 It was a fine day but the sun was setting. Adalyn had done nothing important the entire day and she was growing bored she had not seen anyone she knew for some time now. She has thought her mate would of at least kept in touch and the longer he was away the more she began to dought her feelings for him. She felt he had tricked her in a way now..Her feelings for him were not as strong but somehow they were still there. She sighed longing for a good friend she could talk to when no one else would..
Today she thought she could meet someone but the forest had been quiet except for the other animals who lived there. She had nothing to do anymore and was starting to believe she really should leave her mask off if that helped her know others..Now though she sat down and put her head on the ground tired of the uneventful day.

It has been a day, since he snuck out from his home. His mind was racing with curiosity and the different sights attracted him. He felt a wave of relief just knowing he didn’t have to worry about another harpy trying to claim him for her own. The clawed soquili found himself entering a forest and he didn’t show any form of fear.
He wasn’t aware of the other type of breeds that maybe lurking around, nor did he know of some of the dangerous kinds like Kalona and Skinwalker.
As he was walking slowly on a clear pathway he noticed something white up ahead. It wasn’t very small and looked to be alive. He slowly walked forward and his claws dug into the ground, keeping his steps quiet.

Sitting down was doing nothing for her..She got up and started walking once more wondering if she would meet someone new. She loved the forest with all her heart and enjoyed to walk through it. Of course she did not let that side of her show if it could be helped she was content the way she was even if her mate and brother knew her other side.
As she walked on she noticed some strange footprints they looked to be holes in the ground as if something with huge claws had been here. She had no idea what had claws that big or even what had claws besides birds. She decided to take more caution following the footprints unfraied of what might be at the end of the path.

Rave stopped in his tracks and glanced up at the sky, he noticed some clouds gathering. He thought perhaps it might rain? His pupil-less eyes glanced around, checking out his current surroundings. The half harpy noticed a little water stream nearby and stalked over towards it for a drink. He lowered his head for a drink and his guard was slightly off.
Though his claws dug deep into the earth and if anything was to come at him, he’d be quick to strike if proven threatened. It was in his nature after all; however part of him is rather laid back like his father.

She noticed a stream up ahead and follwed the tracks to it. On the other side was a shocking creature. It looked like a horse but instead of hooves it had huge claws. Instead of a mane it had feathers but the one thing was she knew it was a stallion and quite a unique one at that. She wanted to move closer to get batter look but was scared that he might attack her with his claws. She did not want to fight or possibly get hurt but she wanted to find out more of this strange stallion.
She decided to stay back behind the trees and watch him. If he came back her way she wold try to talk to him. If she just want up to him he could be very protective and lash out. She had heard of those types of horses like walkers and kalonas she had no idea what type this one was. She stood still now her glowing eyes watching his movements very carefully as she also did not want it to look like she was watching him.

As he was drinking his ears twitched and soon he became alert. Head lifting slowly he caught a small glimpse of white ducking behind a tree. From what he was gathering it wasn’t something he should be preparing for a fight. He tried to act like he didn’t notice and his blue pupil-less eyes rolled and simply snorted. Perhaps he seemed scary? His father had hooves and he didn’t have hooves but rather sharp claws.
Rave decided to act cool and walk through the stream water, the cool water sent a chill down his spine. He was walking slowly towards her but acting like he was just heading that direction to go somewhere. He was rather curious of what was hiding from him and he wouldn’t mind a conversation with someone other than a harpy.

Adalyn noticed the claws stallion starting to come back her way splashing through the shallow stream. She took a few steps back and then waited for him to get close enough to talk to. She was still worried about his claws since she had no idea what he was she cold only hope he was friendly at least not the hostile type. As he got closer though she noticed his eyes glowed like hers but his were blue and more alien like.
She decided to get closer and walked out into the open staring at the stallion now her eyes locked on his. She wanted to see what his reaction to her would be now if he could possibly be a friend she could talk to. Her other side was shifting through and she could not help her 2 sides.
"Hello There..What Scary Claws you have there..Better to attack or befriend with?"

The sounds of rustling ahead pleased his curiosity more and soon he was to discover what was hiding from him. A white ghostly mare..no wait this wasn’t a regular mare, she had an odd tail and hooves. This was another type of breed he had no knowledge of and so curiosity drove him in.
“Depends..on the situation.” he answered with a rather rugged voice.
Rave began to circle around her and his claws crunched the earth, his blue eyes studied her briefly. Then cocked his head to the side just slightly “What might you be¸ my ghostly lady?” he teased.

"What would you consider this situation..?"
She never took her eyes off him she knew he might try to do something if she looked away. She wondered what he was the way he looked and even sounded were all very new to her. She had not met half of the breeds she knew existed. She noticed he was now walking in a cirulce around her as if to size her up. She stood still as he walked around her she wondered what he thought of her hidden face.
"I can be anything you want me to be..Your friend or your nightmare..it all depends on who is asking..My dear sir.."
She hints at scarscism mocking the way he talked. She found it funny knowing this was very dangerous more so when you were talking to a strange with who knows how long claws. She felt though that this would be a stallion she could get along with unlike that Shilo she had met who was hyperactive and thought he was a dog. Of course he was nice just not the type she could stay near for to long. Right now she felt this stallion could be a good friend to have with those claws...

The thought crossed his mind that she didn’t back down or cower before him. He felt pleased to know she wasn’t afraid of him based on appearances. He stopped circling her once he was facing her and looked at her with his blue eyes again.
“I’m Rave.” he simply said.

She watched him circle her like prey but he stopped suddenly. She could feel his blue eyes staring into her. She stared back her glowing eyes matching his eyes locked on for any sudden movement. He seemed to be a quiet type who got his words across in other ways. Of course he had spoken but now he only uttered two words and that was "Im" and his name. She was surprised he had not questioned her mask yet that was normally the first thing she got asked about.
"My name is Adalyn..Im not sure if it is nice to meet you yet.."
She nods at him never taking her eyes off his. She does not feel any fear but she still knows the threat of his claws is still there.She wold not ask him any questions till she knew he would not attack her for any reason. She wanted to know about his feathers and claws but he could be the personal type.

He couldn’t felt but feel amused at her last comment and his feathers ruffled a bit. Rave tried his best to act at ease to show he wasn’t going to attack her. Giving a slight nod “I understand.” He wasn’t expecting acceptance right away from other soquili.
He was curious of her mask and wondered why she hid away behind one. Though he didn’t want to seem too over-curious so he had to play it cool, he kept his eyes locked on her.
“So may I ask why do you wear a mask?” he tried to act half interested in his voice.

He seemed to be the laid back type but she still would not take any chances. She was surprised at how cool he acted claiming he understood her and all. She thought he would get mad for someone be cautious because of his looks. She did still want to know him better though she needed friends she could relate to. Her mate was so different than her and now it surprised her she even did fall for him. She wished love lasted forever but that was an entirely different thought.
"I wear a mask to scare away those i meet..It looks like your not running though..I would be running from you but i have little fear at this point..I hide my face from others because i wish to remain a passing spirit whose face is never seen and never reconised..Of course you could always ask Pavi how i look.."

The half harpy was a little shocked she opened up to him a bit. Back at the flock it was rather hard to talk to any of the females. They always seemed so aggressive and just wanted to use him as a slave for breeding or something along those lines. This for him was a nice treat and he finally felt relaxed for once in his life.
“Scare me off? Heh..I’ve dealt with worse in my flock.” he thought briefly.
Raising one front leg up his claws stretched and he placed it down. Rave was starting to feel a slight cramp in his foot.
“Pavi?” he wasn’t sure who that was so he thought to ask.

"Flock? So your a bird-stallion? That would explain the feathers and the claws.."
She stopped staring at him for a moment and decided to lay down deeming him trustworthy at least for now. Who knew he might see her face to noways she felt more open to others. She hated having two sides to her it must of been her spirit nature and the ones who changed her.
"Well you know a strange mare with glowing eyes..I might run if i saw myself"
She now smirks under her mask she had all the right to be sarcastic she was normally very cold and let very little info out.
"yes the one i foolishly fell in love with..Of course i love him but i know it wont last..After the foals come i cant bear to stay with him..Even if i love him he knows so little about me and my spirits..I fear the foals may see them to..Of course that wont be for sometime.."
