Alright Guild Members,
I have a friend (not mentioning names) who has a major problem. She recently brought herself a tarot deck, and since then her, her boyfriend, and her family have seen or sense something evil. When she described the creature I knew it wasn't fae. Her tarot deck was a faery tarot. Anyways I told her I would take the deck from her and see if I could sense any evil coming from it. I didn't sense anything of that sort.
When she described the creature her family sensed and saw it was hunched over upon two back hind legs. It looked hairless for the most part except it had a streak of dark black hair running down its head to its spine. It also had glowing red eyes and really sharp teeth. This to me sounded demonic. She also described a smell of rotten fish coming from a room in their household. She told me that they never had fish or anything like that. That sounded really weird to me. She also said her family got a really uneasy feeling around the area of the smell. This to me sounded like a demonic portal. She also said her step-father did sort of an excorsism. I told her that might have worked, but she should still be careful.
Anyways my problem is that sense I got her deck...I have been waking up from weird nightmares...having uneasy feelings, and I am finding weird cuts and markings on my body. Everynight I do a protection spell, but I don't it is working. So I really need ideas and help on this please!

My advice, simply put, is: get rid of the deck.
I don't know much about the creature that seems attracted to it, but obviously it is attached to the deck, and your friend, since she was the one who purchased it. And it seems to be striking out at you for taking the deck from her.
I know the decks can be expensive, but if you can't find another way to rid yourselves of the creature, I'd recommend burning it.
I've had decks that I wasn't meant to have taken from me, but never heard of anything quite like this. sweatdrop

First of all DO NOT BURN THE DECK!!!! I can't stress that enough, it could possibly piss the creature off. It could have been something piggybacking off the deck and not the deck that is the problem. as for the dreams, you could try making a dream pillow and fill it up with a really good protection charm and dream charm. Get some things like baily and rosemary for protection and put them into the pillow. I have a really good protection chant that makes me feel safe. If you are comfortable doing spell work you could also charge stones with a protective chant and put them at each corner of your bedroom and at each corner of you window sill and then take some incense or sage and burn it through your room to cleanse it of anything negative (it may keep the thing out and get it out if it's already in) If you don't like sage there are many different kinds of incense that you can use for protection. coconut- for protection and purification Frankincense - Draw upon the energy of the sun to create sacred space, consecrate objects, and stimulate positive vibrations Myrrh - An ancient incense for protection, healing, purification and spirituality Passionflower - For peace of mind, this sweet scent will soothe troubles and aid in sleep Sandalwood - A delicious all purpose scent used to heal and protect, also for purification Cedar: Burned for purification, to stimulate or strengthen the psychic powers, attract love, prevent nightmares. Cinnamon: Burned for protection and to attract money, stimulate and strengthen the psychic powers and to aid in healing. Basil: Burned to exorcise and protect against evil entities and to attract fidelity, love, good luck, sympathy, and
wealth. Dragon's Blood: Burned to dispel negativity, exorcise evil supernatural entities, attract love, enhance psychic
awareness, and restore male potency. Makes all other incenses stronger when added at the same time. As for your friend. If this thing is really a demon portal you can try the same things that I suggested for yourself. You can also take salt around the entire house to add a barrier of a sort. to close portals I'm not sure an exorcism would work. Maybe try closing it as you would a circle when doing one. The portal needs to be closed you could always write a little something basically saying "this portal is closed, nothing will come between the worlds, nothing can harm any within this house, this portal has been closed off and cannot be open again. As it is said so mote it be." Type thing. Remember even demons have to follow a certain degree of rules. If you tell it to leave with enough force it will leave. A dream catcher might help. You should research how to use those exactly though as I don't know really.
Also maybe preform a purification ritual on the deck. Bad spirits and other such things can bond themselves to pretty much any item. There are rituals that can drive such spirits off. I'd recommend either talking to an expert about this if you can find one.

This definatly does sound demonic. Unfortunatly, I don't kow how to get rid of it besides a few basic things, like rubbing salt on the base boards to ward off spirits, though I'm not sure it will work with a demon, or whatever that thing is.
I've honestly never dealt with something this bad. I mean, I've had my fair share of evil spirits, but a demon?
I agree with Fareru though. Don't burn it, whatever you do. It might not work, and could infinatly open a portal for whatever the hell whats to go through it. It's the same thing with an ouija board. Not to mention that anything trapped on this side will never go away, and will haunt you forever.
My best advice would be to return the deck to your friend, seeing as it doesn't look like you should have taken it, and whatever is attached to the deck will only harm you more severely the longer you have it. The quicker it gets back there, the better. It will be easier to handle if there isn't something out to kill you.

It does seem odd to me though, that you wold be getting attacked in your sleep if it's not the deck it's after. Did you do anything to help them rid themselves of the creature?

Yes I did do something for that deck. I also better connected with my own deck so that knew what was up as well. Do you think me doing a white sage purification spell over the deck might help as well?!

Last night, however, I sat down with my own tarot deck, and used my faery pendelum to talk with them. I have two cards from my faery deck who are considered my guardian and connector cards. Last night when I asked them a question about something evil being in my room, they swung my pendelum up and down without me moving it which indicated yes. I was a little freaked out by that, but when I asked them if they would help protect and guard me they also swung the pendelum up and down indicating a yes. I think this means I have a strong connection with my own tarot deck, and they are telling me that I should probably take caution to whatever this creature is. I shall buy some of the incense you mentioned above to see if that will help. I will however still my own protection spell/chant because it makes me feel comfortable. If I go over to my friends house sometime soon, I will help her close that portal. Thanks.

Maybe pick of some sandalwood incense, I believe they are on the list. Not only are they great for protection and cleansing but it is said that the faerie realm smells of jasmine and sandalwood in certain areas so maybe it would also help to tie in your tarot deck.
