In spite of having devoted herself to her goal not all that long ago, Liuba had a code of conduct in mind for how she should be helping heal others. One rule that she had for herself was to never underestimate the extent of injuries, to never assume that just because her ward appears fine that there is nothing she could have missed. As such, the unicorn had it in mind to keep an eye on those she helped for a time to make sure that they were indeed to a point that they no longer needed her care. Rule number two was for her not to linger longer than she was needed and the time she required to make sure that there wasn't a hidden injury she might have overlooked. There was always someone who could use someone to tend to their physical pain and injuries. And three, she couldn't turn away someone who was genuinely in need, even if it meant risking her own safety. Her most recent find was a lone stallion that she had come across during her wanderings and whom had apparently been on the receiving end of a random act of violence from a kalona in a particularly "playful" mood. The attack was brief but serious. Liuba had done her thing and had left Bodhi to rest, keeping nearby should he wake up. After a time and a brief check in, Liuba had slipped off to find something to drink to quench her thirst. Upon her return to where Bodhi had been, her ward was gone. This caused her worry. No one had ever simply disappeared on her before. Had his attacker found him and took advantage of him being asleep to attack or even kill him? What if something came up and, in pain, he set out to find her only to get lost somewhere on his own? She absolutely had to find him. Without missing a beat, Liuba set herself to searching high and low for him. Her worry set her pace. "Where are you?!"

Ironforge and Prospector had decided to take on the duties of patrolling the herds boarders today and admittedly Ironforge had allowed them to wander a bit further then was absolutely necessary...but it was a nice day and he was enjoying the time to himself, certainly this little bit of self indulgence couldn't hurt anyone.
Prospector was likewise pleased by the events, the wopletinger never complained about the duties Ironforge and by default himself had to look after but Ironforge knew that he sometimes missed their days of wandering none the less. If he could please his little friend on this jaunt then it would be well worth the extra time it would take for them to finish the patrol.
"I think I see some berries up ahead" He told the little beast who predictably scurried off in search of them without some much as a by your leave - always thinking with his stomach Prospector was and Ironforge left him to his berry hunt , heading towards the water he smelled nearby with the intentions of slacking his thirst.
He had gone only a few paces when the hurried hoofbeats of someone approaching reached his ears. Ironforge lifted his shaggy head and altered his path to investigate forgoing the water for the moment. Of course he hadn't expected to run across a rather frantic looking unicorn though he had to admit it was a much better result then some of the more terrible ones that had crossed his mind. "Miss?" He called out to try and get the mares attention "Begging your pardon Miss but you seem to be in some distress...are you in need of assistance?"

Liuba had to simply inwardly sigh at herself. There wasn't any good in calling out to her ward, seeing as he couldn't hear her cries. It did help alleviate some of the nervous energy that seemed to have found a home deep within her chest. The unicorn was trying to think of all the places Bodhi could have gone in the short time she was away, factoring in the couple of scenarios that she had in mind for what could have happened all the while trying to reason away some of the more worrisome ideas. There was no whiff of the metallic tang of fresh blood in the air or trail of carnage or obvious signs of struggle. Which were good things, even if her mind didn't also touch on the thought that his attacker was more cunning that she imagined. Granted, how much cunning was truly needed to creep up on someone who was unable to hear anything that might have alerted him to their presence?
Occasionally doubling back to double check herself, to make sure there wasn't some hidden place that she might have missed, the mare made an anxious, frustrated noise before stopping to attempt to calm her rattled nerves. Closing her eyes, Liuba took several slow, deep breaths before giving a little huff and opened her eyes. Her ward was but a regular stallion. He had no wings to bear him aloft or shape-shifting abilities to hide his form. Bodhi couldn't have gotten far. She shook her head, determination mixing with her expression of worry. He would be found. Liuba simply had to know if he was alright. If so, her job was done and they both could go about their merry ways. If not, well, then her care would continue until either he was fully on the mend or, even with her healing, he succumbed to the injuries that she might have missed.
Continuing on with her searching, Liuba's attention was snapped into sharp focus when she heard someone call out to her. Glancing around, it only took a few moments for her to find the source. It wasn't Bodhi, but the shaggy white stallion appeared to be willing to help. She sighed and gave a nod at his question. "Yes, you could say so. I'm afraid I've lost someone and I need to know if they're alright. Bodhi had been attacked and I had been tending to his injuries. I helped him settle down to rest and had briefly moved off to quench my thirst, but when I returned to where I had left him, he was gone. My worry is that I might have missed something and he went off to try to find me only to get lost, alone and in pain, or his attacker found him again." Liuba shook herself before looking to the male. "Simply calling for him won't work as he can't hear at all...Any help you could give me would be appreciated. Please..."

The poor mare was quite obviously in a bit of a tizzy over something though as she wasn't calling out Ironforge assumed that perhaps she had lost an object of value, many Soquili he had met had such objects. In any case it was his duty to offer to help though he felt sort of bad for the way her attention snapped toward him, he supposed that she had been so caught up in her search that she had failed to hear him come upon her.
At least it didn't seem as though he had startled her overly much..that or he just didn't look like a dangerous sort of fellow..or she was confident enough in her own abilities that she wasn't worried about him being dangerous. One mustn't forget such possibilities or risk being taken by surprise himself.
Of course her story hardly painted her as a wily mare out tricking victims into her lair, unless she was a very good pretender then she was far to worried about her missing charge to be a danger herself, quite the contrary by the sounds of it she was one of the good guys. This thought let Ironforge relax just a little bit more - running into strangers so close to the herd always put him just a little bit on edge. Until he recalled that her story had also mentioned the words 'attacked' and 'attacker'.
"I know this area quite well" He assured the unicorn "My herd is not far from here and I patrol the area often,I'm sure that we can find your friend. Why don't you take me back to the place you left him? Perhaps we can find a clue as to the direction he took...do you know what attacked him?"

Having openly shared what her problem was seemed to help calm the mare to a degree, at least enough to pause, take a deep breath, and not look like she was on the edge of a nervous breakdown. The fact that the stallion had listened without interruptions and that he appeared willing to help her pleased her. At least with an extra set of eyes looking for her temporary ward and having someone that knew the area to a greater extent than herself, finding Bodhi was far more likely than on her own.
Liuba had a moment of pause, her gaze briefly lingering on his horns. She wasn't unfamiliar with kalonas and their lot usually had some manner of horns. Should she be suspicious? What if this fellow was said previously mentioned attacker? The unicorn hadn't exactly ever taken the time to get to know a pure blooded kalona to get a feel for their personalities. Well, he had mentioned that he was part of a herd. In her recollection, the mare couldn't think of hearing or seeing an official herd of kalonas in the area. For the most part, they didn't really seem the type to band together in great number, but one could never be sure if there was a grand shared goal. Besides, he didn't have one of the tail types commonly seen on on kalonas and, to date, she had yet ever to meet one as furry at the gent before her.
In addition to those facts, his offer seemed genuinely sincere so she put her little worry aside. Shaking her head, she spoke. "Of course. It was just over this way." She turned in the direction where she had originally left Bodhi and pause to assure herself that the male was following her. "He muttered something about a kalona. He didn't get into great detail about what his attacker looked like, just something about playing. He needed his rest after I healed him. He simply looked so tired..." Liuba trailed off, looking back into the direction of where Bodhi had been left to rest.
She continued on, reaching the semi-secluded thicket after a few minutes of walking. The mare turned to the fluffy male. "Here it is. I couldn't have been gone too long. I made a note not to lose track of time." Liuba made a thoughtful humming sound after having fallen quiet. "If I may," She began. "What's your name?"

Ah yes it seemed that merely airing the problem out had helped the mare steady herself somewhat, or at least she seemed a bit less inclined to go charging back into the woods on her search without thinking about it first, it was far to easy for a rescuer to become one in need of rescue in such cases and Ironforge would not have been pleased to see the lady before him fall to such straits due to her worry over a missing ward. The stilling of her body for a few moments had him pausing before he spoke again, he couldn't be sure of course what exactly she was looking at - but he could guess - it wouldn't be the first time his horns had drawn question as to his background.
Thankfully the mare seemed to come to the conclusion that she had nothing to fear from him - and he was grateful for it, his horns were a bit of a touchy subject...useful at times to be sure, but downright irritating when someone decided to cast his lot in with the more unsavory types because of them. But for the moment at least it seemed like that wasn't going to be a problem. Nodding briefly as she turned to the lead the way Ironforge followed along closely, letting his eyes wander over the ground and surrounding brush as they went, though her next statement pulled his attention back to her quickly "A kalona you say?! Around here?" He snorted in disgust, ears pinned as he shook his head "Nasty creatures those...not even one kind thought in the heart of the whole lot of 'em" He spat in vehemence, if there was a Kalona around these parts he'd make sure to ferret the rotten beast out and see it on it's way....after he'd helped the Lady and her wounded friend of course.
"Wounds often do take a good deal out of you" Ironforge acknowledged with a nod of his head as he studied the ground - though it was hard to tell which tracks had been made before the Soquili's disappearance or afterwards as the mare looked for him "Perhaps he woke hungry and thirsty and went in search of some food?" He suggested after coming to the conclusion that it would be nearly impossible to track this Bodhi fellow from the clearing.
"Ah of course, I'm afraid I forgot my manners in light of your distress, I am Ironforge, Beta of the Moon Glade Herd which resides only a few miles to the south" He told her with a small bow of his head. May I ask the Ladies name?" He inquired after straightening once more.

The mare blinked, a little surprise at the male's outburst at learning what had attacked her ward. If there had been any lingering doubt or debate as to his standing in terms of Kalona heritage, her worries were gone. Liuba nodded. "That's what he said. I didn't get a look at his attacker myself, so he might have been able to flee some distance from where the encounter took place." That wasn't to say that the foul beast who had initiated the attack wasn't still in the area, or if it had left completely, having grown bored of its little 'game' that it had been playing with Bodhi. The unicorn simply didn't know. When she came across the wounded stallion, her priorities were clearly laid out before her. Get the injured out of the open, get them healed, and let them rest. Liuba nodded her head in agreement at Ironforge's sentiments. "That could be a distinct possibility." She said, her gaze searching the ground with slightly narrowed eyes. Bodhi was somewhat larger than her, but not quite as large as the fluffy stallion. Having moved around the spot that she had opted to hide Bodhi a good deal before, during, and after her healing the unfortunate stallion. "If he had been fleeing from his attacker, I could certainly imagine him being thirsty, if not hungry as well." The mare found a clear hoof print of her own and placed her hoof on the mark with a thoughtful hum. "He isn't quite as large as you and his hooves aren't cloven like ours are, so once we move into a less trafficked area we ought to be able to spot his tracks a little easier." She said lifting her gaze from scanning the soil. "As far as looks go, Bodhi is predominantly green with clusters of bright yellow patches. In all likelihood, he probably hasn't gotten far. I probably would have noticed him if he had gone to the same water source as I had. Is there another nearby?"She nodded her head to the stallion upon learning his name, rank, etc. At being called a Lady, she blinked and offered a politely smile, dipping in a little bow of her own. "My name is Liuba and I don't belong to any herd at present. I have tasked myself with tending to the hurts that I may find in my travels." Righting herself, she continued. "It's a honor to meet you, Ironforge, and I hope that someday I may return this kindness."

Ironforge rather hoped that the poor wounded beast had traveled a fair distence from the place he'd been attacked before the unicorn had found him - more so for the safety of his herd then for any other reason. He truly did not want any such vicious creature near those he protected. "It would be good if he had, I would worry less if we knew the attacker was no longer around" Ironforge confessed.
And the news of this Bodhi fellow having different sort of hooves was certainly worth looking into - it would definitely help to make them more noticeable and they wouldn't be following trails accidentally made by each other as well. He was still considering her words and mapping out a mental plan for finding the poor wounded stallion when she introduced herself and Ironforge gave her a warm look "Ah the healers path - full of great rewards but sometimes a lonely one" He remarked "But never worry repayment - as your duty is to help the wounded o is it my duty to protect the weak" He told her, the Knights code was one he believed in with all of his heart and he would never dream of bartering with this lovely lady for his help.
But enough of such things - it was time to put the current task back in his mind and glancing about he considered his options "There are two more such watering places, one but a mere pond and the other a stream a little bit farther off - perhaps if like you say we move farther away from this more trafficked area we shall be able to find out which one he headed towards. Walking in an expanding spiral from this central location I think should find us his tracks"
