 She huffed as she glanced behind her, assured that the demon creature that had terrified her was gone, but so was her sister. Pouting, Khepri figured that Ming was probably okay; her sister was a resourceful mare, after all. Now, however, she was all alone, and Khepri dropped her mask of being self-centered as she wandered into a clearing that had a nice, shimmering surface that allowed her to look at herself.
She sighed as her expression: forlorn, lonely, sad. She couldn't help herself, though, and knew it was her own fault she was alone like this. It was hard to find true love; she wasn't sure how her mother, Shimshek, had done it, but somehow, Khepri knew she would get the same thing someday. She hoped, anyway. "Someday..." she whispered to herself, dropping onto the soft grass close to the small pond as she relaxed in the early afternoon sun.

Erchanhardt leveled his wings out as he circled around the small pond, it seemed to be perfect place for him to touch down and land for a short rest. Now hopefully he could stick the landing, tossing his head to move his bangs out of his eyes he angled himself downward. Wings arched he slowed himself down as he grew closer to the ground. Starting to land he smiled for a brief second before a soft breeze moved his hair into his line of sight. His front hooves hit the ground and he stumbled seeming to almost catch himself before he tumbled forward.
Huffing Erchanhardt righted himself and shook his head moving his hair once again. Looking around he blushed lightly spotting a mare. That was great just great he probably had just made himself look like a total dork infront of some random stranger and a lady stranger at that. Glancing away he moved to the pond and lowered his head to take a sip of water, trying to think of way to approach the mare and perhaps make a friend.

Khepri blinked when a Wind Soquili--and a stallion at that--lighted down with grace only to stumble a bit later, due to--she noted with amusement--his hair getting in his face. He looked like a stallion who was cared for by a two-legger, so she didn't understand why he would have trouble with his astonishingly beautiful getting in his face. She watched as he took a drink, still a bit a ways from her, and she mused to herself on whether she wanted to have his company or simply watch him from afar.
He was a magnificent stallion to behold, and Khepri had seen her fair share of sexy stallions. However, not only did this stallion appear sexy, he seemed to be able to give off an aura of just masculinity and, count to the fact he was rather handsome. She turned away and grimaced to herself. She wasn't doing this again. She had already lost one love--crush, she corrected herself--and she wasn't even sure if she ought to try again. It was okay, she thought, to admire from afar, but up close, her mask would come right back up. The stallion was far enough away to not realize he'd caught her in an unguarded moment, but Khepri prepared herself anyway.
Her gaze returned to watch the blue-gray stallion, soft golden eyes glinting with bemusement. She wasn't a thinker, unlike her sister, Ming. Khepri mentally grumbled to herself. She might as well go with the flow; if the stallion had noticed her and would approach, she would enjoy his company. If not, she could stay here and brood like a silly mare over her rather boring, apathetic current life.

Erchanhardt lifted his head slowly looking at the mare through his hair, he could feel her eyes on him. He was still rather unsure of how to approach her but he'd just wing it. Smiling at his own little joke, he flared his wings stretching them out before settling them down against his sides. Turning he started towards the mare. Blinking Erchan stopped again and tossed his head trying to work his hair out of his eyes and his head piece back into its proper place.
Pleased with his hair arrangement, Erchanhardt started toward the mare once again. His mind racing, what could he possibly say? Even from this distances he could tell the mare was lovely. Then again all mares were rather lovely in his eyes. Moving closer toward the mare he settled on a simple greeting being the best way to approach. Getting with in hearing distance he bowed his head before speaking. " Hello there" Stopping he waited to see the mare's reaction, he did not want to get to close without her seeming allowance.

She raised an eyebrow as the handsome stallion stepped closer to her, and a lovely voice greeted her ears as he spoke. "Hello," she replied, masking her earlier unguarded moment. "What brings you here today, handsome?" What could she say? She was bored. And this fellow was handsome and had approached her first, so Khepri felt she was entitled to do as she pleased. Her sister wasn't around to scold her for playing around, and she doubted the stallion would feel hurt if she decided not to play with him anymore.
Rising from her position, she tilted her head and smiled at him in what she hoped was a cute and somewhat sultry way. "I'm Khepri, by the way. And what's your name?" She eyed him up and down, and had to hide a laugh at how his hair continuously fell over his eyes. But it was such lovely hair, and she found she could appreciate the rest of him as well (not that she already had). She was also somewhat curious about the headdress he wore--was he bonded with a two-legger?
