punishments, as well as being demoted to mere 'Bedding' stock, which is possibly a worse punishment to the beatings.
> Breeder Slaves are granted three hour's freedom everyday after Midday Meal. Hiring Function Rooms - For The Hound About Town!Like your business kept secret, or perhaps you just like the décor, and want to show off to your friends that you can afford to hire such a place? Well, be my guest! In the Temple Of Sin, all the Function Rooms are a specific price for each night that you use it. To hire a room, just post as if you are coming in to use the business, hire the room with Serpen'teer, and then leave. You do not play out the RP where you have hired the room here; that must be done in the main Forum of the Guild, but remember to link back here, so I can log that you've had the party and thus can reopen the room for hiring. ICly, the party will likely last only an evening, but OOCly, it may last more then a week, and I would prefer not to reopen the room until your character has finished with it.

A small room that can fit, at most 5 Hounds comfortably, though most who would use this room are likely to only want the two, if you get my drift?
This room is the base room. It has a cot, a seating area and a small hearth that can be ignited to give an inviting glow. The door sign is decorated with a little saw-scale snake. It is not large, but it has enough space to furnish relatively well. Many of the decoration involves snakes, a recurring theme in the estate of Serpen'teer, but much of the décor of this room revolves around wooden carvings, with some curtain cover.
This room can be used for any purpose.

> Food and drink come as extra; tally up upon completion of party RP.

A lavish room with more space and a beautiful set up for social drinking. This room can hold about 10 Hounds at any one time. Those with a bit of an... appetite, may well see to all of his guests, know what I'm saying?
An upgrade to the last room, the Rattlesnake Room is lavish and cozy, also featuring a hearth, a cot, an extravagant lounge area for Hounds to cozy up and enjoy the company of booze and females... or males, if that be their pleasure. This area has plenty of room for... elaborate set ups concerning Hound pleasure, and can be set up prior to their arrival after a few words with the proprietor. As with the last, snakes seem to be a recurring décor for the place, but unlike the last, wooden carvings are less, and some bronze and copper sculptings are now present, as well as fine drapery.
This room can be used for any purpose.

Lavish, luxurious, fur-lined and inviting, this room is for the big-spender with a lot to prove! The envy of all their friends, the Hound that hires out this room will find features including a massive hearth, a large lounge area, a dining area, a multitude of furs and finery. Silver and gold decorate the snake themed décor of this room, and with a large open window out to a stunning view of the sea port, this really is a room to marvel at!

I understand that technically, ICly, your cat wouldn't have much of a choice, but given the type of business that Serpen'teer runs, I would like, initially, to see where you would be most happiest.
If you take a look at the House Thread linked above, you will be able to see which of the jobs available are unclaimed by any other slave. Be aware, you will not be choosing the 'worth' of your cat, if you decide to place them in one of the 'Services' areas, but you will get the choice of the task.
