She was so very glad it was the beginning of the weekend. Very glad. Classes had been crazy this week and she was quite ready for a small break in them. The she-wolf had been planning on hanging out with her best friend, but he hadn't been around. Which was odd. And it struck at something in her, urging LW to go and look for him. Sure he had been in classes (or at least the ones he had with her). But something just seemed...off. Usually, when she saw him like that, it meant one thing. He'd been talking with his parents again.

The first place she looked was obviously his room. But there was no gryphon present. One annoyed lepus yes. But no Ren. This made her frown and she padded towards Alessa's room only to stop halfway. The cinnamon-vanillay, pumpkin spice scent that belonged to him hadn't gone this way today. Her frown deepened and she retraced her steps back towards his room. So. She had to do this the hard way then? Fine!

Once at his door, she lifted her nose to the air and inhaled deeply, eyes slanting. He'd been there not too long ago. Tail swishing back and forth in the playful hunting dog sort of way, LW started following that all too familiar (and delicious, if she had to be honest!) scent.

She was probably a site to see too. The she-wolf was not exactly...dressed in her usual clothes. And no Jack damned dress either. No. It was worse, but she preferred IT over the dress. A joking gift sent by her brothers for her to dance around in. The top was a halter top that plunged lower than she was usually comfortable with, in purple and silver with lacing in the front and back. The bottoms were cheeky little booty shorts in the same metallic silver. Purple laces went up the sides of these. Now her feet...she'd compromised just a little. LW did not like shoes and so hadn't bothered to put the boots on with the outfit. But the fuzzy leg warmers that went up to just below her knee were pulled on. They were dark purple in color.

Yep. She probably was gaining several weird stares, but hey! LW didn't care. She was going to cheer up her bestie. Forget what the others thought of the rather cute she-wolf lurking the halls until she exited the dorms to step outside. Ah, he was out here somewhere. Close by actually. The roof maybe? No. The scent wasn't high enough to indicate he had flown.

She glared at nothing in particular and folded her arms for a minute. Going over her mental checklist of places, one place remained. And that was over at the demon dorms. But, no WAIT! There was another place. Sly grin forming, she shifted and took off on four feet towards the edge of the school grounds. The closer she got, the stronger that pumpkin spice and cinnamon-vanilla scent got. Oh he was so dead for hiding out here. Slowing to a silent prowl of a walk, the she-wolf spotted a rather...odd lump of fur. And feathers. Stopping all together, she shifted forms and crouched down, just staring. Was that his other form? It was beautiful. And he looked like one overly large...

"KITTY!" LW shouted and pounced, throwing her arms around his neck and locking her hands juuuuust in case he freaked out just a little. "Such a fluffy kitty." She teased while she could.

The first thing that had happened when Ren had woken up that morning was receive an angry phone call from his mother demanding that he come home that weekend. It had been week since he had seen her; Amantine had decided, after the somewhat different letter he had written home, to pay her son a surprise visit. Needless to say, it had not gone well in the slightest, starting off with Amantine telling him to come home and ending with her slapping him in the face before she had whisked off in anger. Ren had left his room, intent on going to the roof, but had run into Gabrian before he could do anything. Despite his protests and his vehement claiming he was fine, the nix had dragged him into his room, where they had spent the rest of the day just...talking. It had been surprisingly cathartic, and for the rest of the week, Ren had been all right.

Until this particular morning, however. Awakened by the voice of his irritated mother, Ren had spent several hours arguing with her before realizing that it was useless; if he was going to get her off of his back, there was really only one thing to do - go home and convince her face to face that he was not leaving Amityville High.

He took his time, however, in leaving. Not wanting to worry any of his friends, he had not told any of them of his plans, except for Alessa. He had gone to see her, and then decided to take care of his garden before leaving, making his way across the school campus to the little plot just beside the school. After making sure that everything was in place, Ren had shifted into his gryphon form, curling up to take a small nap before leaving.

His nap was somewhat interrupted by a pair of slender arms being flung around his neck. Massive jaws snapped in surprise, and he let out a small roar, his back rippling, his enormous wings flapping.

"LW?" came the vaguely confused voice and Ren shifted again, back to human. This wasn't the best idea, really, because it caused both of them to tumble to the ground. Ren abruptly found himself lying on his back and looking up at LW...who was dressed...somewhat oddly.

"Er," he said, hands on her waist as he pushed her a bit off of him. "LW. What, ah...are you doing here..? And what are you wearing?"

Her dear cat-bird freaked out. Just a little. As she thought he would. The snapping of jaws much more impressive than hers, small roar combined with flapping wings had the she-wolf reacting in the opposite way a normal individual would. She was positively rolling with laughter at him. It was rare indeed that she was able to sneak up on her best friend, let alone any of her friends. she would cherish this in that secret part of her mind.

"Yesss, kitten. Tis I." She crooned teasingly at his confused question of her name which was completely ruined with a squeak right after. He'd shifted back and, well, they weren't exactly balanced for that. A tumble or two later and she was staring down at Ren, eyes full of mirth.

Her tail was swishing like a cat's did when they were having fun. She felt his hands push her off a bit and LW went to roll and stand, but paused at his questions for a second. Violet eyes blinked down at the gryphon in a typical cute manner. "I was worried, so I went looking for you." She said honestly and jumped to her feet, looking like the deviant she was again. The she-wolf grinned at him and posed for him, tail unable to sit still for very long. "Oooooh, nothing~" LW switched into a new pose, winking at her best friend before standing with her arms clasped behind her back.

She regarded him with an almost unreadable look. The worry she had mentioned was still there. It had to have been his parents again. Which meant she wasn't going to even bring them up if she could help it. So, safe topic. A sheepish grin spread over her features. "That was the first time I've seen you in gryphon form. It's quite handsome." A pause for a beat. "But you're still just one overly large kitten!" LW teased.
PostPosted: Tue Feb 15, 2011 10:19 am

What LW was wearing was - interesting, to say the least. For a few seconds Ren just stared up at her, trying to figure out if he was hallucinating or not. It did not seem like typical LW wear - but, then again, the shewolf had a way of surprising him when he least expected it. The outfit was...small. And tight. And, er...slightly more than a little revealing. Ren blinked.

"You look, ah..." he said, momentarily lost for words. "Well, you look different." He paused, then smirked. "Kinda sexy. You trying to impress that boilfriend of yours again with your exotic dancing?"

Pushing himself to his feet, Ren straightened out his shirt, brushing the dirt and grass from his pants. There was a streak on the knee of his jeans that refused to come off, but he didn't particularly feel like going to change, not when he was getting ready to leave anyway.

"I don't change into my gryphon form all that often," he pointed out, sticking his hands in his pockets. "Only when necessary. Or when I feel the need to both nap and protect my precious garden from the prying eyes of little wolves such as yourself."

Reaching out, Ren teasingly poked her nose, then reached up, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand. He needed to get going soon, but how exactly he was supposed to do that without telling LW where he was going was going to be difficult. He had not wanted his friends to worry; hence the whole leaving without telling them bit. Besides, LW, Gabe, and Alessa all had a habit of making him say more than he wanted to say when it came to his parents. He did not like people feeling for him, least of all those three.

"I am not a large kitten," Ren said with a laugh, tail flicking behind him as he glanced once at his garden then back to LW. "But, ah...I do...have a place I'm supposed to be soon, so...so...yeah."

It was a lame reply, and she would most likely see straight through his pathetic attempt at diverting her, but it was at least worth a shot.

"Kinda sexy?" Her cheeks tinted a little red, but her eyes were still quite amused. "Oh I have yet to...show Gabe those skills yet." The she-wolf waved that off and tilted her head in a canine fashion. "Maybe I'll make you practice with me." She'd do it too. And probably embarrass the hell out of her best friend in the process.

Crossing her arms, she watched him brush off the dirt and grass that had gotten on him. His response about his gryphon form got her curiosity spiking. Why didn't he like shifting forms that often? She loved both her forms. And she'd thought that most shifters did. But, Ren didn't seem to. Or he did and didn't want to admit it because it had something to do with his parents. LW leaned more towards that answer. She didn't ask though and nipped at his finger when he poked her nose.

"And I'm a big scary werewolf." She rolled her eyes and gave him a look. "You so are too one giant kitten!" His laugh made her happy and she gave him one of her usual smiles. This didn't last long and slowly faded, leaving one unusually quiet she-wolf standing there. Sure, she understood having somewhere you needed to go, previous engagements to attend to. But this? This one poked at that 'in need of a friend but won't admit it button.

He doesn't want anyone to know where or why. Yet...he was always like this when his parents were involved. Something that all three of them got him for. They were his friends. It was what they were there for. They just...had to remind him of this. Frequently.

In a rare show of attitude, as she normally never pushed, LW's eyes narrowed slightly and even her tail stopped moving. She met those golden eyes and held them. "Ren...what's wrong?" Her voice was soft, a sign that she really didn't want to push, but was very worried. Sucked having close friends that cared sometimes! But hey! That was what best friends were for.
PostPosted: Tue Feb 15, 2011 1:10 pm

"Just a little sexy," Ren said teasingly and leaned forward, pecking the side of her head with a kiss. "And I'll practice with you any time you need me too, darling~" He had missed seeing her around the past few days, having spent most of his time secretly packing and making excuses about homework and classes and Rhys and whatnot. His playful smile faded, however, when LW's expression shifted, and he sighed running a hand through his hair. She knows. Of course she knows. There was no hiding anything from the shewolf, at least not anything that he wanted to actually keep secret. She knew him well enough to know when he was lying or evading the conversation, and despite his admittedly pathetic efforts to hide where he was going and what he was doing, she had still seen straight through him.

"Parents weekend," he said with what he hoped was a casual shrug. "Not that that normally is a good thing, but in this case, they're just whining. I've been fielding phone calls left and right from dearest Mommy and Daddy wanting me to come home. Or rather, demanding, in that oh so kind and loving tone of theirs, that I come back to them immediately."

Reaching out, Ren patted the top of LW's head, tilting his head and giving her a reassuring smile. He wouldn't tell her that he might not be coming back, that his parents were going to make damned sure that he stayed at home instead of returning to that "wretched school." It was not necessary to worry his best friend with something like that. No, if he didn't come back it would still be all right. He would just write her a letter or something, explaining things.

"No worries, little woflove," Ren said lightly, fingers slipping from her hair as he moved around her. "Just paying the parental units a little visit, is all. When I get back we'll play Scario Kart, okay?" He turned so he was walking backwards to face her, casting her a wink. "I'll kick your butt."

Oh really now? He would practice with her any time she needed him? This was definitely something that would be used against him. In the near future. Especially to get him back for how little of him she'd seen the past few days. "I'll hold you to that, kitten." She purred a little for him because damnit, wolves could purr too. Sort of. Only if you really worked to get them to.

The she-wolf knew it. She knew it had been his parents. Again. Like usual. It was always them. Causing Ren problems. She and the others hated seeing him so down after talking with the parental units. Ren was an adorable and sweet guy. Seeing him down was just...unacceptable in LW's eyes. Especially when it was because of his parents. Personally, she felt they needed to pull the sticks out of their asses...or shove a brain up there instead of a stick.

LW's frown increased. They wanted him home for the weekend? This was not the first time she had heard Ren tell her this, but...maybe she was just being paranoid. Or pouting in her own way. But the wolf in her had its hackles raised and refused to let him go. There was just...a bad taste about it all.

The head pat succeeded in making her lips twitch in the ghost of a smile, but that wolfie mind of hers was too busy running on full right now, a rare occurrence. Poor Ren. She was picking up more than she probably should.

"Oh you better believe we'll be playing Scario Kart." LW finally muttered. Well, he'd already invoked the more wolfish side of her. So why not keep that deviant side flowing? Something in her gaze changed again and the she-wolf bounded towards him in that light dancers step. She easily stepped around him until she blocked his path. "Parents weekend...." She mused, taking a slow step back, which was in the direction he had been heading. "So which way do we go?" Her violet eyes were bright and mischievous, just daring him to try and talk her out of this one. The she-wolf's decision was made. She was going with him whether he liked it or not.

"Weren't mommy and daddy dearest asking about your friends the other day?" LW said airily, tail twitching. "I think I am a good representative for the three of us~" Meaning that out of the three, she had the toughest skin. Although she had to admit that Gabrian came in a close second.

"Come on, kitten! The day is wasting away. You got family tapping their toes and eying the clock. And I have my charming self to be."
PostPosted: Tue Feb 15, 2011 7:36 pm

"We'll play, we'll have fun, you'll lose~," Ren said lightly, waving a hand as he walked away from the school. "It'll be epic..."

He stopped. Turned. Stared at his best friend. "...we..?" Ren repeated, looking vaguely horrified as he looked at LW's mischievous face. "What do you mean 'we?' I can't - I can't take you back to my house. No, no, not you, not to them, LW."

Stepping back, Ren held the shewolf at arm's length, as if attempting to keep her from following him. The gesture was sweet; endearing, especially since it was purely LW, and something he shouldn't have been surprised to hear her come up with. Gabrian had already expressed a desire to meet his family, if only to yell at them. As for Alessa, well, Ren was not about to subject his ghoulfriend to the wrath and insanity of his stupid parents, so he refused to allow her to meet them, though she also had asked to meet them. But he wouldn't do that to her.

LW, on the other hand...Ren eyed her somewhat suspiciously. "Ye-es," he said. "But that doesn't mean I'm taking you with me. No way, little wolflove, not this time. These are my parents we're talking about. One look at you and they'll have a conniption. I can't possibly submit you to any of their ridicule."

Ren stepped away, folding his arms across his chest. "Not this time."

She lifted an eyebrow slowly at him, still blocking his path. "Yes. We." Her fingers tapped against her side as he made attempt number one to stop her. "Don't make me sound like a baby, gryphon. They won't break me. And you make this sound like it is a discussion." It wasn't. He'd have to get forceful to keep her back. Or just fly. But she was determined now.

The look she sent him was still challenging. And clearly said she was not taking 'no' for an answer. Not this time. There was no way she could. Especially not after how he was reacting. It had that...protective taste to it. Which meant she was going. Because Ren shouldn't have to protect her from his parents. Shouldn't have to try and separate that portion of himself from his usual self. The side his friends saw. LW was going to breach that line.

"Yep. Right. The prissy, stuck up, sons of a bitches, right?" A rude snort. "You say conniption like it is a bad thing." The she-wolf moved right back towards him when he stepped back, 'invading' his space. "And what, dear gryphon, makes you think I am a fragile little flower?" Her gaze flashed once before she stepped back slightly. "I'm not Alessa or Gabrian, Ren." She said softer. "I won't be offended or scarred for life."

It was true too. She was too laid back and easy going to be offended by what they would say. Hell, she would be offended if they weren't utter assholes to her. It would just be insulting if they suddenly became polite. Especially after everything she had heard about them.

The she-wolf looked him over slowly, tail lazily swinging back and forth. "Ren..." LW sighed heavily like he was some annoying pain. "I'm going with you. Just deal with it. And don't pout." She'd moved closer as she spoke until she was in front of him. Before he could protest yet again, she put a finger on his lips (not that this would really stop him). "No. I'm. Going." Jackdamnit, she never won anything against him, but she was winning this one.
PostPosted: Tue Feb 15, 2011 9:58 pm

"I never said you were a baby," Ren said, slightly exasperated as he tapped one finger against his arm. He recognized that look in her eyes - the one that said you are not going to win this argument because I will never back down and concede defeat. Not that that expression had ever actually stopped him before - he had won over it many times in the past already - but this time it was less playful and more...intense. Ren frowned.

"It is a bad thing," he replied unhappily, but his expression flickered towards being amused at her next comment. "Please oh please let me tell Gabe that you referred to him as a 'fragile little flower,' in a very roundabout way."

It seemed as if he wasn't going to win this argument. Ren sighed, reaching up a hand to rub the back of his neck. He opened his mouth to say something, but one finger from LW stopped him from speaking. He rolled his eyes, biting her finger lightly. "Fine. But if you're going to come, then we've gotta make this good."

Actually, now that he thought of it...this could be a very good thing.

...yes, it could be a very good thing indeed. Ren felt a smirk forming at the corners of his lips. "All right, Miss Wolf," he said. "Time to fly."

Without giving her time to react, Ren reached out, sweeping LW up into his arms. He had only ever carried two people this way - his sister, when they were younger, and then Alessa, when he took her on dates, but it was the only way to get them both back to his house. His wings extending, Ren pushed off from the ground, soaring up into the wide, open sky.

The flight home only took a few moments. Ren did not live far, and he flew fast. Within a short while he was landing gently on the grass just outside of a wide, expansive, and very elaborate looking home with gold trimmings and pristine white fixtures. Ren set LW down carefully, tugging her towards the house.

"Now," he said, turning back to her with a wink. "Shall we go see Mommy and Daddy dearest?"

"Not out loud." She agreed. "But you were thinking something similar to it." LW continued to meet his gaze with her own. Her eyes were normally playful and bright with some sort of mischief. This was probably one of the rare times you would see more of the feral side to it. The more convincing side. Otherwise, how could you take cute puppy dog eyes seriously?

Simple. You couldn't. So the wolf half was currently in the forefront.

"Bad for whom? You?" LW rolled her eyes. "Pa-lease. Preach that one to someone it will have an effect on." She blinked at him, and the barest hint of a blush started to form. She...she had not said anything like that! Had she? Oh man. Maybe she had. "I-I...no! I did not call him that!" Alright, she totally had, hadn't she? Gabe would mark that one down against her for even more payback.

The she-wolf flicked his nose when he nibbled at her finger. Something in the eased and relief raced through her, making her body loosen up. "Make it good?" LW stepped far enough back to strike a pose for him, eyes flashing. "I think I can work under those conditions."

The smirk that started to spread across his lips made her tail twitch. After all the frowning that had been going on, she wasn't sure that smirk was to be trusted. Wait...had he just said fly?! "What do you-" Yep. He'd said fly. LW didn't even get a chance to finish her question before Ren was sweeping her off her feet into his arms. Her cheeks were a little on the red side now. And she squeaked. Twice. Once when he swept her up. And again when wings were extended and they were airborne.

Wolves were land creatures. Not sky. She threw her arms around his neck gently but firmly, feeling her heartbeat triple. Until she actually looked around. It was...amazing. Seeing things from up here. Her grip loosened and a stupid grin formed on her face.

LW took in the sight before her with a surprisingly careful eye. She may not normally pay attention to some things. But when a wolf enters a new territory, they are damn sure to pay more attention to their surrounds. And this big huge house made her wrinkle her nose. Obviously, then felt they needed to compensate for something with such a showy house. "It's..." LW couldn't find the right word and tilted her head up towards Ren. "Pretty." A choked snort came from her as she fell in step next to the gryphon, a little bit of sass thrown into her walk. Best to use her current wardrobe to its fullest, right?

Looking between the house and her best friend, LW felt a pang of sadness for him. If the house was any indication of what his parents were like, she was glad she had..convinced him to let her come. With a warm smile, LW kissed her fingers and tapped his cheek in a sweet gesture. "Thanks for bringing me with you." She said softly and lightly bumped her hip against his.

"Now," she mimicked, "I say it is about time you introduced Mommy and Daddy to your bestest and most favorite werewolf."

"Welcome to the lovely - and of course, humble abode of the infamous family of Renaissance the gryphon," Ren said as he went up the front steps to his home, turning around to face LW and dipping low in an over exaggerated, extravagant bow, sweeping his arms wide. "On your left, you can see the perfectly trimmed bushes and flowers and trees, and on your right you can view the lovely pond that is the home to many a fish - and many a gryphon's dinner - next to the wide oak tree."

Reaching the front door now, Ren pivoted again, pressing a finger to his lips and winking at LW. "Now," he whispered, as if sharing a secret. "Now we meet the infamous family of Renaissance the gryphon. Shall we take a step inside?"

He should have rung the doorbell - even family members did - but he didn't feel like it. Instead, Ren merely pushed open the door and sauntered. Casting yet another mischievous glance back at his best friend, Ren held his hands up to his mouth.

"MOOOOOTTTHHHHEEEERRRR I'M HOOOOOOOMEEEE!"

Well, if he was going to make this good, he was going to make it Jacking good.

"What on earth - Renaissance."

Standing at the top of the elaborate staircase was his mother. Amantine looked utterly and completely flabbergasted, eyes wide with shock, though she quickly tried to conceal this as she descended towards them.

"Renaissance," she said, obviously attempting to keep from gawking openly at the shewolf in her rather...revealing ensemble. "Renaissance, what are you - "

"Hello, dear mother of mine!" Ren said with a wide grin as ducked his head, kissing her cheek and then slipping his arm around LW's shoulders, pulling her closer. "How're you doing this fine evening?"

Amantine stared. Then stared some more. Her gaze flickered to LW.

"Oh," said Ren, as if he had forgotten, though there was a smirk on his face. "I do believe you haven't met yet, have you? Mother, this is my best friend, Little Wolfe. LW, this is...my mother, Amantine. Who is delighted to see you."

Chortles of laughter were escaping her that she was doing her best to keep quiet. She was failing quite epically. "They are...so pristine and...definitely...lovely." Her tail was swishing around in amusement and she had a hand over her mouth now. "Ren....!" LW hissed through her fingers. If this was going to go well, she needed to keep her cool and NOT LAUGH HER a** OFF.

"Oh goody! The main attraction." She teased and stepped up next to him, peering around as he opened the door. Her nose wrinkled as the she-wolf took in the scents. Clean. Crisp. A little of the vanillay scent that was part of Ren's scent (his was better though). A grin was on her lips when he glanced back before announcing his presence rather loudly. A soft snicker escaped before she screwed up her face to look stupidly innocent. Play at their predatory side. No need for his parents to know just what kind of creature lurked on the inside just yet.

Oh god...the look on his mothers face! It took a LOT of effort for her not to bust out in laughter. She managed to keep that dumb look about her. Her eyes held her amusement though. And that tail of hers. It was moving slowly from side to side in an alluring way.

Easily sliding her feet along, LW leaned casually against Ren's side when he pulled her closer, an arm around her shoulders. Her bestie would be able to tell just by body movement alone how amused the she-wolf was. Every time his mothers eyes glanced her way, the she-wolf gave her a cheesy smile.

"I don't believe we have." She said in a voice slightly lower than her usual. They were almost husky tones. Oh yes. The she-wolf was having fun with this. She was going to play with these adults as much as possible. "Tis such a pleasure, lady Gryphon." Keeping a slight hold on Ren, she bent forward in a bow that was meant to show off the top she wore. Her gaze flickered up to Ren once in utter amusement before she righted herself.

"I must say, you are quite lovely." Flattery. It never hurt anyone, right? Her fingers curled slightly against Ren to keep from laughing. Something she was learning was going to be difficult while here.

A tall, graceful woman with nearly flawless skin for her age, golden hair tied back in a neat knot at the back of her head, and dressed in an elegant cream colored dress, Amantine was the perfect model for the Gryphon household. Her Amber colored eyes expertly made up with makeup, were narrow and almost almond shaped. Overall, Amantine was a very beautiful, sophisticated woman.

She also looked totally and completely horrified.

Ren loved it. Probably a little bit more than he should have.

Fighting back a nearly uncontrollable urge to laugh, he curled his fingers around LW's shoulder, rubbing up and down her arm in a friendly manner as his mother stared unabashedly at the shewolf's rather...exotic outfit, her gaze flickering down to the tight top that showed, er...quite a bit more than normal as she bent over in a low bow.

"Wha - I - thank you," Amantine replied stiffly, her eyes cutting towards her son. "Renaissance, might I have a word with you, please? In private?"

He gave her a mock salute. "Absolutely, dear mother of mine~" Ducking his head, Ren pressed a unnecessarily long and lingering kiss to LW's cheek, winking at her as he stepped away with his mother.

"Oh, feel free to look around a bit," he called cheerfully back over his shoulder to her. "I think my sister's upstairs, if you want to go introduce herself."

Priceless. The look she was receiving from one, Amantine the lovely lady gryphon, was utterly priceless. Not even fully within her presence for five minutes and she had already pulled a horrified expression out of her! She should get bonus points. LW was secretly cracking up on the inside while working to school her features into that dumb, slightly flirtatious expression. Apparently her outfit was the perfect choice to wear today.

Her tail brushed along the back of his legs once while she kept it from wagging like an overly excited puppy. "You are most welcome." LW said in the same low voice, though not quite as close to the husky tones. Too much of her amusement was leaking into her voice. Which meant it was closer to the warm bubbly sound the others always heard.

She let out a small wolfish sound of pleasure at the kiss to her cheek, playing that up just for their audience. Violet eyes slanted and her tail lightly bumped against him as he pulled away to speak with his mother dearest in private. More points to them both. She and her bestie were going to give the prissy gryphons something to tweet about for a while.

"Oh I'm sure I'll find something to amuse myself with." LW snickered softly and watched the two disappear before taking a slow look around. Spotting the stairs, a slow and devilish curl spread across her lips. But before she could advance on those...

"Alright, deviant." She crouched down and flicked at her leg. From within the fuzzy leg cover rolled out what looked to be a purple ball of some sort. It rolled a little more and than stopped. A wide red eye blinked open as a fang filled grin spread. "You have to behave until I tell you otherwise, deal?" The mimic glared at her, thinking about this. He looked around a little and slowly frowned, but nodded. "Good." Standing, LW held her tail in front of Billy Bob and let the mimic clamp down on it as she prowled silently up the stairs, following a sweet scent. It was similar to Ren's yet had a definite female tinge to it. Devilish smirk back in place, LW flicked her tail. BB let go and rolled along at her feet while she lurked the hall. The first room she paused at and sniffed at the door. Ren. Though it was faint. Not the one she wanted though. Moving on she went to the next door. This is the one...

Using her tail, she let it drape over BB so he wasn't noticeable sitting at her feet. That would spoil their fun. Taking a breath to rid her face of the devilish look, LW put on the stupid smile and knocked hesitantly at the door. "Sorry to be a bother..." she said in a much different voice than the one she used while downstairs. "I think I got confused on which room I was supposed to go to." Her tones were soft, sweet, and almost too innocent. And would hopefully make Ren's sister feel like the more powerful one. The better to catch her off guard with.

She mentally promised herself and Ren not to be the cause of anything being destroyed up here. Prissy gryphon sanity not included of course!
