The Blood Moon Court was a faction based on trust, and with that trust, its members assumed a certain degree of risk. For the ISS, it meant revealing yourself to every other member of the highest ring. For the Mercenaries, it meant revealing your identity to your mentor. It was for this reason that Fallon stood in her bedroom with a member of the BMC, a girl she would not otherwise have invited over. It was a night before patrol. Sailor Lyra had been around for a long time, was a member of the Dream Team, and happened to be the more agreeable of Ares's two recruits from that other group of senshi. When her name had come up as someone needing a mentor to train her in the BMC's ways, Ares had gladly accepted. That night, the two girls had shared a quick dinner cooked by Fallon -- lots of healthy foods for energy -- and they were now putting away the cleaned dishes in the neat racks that Fallon had within her cavernous supply of Tupperware. "Thanks," she said, taking the last dish and putting it in its place. Fallon wiped her hands clean on a crisp white towel and then passed it to the redhead beside her. "We have a bit before sunset still. Would you like some tea? I have mint, jasmine green, a nice peppery oolong..." The teenage was stalling. She wanted to get her mentee in a solid frame of mind before picking her brain on the events that had taken place in Elysion.

Lyra was a member of the Blood Moon court, evidence would be on the front of her ankle if you looked... the small red moon shaped burn mark currently hidden by her white wool socks was their symbol. A symbol she hid while in civilian, but showed through her stockings while in fuku. Though while she was a active member of the court... or tried her best to be anyways. She would come to their call when needed, she would fight when needed, die if needed... but she was still also loyal to her first senshi team. The Dream team, composed of 5 senshi... four supers and one eternal, were one of the oldest teams that she knew about. She had been through it all thick and thin with them. Hell... one of her very team mates was whom recruited her to join the Blood Moon. To see a different angle of things, to be involved in actually making a difference.
Ridding the world of the plague known as the 'negaverse'.
Though all the while... she remained scared of actually killing someone. Injuring someone she can do, breaking ribs? Yup. Near death? Fine. Taking that last bit of someones breath... now to her that's just the ultimate form of violating someone. She just was not capable of that... for now.
Beth was amazed when Fallon had stepped up and agree'd to mentor her. She knew that Ares was Nemesis's mentor as well, so it came as a great shock she was willing to take on two. Beth loved Delphine... but she also knew how much of a handful she could be.
"Oolong or jasmine would be amazing?" She asked, standing in the kitchen wondering if she could somehow help make the tea or if it would be better to sit somewhere. She had never expected to be invited into the leaders home, even if it was just before a patrol. She still felt a bit awkward, Beth just needed to calm down.

Fallon lifted a china tea cup from a rack on her wall. "I have a jasmine oolong that you'd like then," she said, crossing toward her desk to start up the hot water heater. It began bubbling immediately, licking long whips of steam and moisture up the clear jug. The teenager stared at it for just a moment and then turned to face Beth, her face a fraction more serious than it had been before. "Beth," she said, tucking a piece of long cinnamon hair behind one ear. "I hope you know how much I value your opinion, even if it isn't the loudest one." It was clear Fallon was building up to something, but she took her time. "I have a question about your old team, a few of them actually." The hot water bubbled behind her. Fallon busied herself in one of her hyper-organized drawers. She pulled out a stack of inter-locking canisters, undoing them one by one in the same methodical, precise way she did everything. "Pegasus," she said suddenly. "This might seem like I am asking a lot, but... would you tell me everything you know about her? It's just... well, it's necessary. What is going on in Elysion is all tied to her. The more I know about her, both as Helios and as this Pegasus, could be the key to us winning this fight." Her fingers opened a tiny metal basket and she sprinkled some tea leaves inside, plopping it into the china cup. After a moment, Fallon poured the hot water into the cup and then crossed back to Beth, handing it off. She took a seat at the edge of her bed and then waited patiently, giving the other teen time to collect her thoughts. Her nerves were given away by the ticking of her fingers along the edge of her blouse.

Beth had a feeling there might have been a reason for being invited for dinner... she just wasn't sure if this was usual BMC procedure or what. Normally when asked for patrols they would pick a time and immediately go on the hunt, but this time Beth just figured that Fallon had reason to talk with her, she was half right.
Taking the tea she gave a nod of thank you. Blowing on it lightly she cooled it down. Yes she was using it as a stall... but it was also giving her time to collect her thoughts. Should she really be open about it? She DID trust Fallon... she didn't think it would hurt?
"Well." She said, breaking the silence before she leaned forward ad cupped her hands around the mug. "Firstly, i should start with Pegasus is a dear close friend of mine. I have been through a lot with her; I trust her with my life. If she ever needed me, i would back her." She wanted to make sure that ground rule was set before she said anything else. Beth trusted Rea, she meant every word she just said. While loyal to the blood moon.. she was still loyal to her friends.
She waited for a moment, watching the other teenager with a intense and yet...somehow soft gaze. The gaze did not suit Beths face, it was too hard... It looks as if all the months, hell.. YEARS of war were taking its toll on them all.

It was rude to not share a drink with a guest. Fallon knew this. She took the time that Beth spent blowing on her tea and collecting her thoughts to cross back to her desk and fix her own cup. She had just stridden back toward her bed when the redheaded teenager finally responded to her question.
First Delphine and now Beth. What was it about this Pegasus that inspired so much faith and trust from her friends? It was true that the Blood Moon had hoped to recruit the Senshi of Dreams, but both Nemesis and Lyra were skeptical that she would receive them at all. Now to know that her body housed Helios? Fallon nearly laughed. She would not count on Helios ever following a parallel senshi, not after their long history.
A painted nail tapped on the side of her tea cup. She waited for Beth to continue, but the girl had fallen silent. Apparently Fallon was going to have to pull the information out of her. So be it. “Do you know how long she has also been Helios? It’s possible you noticed a change in her, maybe. Some sort of sign. Anything you can tell me could help unlock some mysteries of Elysion.” Or just, you know, help Fallon understand Pegasus better.
Fallon took a dainty sip from her tea cup.

Lyra took another sip from the drink, really enjoying the flavors of the tea. "You make really nice tea..." She noted in, trying not to be rude. It was a attempt to try and lessen the tension but Beth also was stating a fact. This WAS really nice tea, it wasn't often someone knew not to steep tea for too long etc.
"Its not that im hiding information from you, Fallon. As part of the Intelligence side of the Blood moon.. its my job." She just didnt know fallon was interested in pegasus and helios. "To be honest? I.. I dont know how long she has been helios. Back when we formed the team we were all base senshi... and we all seemed to be normal newbies not knowing the hell we were doing. Pegasus too." Another sip, another fidget.
"She just.. one day appeared in my dreams. I thought it was just a dream.. but once she gathered all five of us together, and we ALL remembered it the next morning... we knew it was all true. Soon we all had meetings more this way. She sometimes struggled gathering everyone, or she would say she would see us at a time and she didnt... i think she was having issues controlling these powers. I always assumed it was because she was the senshi of dreams. I only recently found out too she was Helios... and even then? Helios is very...shy i guess you can say? I know no more than you do.. only glimpses and such."
"Right after...Tartaros, Pegasus disappeared for a while. We were worried... but she suddenly resurfaced recently." There wasn't really much more she knew.

"Thank you," Fallon said automatically. She wasn't touching her own tea. Her eyes were fixed on Beth, an inquisitive arch slowly bending into her brow. Sailor Pegasus was someone she had grossly underestimated. Ares respected both Nemesis and Lyra. If they respected this other senshi so much... then perhaps Ares should have focused on recruiting her a long time ago.
But she housed Helios. Hm. Problem.
Crisp violet eyes trained themselves on the shorter girl. Fallon took a seat at the edge of her bed and tried desperately to look less rigid. It didn't work very well. "You are an excellent intelligence officer," she quipped quickly between Beth's words. It was always important to remind her soldiers how much she valued them.
The rest of the information that Beth had to offer was incredibly intoxicating. "Pegasus can get into anyone's head?" she said, words slipping out of her slowly. "Do you have to... let her in? Or can she just bounce from mind to mind, dream to dream?" This was a dangerous talent in an opponent, but an interesting one in an ally. Could Pegasus see into Ares' head? Could she make her way to Beryl's? What were the limits to her reaches?
It occurred to Fallon that she might be pressing Beth too hard. "She must be a force to be reckoned with," she backtracked. "I can understand why you respect her so much." Only then did she sip at the edge of her tea cup.

"Oh no!" She said suddenly with alarm, lifting one hand off her cup into the air in a 'halt' sort of sign language. "From what she told me she needs to know the individuals very well.... she even struggled with us for a while." Pegasus for the longest time would blip out sometimes... sort of like a dial up internet connection. Needed time and concentration to even get a SMALL signal.
"I dont think she can get into the heads of anyone she doesn't know... and i think even then, the individual she links to has to have trust in her as a person. Im not entirely sure how it works." She laughed nervously. 'Its.. actually." She said pausing, looking towards the ceiling to think. "Its sort of like.. Elysium. You know.. when we are there mentally and yet not? It was like that. I do not think she could read minds or anything like that.... i am not sure. All im telling you is what i know about Pegasus... i am not sure when we cross the line into Helios." She wasnt even sure if the dream walking was pegasus or helios... or both of them.
"Shes saved my life before..." She tacked on to the end. Eyes looking back into her cup again. Pegasus also found her when she was wandering... when her mother was killed...
When Lyra was forced to yank that star seed out of that womans chest by the negaverser... Pegasus was there for it all.

Familiarity with the target, hm. So perhaps Fallon's dreams would stay safe so long as she remained a stranger to the Senshi of Dreams? The girl wasn't certain she could keep that promise. After hearing about Pegasus so much and then seeing her in action in Elysion, Fallon felt that more than ever she should make the time to sit down with the vessel for Helios. The timing would have to be right though -- and it wasn't right now, not so soon to Helios feeling his land breached by unwelcome forces.
Fallon nodded along with Beth's words. So even to the friends of Pegasus, Helios was a mystery. Very interesting. "Pegasus sounds like a very noble senshi," Fallon mused. It was a compliment, but it didn't sound like one. On one hand, Fallon was utterly intrigued by the girl who everyone spoke so highly of, but on the other... she was nervous. It would not do for someone housing Helios to make an enemy out of Ares, not now -- not before she had ascended to the full height of her own powers.
A brief silence lapsed between them. There was another subject that Fallon was interested in, one that she could not talk to anyone else about. "Beth," she said suddenly, "have you noticed anything different about Delphine lately?" Her eyes cooled, and she tried to look casual. The last time Fallon had seen Nemesis they had battled in the hours following the first Elysion battle. It had been a stupid thing, but it happened. For a moment, Fallon wondered if Delphine might have mentioned it to Beth.

Beth couldnt help but quirk an eyebrow at the tone of Fallons voice. Was she lost in thought or just..making a generic statement? She thought it was pretty much known how Pegasus was... she was in Elysion fighting along side them the whole time as well. "She is trying her best." Beth completely believed this, and had yet to see otherwise.
The pause between them made the girl practically drink half her cup of tea just from jitters. She was always like this when she was stared at... and she hated to admit it, but Ares could be damn intimidating. Not that she wouldn't give the info anyways, it was just a intense feeling that surrounded the two girls. She felt like she could cut the tension with a knife...
Lost in thoughts, she snapped out of them with a "Huh?" As her name was called. "Oh! Sorry." She tacked on, not wanting to seem like too bad of a space case. Her mind tended to wander in the quiet...
Beth had to admit, it took her a second to remember and realize that it was not unusual for Fallon to know Nemesis's civilian name. Afterall.. they were mentor and mentee as well. "Well.. you see. To be honest? Nemesis is a bit of a mystery to us as well." She gave a short laugh, intended to not be rude but more to emphasize frustration as well. After all this time of knowing her.. they really knew hardly anything about nemesis. "Im sure you have seen it too... she tends to keep to her self a lot. She fights for what she believes in, but she also is a stubborn git. She is a good person deep down if you get behind her shell." She smiled next, a sunshine like smile... it had warmth. "One time she threatened to leave our team for one reason or another... Pegasus and her fought, If Pegasus won Delphine stayed and gave it a chance... if Nemesis won, she would leave. Pegasus won, nemesis was made second in command in our team.. but...from my experience you need to have a firm hand with dealing with nemesis. Power she understands, combat she understands, blood gore and PAIN but, feelings not so much." beth honestly always wondered what nemesis was hiding behind her veil of sarcasm.
"....Sorry for going off on a tangent, i guess you can say... no i don't know what she had been up to lately." She truly didn't.

Fallon held her cup lightly, the handle pinched between painted nails. The weight of the conversation kept making her forget to sip at her own tea. It sat full beneath her chin, a stray leaf floating aimlessly from the bottom to break the amber surface. Everything that Beth said was something that Fallon had known already, save the details about Nemesis battling Pegasus. "Her power is in that relentless assault," the girl mused quietly.
She leaned over to the stand beside her bed and set her tea cup and saucer down. "So... it is normal for her to pull away from her team sometimes? She has a habit of threatening to quit, I see." It comforted Fallon to know that her experience with Delphine was nothing unique. If the Senshi of Decay made a habit of this kind of nihilistic behavior, then perhaps the Blood Moon Court didn't need to fear losing her. She would stay with them just as she insisted on staying with the Dream Team.
...right?
Violet eyes fell to Beth's tea cup. "Would you like more?" she offered, not waiting for a response. Fallon gently took the cup from Beth and crossed back to the desk to refill it. With her back to the girl, she asked, "And what about you, Beth? I feel like we don't know each other so well." Was Fallon going to ask her favorite color? About her family? Perhaps inquire about school? "Are there any Negaverse agents you would especially like to see dead?"
Oh right. She was Ares.

"I think so..honestly i think she says things she does not mean. Once she keeps going she just...cant stop." A laugh. "And then she is too stubborn to admit it." It seemed like Ares knew nemesis well. It was nice to see Ares cared so much about her fellow court members. Hell it was nice to just sit down and talk about things she cant talk about normally.
Having a alter ego sucked, sometimes.
She didn't say anything as the cup was taken away, knowing that she would have lied about not wanting more...she really did want another cup. Standing the teenager followed Fallon, leaning her back against a wall. Just that one simple question did it. Enough to make her even more nervous...fidgety. Lyra respected Fallon, trusted her, but some things she felt... some things that have happened recently, she did not feel inclined to talk about. With anyone. Ares might sign her off as a traitor, if she knew she was conversing with a negaverse agent about 'morals'.
Though her next question, she met with enthusiasm.
".... The b*****d who killed my mother." She glared down at the floor. Scheelite.. the captain whom chose to kill her mom, and plagued her since. He had broken her bones a few times... hell, he enjoyed carnage. "He is a unstable berserker whom enjoys nothing more than hunting me down and plaguing me with his very being. I have yet to kill him, he is strong."
"His... i dont know the hell to call him, parner? Team mate? shadow? Is a bit of a plague as well." Of course she meant Zinkenite... but she was not so sure if she wanted him dead. Would removing Zink from the equation remove the pain in her heart?
maybe.

It gave Fallon an incredible amount of comfort to know that Delphine treated everyone this way. After their last fight -- a bit more literal than most of the ones before -- the senshi had worried that she had pushed the talented Super Sailor too far. Apparently she wasn't the first to put pressure on the girl, pressure which reacted to with negativity.
It was perhaps more interesting to hear the Negaverse Hit List that Beth had in mind. Fallon loved hearing about Negas who other Blood Moon senshi wanted to kill. "I'm sorry for your loss," she said, a kneejerk reaction to the obvious grief radiating out from Beth. "But we will kill them both, for you. What are their names? Weapons? Are they in that White Moon database... thing?" Fallon was bad with technology, and Ares was worse. Her only portal into the White Moon world was through those who let her take a peek at their senshiphones.
But if it would make Beth feel better, Fallon was happy to help lead the charge against her Hit List.

"There are entries for both of them on the white moon database." Hell, beth was the one whom put them there. They were well acquainted with each other after all. "One of them i am all for wiping off the face of this planet." She narrowed her eyes, anger pouring out of every pore of her being. She really loathed the captain. She had known him for about a year now, and each time she tried to kill him she just..couldn't do it. It was not in her person to kill things... yet. "Captain Scheelite... Tall... blond hair... electric guitar as a weapon. Oh and a loud a** mouth and prone to aim for the face. I know that last part quite well. " She had many a bruise from his face punching tendencies. "He has been my target for some time now."
Shifting a little she still leaned against the wall, but she took the tea back with another nod of thanks once the tea was ready.
"The other... i met him a few times just him. Only much later did i find out that he and Scheelite were close, really close." She wasn't too happy to find out this one particular negaverser was with her enemy. He was the one whom was playing with her mind. "Zinkenite... Though. I am not certain if we want him to be killed." Beth paused, choosing her next words carefully.
"I think he might be useful. He is a thinker.. not really much of a fighter. But... he seems willing to give and trade information. Not that i have, but from experience..." It would be like making a deal with a rattle snake... one false move and it will bite, but given enough information you could learn how to get around it. Or become a snake killer.

Scheelite -- a guitar, tall, blond. Wait, a guitar. "Scheelite killed a senshi when we first met in Elysion," she said coolly. "Beat her head in with his guitar before anyone could save her. I saw him standing over her afterward." The sailor had not been one of their own, but it was still a tragic loss. It was Ares' secret goal that they would kill ten Negas for every single senshi soul lost in this war.
She was still working on it.
The second name gave Fallon considerable pause. She was familiar with this senshi, had learned his name from the White Moon database months ago. "The one who some believe has one of the Rainbow Crystals. I have met him." Magenta eyes dropped slowly to the tea in her hands. "There can be no negotiation with a Nega, only death. If we keep him alive, it will simply be so that we might extract his crystal, should he prove to still have it."
A painted nail tapped thoughtfully against the side of her tea cup. "But if we can get information out of Zinkenite in the process of killing him... well, all the better." Only then did Fallon drink from her cup, eyes still locked in a pensive trance.
"Beth, your enemies are my enemies -- and our enemies," she said at last. "We are in this together. I don't want you to ever forget that. I will pursue your two Captains as certainly as I plan to pursue Tanzanite." Something struck her suddenly: "When you say Zinkenite and Scheelite are really close, what did you mean?" If they were good friends or even siblings, it could be extremely useful tactical knowledge.
