Out in the middle of the school commons, in an area that was well lit and actually sweltering with heat from the additional lamps that had been brought out to further illuminate the massive stage, stood the area for the auction.

( Did we say "stage"? We meant "tables from the cafeteria all lined up and covered with the cleanest thing that Chuppi could find at the time. Ignore the stains please". Also by lamps we meant "please don't tell the botany teacher the heating lamps are missing, Chuppi swears they'll get put back OwO!!!" )

Large banners written in the gaudiest, most terrifying colors ever decorated the stage and surrounding area, their signs very neat and organized. There was even a board near the stage with a bunch of stuff written on it, not that Chuppi believed anyone would read anything. The students here knew what they wanted, knew what they were getting in to.

At least the bidders anyway. Chuppi wasn't so sure half the people who were in the auction knew what the heck was going on, but she did think they'd come anyway since they were curious. At the very least this was going to be interesting.

Maybe. Hopefully.

Chuppi prayed to the Pumpkin King that nothing bad happened and she didn't end up getting eaten. That would not go well. Or, if she did get eaten, she prayed they got the worse case of the runs ever. That sorta made her smile.

What made her smile even more was a gnome had volunteered to be the MC for the event! He'd promised to make the night one to remember, so Chuppi was excited about that. At least now she wouldn't have to announce everything. . . .

Alwine's favorite colors were blue and green. Why, then, why was she dressed in pink? It wasn't just any pink, either. It was fluorescent, with black fringe dangling off of the edges. It would've been horribly skimpy if the haunt didn't have her bandages on.

"Oh my... there are lots of people here..." Alwine looked around before offering a small wave to the audience. "I'm sorry for bothering you all, but... well, it's for a good cause?"

Rosciel walked towards where the date auctions were taking place. It seemed like an absurd practice, it was... It was rather disgraceful. And worse, he counted at least five demons on the lineup, Sin and her friend Alcie included. He paused to take his jacket off, slipping his wings carefully through holes in the back and draping it casually over one shoulder. It was too hot to keep it on, which happened sometimes.

He frowned at something that caught his eye off to one side.
Upon closer inspection, it was a purse full of seeds that would come in handy in this auction. Selfish as he was, he did feel a little bad about it, and looked through it trying to find something he could identify the owner with.
Even if he used the seeds, at the least he could give the purse back to its owner.
Besides the seeds, he found a handkerchief and a small card. He focused his vision enough to see the card read... "Lucky 13"? And he could see initials on the handkerchief. S.E.

"Oh, miss Sin, I think you lost your purse," he all but purred under his breath and added her seeds to the ones in his bag before placing her purse into one of the inside pockets of his coat.

A familiar click-click-click of heels on floor awarded the room with the entrance of the nekogami, his green eyes glowing with curiousity as he made his way closer to the bidding tables, having seen something earlier about some kind of Scarentines Day auction. A sucker for these events, he had scrounged up whateve rhe could find randomly laying around his room, (not much, but then again, Jack was a man of neccessity. . .)

Seeing everyone on the block was almost comical, but interesting regardless, their bright colours flashing, gaudy designs flairing around, as if to call to the people who were bidding. Flashing a glance, he noticed a very familiar headless lady, looking around (wasn't she?) as the bidding and the announcing was piping up. It called to him, and standing forward, he cleared his throat and softly, following suit after Chuppi, his arm sailing into the air softly.

It wasn't much, but it would do, right?

While he was blinded, Jericho was rather antsy as he really had no clue what Riley was dragging him into. All the questions he had asked her were being dismissed, which really didn't help. When the blindfold was finally removed, he blinked and stared at the getup.

Furrowing his brow as he was trying to see what this meant, he looked to Riley with widened eyes.

"What?" He asked with a frown, "I'm not spending my seeds to get a date."

Rosc joined the other bidding students (Or student, 'cause so far it was just the cat demon he had seen at the ghouls' party... and someone who looked like she might be a part of the auction, not exactly bidding on it) and would have blinked when he saw the outfits everyone was wearing. That poor headless ghoul looked... well he couldn't really tell anything but her body-language, but she did seem a little uncomfortable. And... And what in Jack's name was Sin wearing?? That did not look like a dress at all, not from what he could tell.

Way out of hand, indeed.
His hand rose casually into the air.
