♥♡♥ Scarentine Party! ♥♡♥ Welcome to the Scarentine Party, brought to you by the Student Council and the unwillingness of several gnomes! While some of us will choke and suffocate on all the love in the air, others may embrace it, taking this time to show their loved ones how much they care! It's not all about significant others though. It's equally about friendship! So if you have a few friends that make everything worthwhile, be sure to let them know how much you appreciate them. Perhaps even with a Scarentine Card! Hosted in the cafeteria, there are cupcakes and cookies of various shapes (hearts, broken hearts, tombstones and skulls to name a few), the ever popular punch and of course music and plenty of room for dancing! Streamers of various colors (red, black, white and pink being the most prominent) adorn the walls and there are balloons at every table. Happy Scarentine's Day!

Rain walked through the cafeteria with a nod of approval. Everything looked nice. The snack table was stunning with the various Scarentine decorations and the snacks looked delicious! Her taste buds didn't work right but she thought they tasted good. They didn't make her as sick as most food. She was glad she had remembered to eat a large bowl of Brain Oats that morning.
Several of the gnomes still looked a bit ill from having to blow up all the balloons but each small table had several of them tied around a vase. Each vase held a single black rose. She would have to make some cookies for everyone that helped decorate the room, and of course the student chaperons that were helping them.
Waiting no further, she opened the doors to the Cafeteria. Hopefully word of the party had spread enough to at least lure in a few attendees.

Scarentine's Day typically brought a lot of doom and gloom to Shine. It wasn't a holiday that was best spent alone, she thought, and her past held a long trend of just that on every Scarentine's. Helping Rain with the student council party might have seemed like a lot of work for some, but it was the best day ever to Shine - it meant that she finally got to do something for a friend who had shown her nothing but kindness from day one of her attendance here.
The zombie girl had a (very rare) smile on her face as she watched her friend open the Cafeteria doors. Gnawing on an anatomically correct heart-shaped lollipop, she shuffled over to give Rain her proper kudos.
"You did a good job," she quietly complimented her, shifting awkwardly. "I think everyone will really like it."

Kasumi clicked her serpent pen against the clipboard she always carried with her to look Professional. She stood near Rain in the beginning, looking over the decorations and the guest list (so to speak) three times before nodding to the President that all was well. She smiled, taking inventory of the prizes and adding a small deck of cards to the pile. Interesting! Hopefully everyone would approve of the dance and the activities the Student Council had planned. No doubt about it - Kasumi had the utmost faith in their undead leader and trotted along behind Rain to make sure everything was in order. Naturally, everything had its place and the ghost welcomed everyone who walked through the door, single or otherwise.
"Welcome! And please enjoy yourselves. You can submit any song requests to me and I'll be sure to see what we can do."

"I hope so," Rain replied nervously. She was anxious about the party and didn't want it to be a total flop. She took her role on the student council more seriously than she probably should so it meant a lot to her. It seemed to mean a lot to the secretary as well for Kasumi was right at work. She wondered if the ghoul had any music by her favorite band, The Deadites. She'll have to check up on that later. "I think this will be a success and I really appreciate your help, Shine. Oh yeah, I have something for you." She took her friend by the hand, or claws in this case, and set a small card in her palm. "Happy Scarentine's Day, Shine! I have one for you too, Kasumi." She had to pause for a moment to shuffle through her cards before finding the right one. She set it on the ghost's clipboard with a quiet thunk. She wasn't sure what she made the cards out of. The material was thicker and stronger than paper but still flexible. It was something she had found in a garbage can so they smelled faintly of trash and markers. She liked Scarentine's Day. It was a way to show others that you cared.

The ghoul was more than a little surprised that Miss President Rain had given her a Scarentine. How thoughtful! Kasumi gratefully took it and placed it on her clipboard, marking over several other things in the process. Rain went to a lot of work to create this card and the ghost bowed to her in appreciation. "It's simply lovely, Miss Rain! Thank you so very much! I'm so glad you brought this up. I happened to bring you something as well. I hope you enjoy them!" They were picked up fresh from the market run exclusively by the undead, so it was easy to find something Rain might be interested in. The ghost sincerely hoped her gift went over well.  Just before Carthusia got cold feet, she said to herself, Remember, this is all about your image! It's important to be confident and hold your head high. Be proud! Be happy! Know that you and Livi look fantastic. Now get going! The demoness hooked one arm around Envy's and they strolled into the dance, decked out in their very finest. Carthusia wanted her impression to be a good one, especially one students who weren't in the demon dance (not being demons, duh!). This was her change to impress the rest of the school body with her fashion sense and taste in drop-dead gorgeous men. "Livi, you look so handsome in red. Not that you didn't look handsome in green, but you're so adaptable!" she tittered, gazing at the decorations and waving to the others in the dance. She didn't know most of them, but that wouldn't stop her. Besides, the Student Council was here to be impressed as well!

He wasn't too sure what to think about parties. Things like get-togethers could be fun, but were also tiring, stuffy (in the way of too many bodies in one spot), loud and could get a bit uncouth.. depending on who was throwing the party. Hopefully there wouldn't be anything too bad. But that was neither here nor there. The most important thing was focusing on his lovely date, who looked amazing in her outfit for the night. She definitely kept impressing him with how fashionable she was and how she looked good in pretty much everything she wore. And here he thought no other female was that fashion savvy... til he came to the school and met many XD.
"Do I?" A soft smile curled his lips as he looked down at his attire. "Honestly, this is the best I could come up with on such short notice... but I'm glad you think it looks good." He liked it but... not completely. AH, the issues of being a perfectionist >>. "And I think it's a good thing to be adaptable to things. Change is always an important factor in fashion, yeah? So, what would you like to do first? Check out the games or dance?"

Alwine was so nervous that wisps were starting to evaporate from her arms. It was good that she had decided to take off most of her bandages, otherwise the whole experience would have been rather... sweaty.
As it was, Alwine had chosen to flaunt her invisibility, wearing nothing on her arms except for some bandages on her hands. She wore a long pinot noir dress, its pink edges curling into wisps around her black heels. Around her neck was a pearl choker that the haunt couldn't help but fiddle with every now and then.
She glanced over at her date, Jack-B-Nimble-- wait, date? I mean, he was just accompanying her. Right. Because he won the auction. Yes, he was a friend... friend... anyway, her friend Jack-B-Nimble was standing next to her. This would be fun, right?

Before she could decide what she wanted to do first (damn him and his being so agreeable sometimes!), Carry placed a gentle hand on her date's chest to smooth out a wrinkle in his vest. If she didn't know any better, she would have swooned herself into the floor. But no, must keep composure! Swooning herself into a crater in the middle of the creepateria would be a hellaciously bad idea at this juncture, but Livius sure did know how to dress himself. Carthusia sighed inwardly. What was she thinking? This was all part of a plan, and she wasn't some lovesick ghoul! She had places to go, things to do, Livius to think about...
HEY WAIT.
She shook her head to rid herself of the embarrassing thought and tried to keep her blushing to a minimum. No, really, it was just makeup. It's the reflection off the dress. Allergies. Yeah. "Well, before we do anything strenuous, would you like something to eat, or did you have a snack on the way over?" Right, change the subject. Let's focus on food! The less she had to worry about being caught in her girlish revelries, the better. Though it was probably flattering, falling for him was not part of the plan!
