Du le leche, it was one of the most fancy sounding places around and one that took reservations weeks ahead of time to even get a table at the place, not to mention that it seemed a touch on the expensive side... but he had saved for it, to be able to bring Chath out to a nice and romantic sort of dinner like normal couples did. At least the normal couples on the television that was. He gave a rather excited sound in his throat as he looked at his watch, he wasn't wearing it at the moment, instead carrying it in his pocket, and his wings gave a flutter. He was a little nervous though he didn't want to admit it, he always was when it came to inviting Chath places since it seemed as though Keir was making it his life's work to try to be underfoot when they went out. If they were lucky though he would decide that this one outing wasn't worth his time and Chath would come here on his own. He supposed that they would see soon enough.

It was a surprise of sorts, at least as nice of a surprise as one could make it be while still mentioning the whole wearing of nice clothing aspect of the date. The place seemed rather fancy from what he'd heard both in the atmosphere and the mode of dress that the patrons wore when going here. Geia himself was dressed quite nicely, he was wearing a white button up shirt, a red skirt that fell to about his knees, and some matching sandals. As always the silver bracelet Chath gave him was around one wrist and from time to time he would find himself fiddling with him, wondering if everything was alright, if it would go well, if he looked good enough... and as per usual he wondered if Chath was happy with everything between them. Geia was happy with himself, with how he was, how he dressed, he knew who he was... but at times he wondered if Chath would be happier with a girl. Something he shoved aside, deciding that today was a happy day, one meant for love and lovers, and as such he wasn't going to let that worry get him down.

Lifting a hand up the owl boy fiddled with his bands next, small sections of them hung free while the rest of it was gathered up and put in a neat braid that fell down his back between his wings. There were day he considered trimming it back, so that it was out of the way and since he was sure that it would be a good idea that would allow him to move easier... a good idea but not one that he had gone through with yet. He liked his hair and thought that cutting it all off would be a shame. Releasing his bands he looked down the street one way then the other, wings fluttering again, "He will be here any time now, relax." He told himself in Draconic to get himself to calm down. Last thing he was sure the newt needed was to be pounced straight away given how Geia knew Chath reacted when surprised or overwhelmed. If nothing else at least he was getting good at summoning water if he needed to revive his boy friend.

Geia's dark eyes went rather wide when he spotted Chath, taking a step forward, then felt his heart skip a beat as he took in what he was wearing. It was much different from what he normally wore and it seemed to be stuck to him and partly see through... something that caused his heart to run a little faster and made him flush a little. That was just... a very nice sight to behold for sure he thought to himself, smiling when he saw the manner in which Chath jogged over to him before pausing to catch his breath. It was something he could appreciate as it gave him extra time to take in everything about the newt before gave a smile, "Good afternoon, Chath." He murmured, "You look really nice." So nice, all dressed up like that... it wasn't what he was expecting, more fancy shorts maybe but that was about it. This was a rather nice surprise.

He took a step closer to him, tucking his watch away into his pocket, "Do you want to sit down? Or do you need a drink?" He asked, trying not to sound to much like an overly worried parent since he knew that drove Chath crazy, something that wasn't entirely his fault. He would instead blame it on the fact that he'd been babysitting against recently which only made his protective instincts run that much higher and faster.

The owl looked around for a moment before his smile only grew. He didn't see any sign of Keir... did this mean that it was just the two of them? Wonderful! It wasn't that he hated the dragon, Geia didn't hate anyone aside from perhaps Aullol, but he did find him very difficult to deal with at times. He was Chath's partner though which meant that Geia had to deal with him no matter what might arise between them and between himself and Chath. Since they were both a part of the newt's life they would have to figure out how to properly share him... though he was sure that if anything Keir would continue to try to keep most of Chath's time to himself. He supposed that he and Keir were the same in that manner, wanting all of Chath's time.

Geia felt himself flush at the compliment, wings giving a little flutter from the excitement that he felt at something so simple. He took a step closer to the newt before he blinked, "Ahh... Keir? Yeah, I figured you might have a problem with him, he always seems to like to make things difficult when it comes to the two of us doing things. I am glad that you were able to make it here." That the dragon hadn't tried to sit on him to keep him from escaping was something at least... unless of course Chath slipped out while the Black Dragon wasn't looking... he could almost see that happening he thought to himself, holding back a smile.

The owl stepped in closer to Chath, taking his arm, and cuddled up against him for a moment, lifting up on his tip toes to give him a little kiss, "Yeah, lets go in. No rush of course but some food would be good." And getting Chath some water as well, he didn't want the newt to overheat after all, not something that he wanted to risk.

As the pair of them went inside they were greeted by the hostess, a woman with a bright smile, who look their names then a moment later was leading them to their table. She placed the menus on the table, "Here you are, look this over, and your server will be here soon to take your order." She said in a kind manner, giving them a nod before moving to help the next couple. It was a busy time of year so she wasn't able to stay long.

Geia looked around then smiled, "It all looks nice in here, doesn't it?" He murmured, quite excited over getting to be in such a fancy place with Chath. He moved to settle down into his seat, opening his menu to scan over what there was to be had here, his dark eyes sparkling in delight.

Geia watched Chath as he gulped down his glass of water, eyes going a little wide before he gave a bit of a smile, "Did it help?" He worried about him getting a little overheated and the way he drained the water made him worry a little more. He really wanted to reassure him but knew in doing so but might bother the newt, he knew that he had a bad habit of sometimes getting a bit to overprotective and motherly when it came to those round him, Chath included.

He gave a smile when he seemed to be alright, having gone from drinking his water to the menu and the owl looked down at it as well, seeing if there was anything on it that jumped out at him that would be really good. He could already spot a few things having a taste for both fish and fowl, something he sometimes worried about. Was it weird that he liked to eat chicken since he was a bird as well? He was pretty sure it would one be weird if he ate owl, chickens... well everyone and everything seemed to eat them so surely that wasn't out of the ordinary, "Huh?" Geia lifted his head up and starred at Chath for a moment, ear tufts giving a little wiggle, "You... don't like it?" He asked, sounding uncertain. Should they have con somewhere else? Somewhere more simple? It didn't strike him as though fast food would be terribly romantic.

Chewing on his lower lip for a moment he found himself asking, "Is there somewhere else you would rather go to eat, Chath?" He asked, wings fluttering behind a little.

Geia found himself starring at Chath's empty class of water and then to his own that he hadn't even take a sip of and was about to offer the contents of his glass to him. Before he could do so though the waitress made a reappearance to refill his glass, rather promptly which impressed the owl greatly, before he gave a smile, "I'm glad that this place is alright." He told him, ear tufts fluttering rapidly. That he was just feeling like a fish out of water was understandable and that he was glad that they came here was something that made the owl more then a little happy, in fact he was quite excited though he was doing his best to keep still. He was sure this wasn't the sort of place that a person bounced around in.

"I was thinking about getting this dish, it has chicken and shrimp, both of which are really good." He said, then flipped through the menu a bit more and found himself wondering if they would have room for dessert. He supposed that they would see after their dinner was eaten, "Appetizer? Sure, we can share." He said, not sure what Chath was getting but didn't mind trying whatever it might be. Flipping back to page of the menu that contained what he was wanting to eat he lifted his hand out to pick up his glass of water and around his wrist, as always, glittered the silver bracelet that Chath had gotten him some time ago. One of those things that had become Geia's most prized possession.

"Drink, hmmm... good question. They have a lot of drinks here that sound really good. What do you think your going to get?" He asked curiously as he looked over the drink section.

Geia tilted his head to one side, looking a touch curious. He was supposed to eat it without knowing what it was, huh? He seemed to be thinking on it for a moment before he gave a slow nod of his head, "Alright, sounds fair." He told him. He would do his best to keep is curiosity in check and eat the appetizers without asking him what it was that he was eating, "I won't ask until after I have eaten some." Though if it were something really odd maybe he would be best in not knowing what exactly it was at all...

Leaning over so that he could see what Chath was looking at he gave a nod of his head, "Oh, that sounds interesting." He said, wings giving a little flutter. Flower tea always did sound interesting to him, then again tea in general did, something he'd picked up from his time with Saedah and her family he was sure. He found himself wondering for a moment if she had tried it before or not, maybe he should see about getting some of this sort of tea for her later, "Sure, lets share some tea. Its nice, getting to share so much with you like this." He said, flushing a bit in happiness as he reflected on how romantic it all felt. The setting, sharing food, sharing a pot of tea, it had him smiling in a happy manner and feeling as though this were a grand idea.

A moment after things were decided upon the waitress reappeared, refilling what was needed for Chath before she set aside the pitcher on a free table, "Are the two of you ready to order?"

The owl nodded before pointed out what it was that he wanted, "I would like this, please." He said with a smile and then looked over to Chath to allow him to order next.

Geia reached out to pick up a piece of the bread, breaking it in half, and then set to eating it, "Ooo, this is good." For a date with Chath, and any other time he spent with him, Geia didn't wear his gloves. The newt had convinced him long ago that it would be alright to take them off though he was always extra careful since he had nails that were sharp if not carefully dealt with and Chath had such sensitive skin.

"How? I borrowed my dad's computer in his office at D-Corp to look places of this nature up then Vorel and I went out scouting for which one looked the best." He explained, "Ahh, he stayed outside mind you. I doubt he would really fit into a place like this without making a bit of a mess." A Frost in a fancy place like this was the same as a bull in a china shop no matter how careful Vorel might have tried to be. He'd helped in carrying him from place to place at least, even if he could fly on his own Vorel was only to happy to help him out with that task, "I think it was the nice atmosphere here that caused me to choose this one out of the others I'd visited." He'd obviously wanted for everything to be perfect.

Geia found himself looking at the dish that was placed their between them and he found himself trying to figure out what it was exactly that Chath had ordered for them, he couldn't really tell at a glance but, "It smells good." He said, eager to dig in but he held off since the woman was pouring... something for them. He tilted his head before glancing at the label. Sparkling cider? It looked liked something else there for a moment but surely the place wouldn't serve them something like that since they were clearly to young in appearance, right?

He lifted his gaze from the pretty glass of the liquid that was placed before him and to Chath as the newt made a toast and he felt his cheeks color, "Wow." He murmured, wings giving a little flutter, "Your so sweet Chath, I would really love for to be together too." The idea of them getting to stay together forever, it was a really nice thought indeed, one that made his heart race like crazy in his chest. The newt was really getting into the romantic date feel of things, wasn't he? Making toasts and such declarations.

He gave a smile as he lifted his glass to sip from it before he gave gazed at the newt in an affectionate manner, "I love you, Chath." He murmured, loving words meant only for the newt when said in such a manner. The love he felt for him being far different from that he felt for the others he knew, a deeper sort of love meant only for a significant other.
