"Damn."
Enikil looked at his kill with a long, drawn out sigh. The carcas was soaked through with mud from the recent rains, and with every few feet or so, part of it would tear off. By the time he made it back to the pride, he would be lucky if he had a scrap left. That meant there was nothing for his family to eat, and nothing for him to construct with. Two sides of the same damn useless coin.
The white male sat back on the dark terrain to ponder of his situation. His thick mane was held away from his eyes by dried blood and body goo. Combined with the natural stank of decaying flesh, it was a wonder that he was the only predator in his little nitch of Africa. "I can't just leave it here." He mused. "So...what do I do with it?"

She had a bright smile on her face as she carefully tucked a bright red flower behind her ear. She had never wandered in this direction and she was finding very interesting things as she wandered and this made her very excited, she loved the idea of having somewhere to go and some thing to see, or for that matter something new to see and do. A large smile was on her face as she lifted her head again and the scent of something was in her nose. Her face scrunched up and she grunted before her ears perked up. She was curious of where this smell was coming from and even though it smelt horrible she was curious of where it was. She wanted to know really badly that was for sure. She was a curious little thing.
As she approached the dead body she noticed the lion and she watched him curiously, she was thinking about saying something but her almost mute behavior she really didn't want to. It wasn't her favorite thing to do, she really didn't like to talk.

While Enikil pondered his current predicament, he happened to look over Talipia's way. And pause. Of course, she wasn't the first female he had ever seen on his little jaunts, but with that flower...Enikil had to stop himself from thinking she was a goddess in mortal form. For surely, wouldn't one look the way she did?
He didn't move to protect his kill. Rather, he allowed her to explore all she wanted and merely sat back, watching her with just as much curiosity as she had. He bent his head down to inhale her scent, and satisfied that she wasn't a threat, began to ponder whether he should introduce himself or keep his big mouth shut.

Talipia was pretty stuck herself, she wasn't too sure if she wanted to walk up to the male, he seemed a little strange. Then again maybe it was her who was strange and him who was just normal... Either way she didn't really care she didn't want to walk up to him, that felt weird. She didn't like meeting new lions. Lions were scary to her, males were anyway. They took over her pride and drove out her sisters. While she kept to herself while they were around she still was a little scared at the idea of them. She flopped down on her haunches, she'd let him walk over to her, that seemed safer in her mind for a reason.
She cocked her head to the side as she looked at him, not sure of what to think of him, it really was something interesting to her. She wasn't sure what to think of it. She wasn't used to seeing males in a while, she just wished they were gone. But he didn't seem like the other males he had met.

Should he say something to her? The space between them was unnerving him, but he didn't know what to do. Because of his 'quirks', most members in the pride tended to put what he said on the back burner in favor of others, so what if she was the same?
When the female flopped onto her haunches, he took that as an invitation. Enikil took a deep breath, gathered his wits, and approached. "Are you new here?" Instantly, he closed his eyes, mentally berating himself before taking another deep breath. He sounded like one of his brothers! "I mean, is this your land? And...are you hungry? I can find something alot better to eat than that." He motioned to the carcas. "Not to mention healthier."

Talipia looked at the male and smiled brightly, he did seem friendly enough that was for sure. Tali moved closer to him and sat on the other side of his meal the smile still bright on her face. She arched a brow at his question not really that sure of what he was talking about she cocked her head making sure that he knew that she was confused by what he was talking about. She then considered his question before shaking her head and motioning her paw behind her making sure that heknew that she was saying behind her.
She then paused and giggled some. "Don't talk much." She said as she motioned toward herself. She then smiled she knew that she was hard to communicate with some times however on the other hand she was more interested into helping others.She then looked down at the male and sook her head she wasn't interested into it. Not really anyway, she wasn't that hungry. She flicked her tail and paused before sitting up more and motioning her paws toward her self once more."Talipia." She paused and then looked at him and smiled motioning toward him as if to ask himif he was going to say his name too. She wanted him to say his name too, she was curious of who he was.
