As the topic title suggest, what was your first console? How old were you when you first got it? What was the first game you got for it?
My very first console was the SNES. It was not the cool tank looking original. It was more like the slim version of it with round buttons. Here's a picture of what mine looked like. Got it when I was around 6 years old. Very first game I got was Kirby Super Stars.

The Atari 400! Not even the most popular version of the Atari. My parents bought it for themselves originally, and bought some learning games when my brother came along. My brother and I played it more than them, though (and my mom killed any interest in video games by playing it while pregnant with me, so she associates any games with morning sickness 'n such). My younger years were spent with the likes of Joust, Frogger, Pac-Man, Breakout, Miner 2049er, and Donkey Kong.

My first console was a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). I remember getting it for Christmas, even though the SNES was coming out. But I got that much later. 3nodding

The Dreamcast, up and until before then I was a PC only guy, but it showed me that consoles can be awesome in awesome ways.

I began playing games on our Apple II Classic and the other Apple computer we got after that (Macintosh Performa?), but the first console I got was a Nintendo 64. I couldn't convince my parents to get me any video game stuff before that, and I was always jealous of my friends with their Geneses and SNESes. Don't think I had any friends who had a NES.

I played on both the NES and Sega Genesis as a little kid. I don't remember which one I played first, though.
