Origin & Reason for Creation
Oleander was created by her programer Kira two years before she joined CoreTech. Originally she was used to shield and defend Kira's famous virtual gaming platform from hackers. As Kira graduated college and became employed at CoreTech she decided to use Oleander to defend CoreTech instead. Currently Oleander is a Stage One AV and training to make something of herself.
History
The gaming platform that Oleander "grew up" in was a beautiful world, full of amazing sights and creatures. Oleander became sentiant while being part of the games protection shield that kept the hackers from infiltrating and stealing the coding secrets. She quickly became entranced by the beauty that Kira's virtual world provided and it shaped her to not only love all things beautiful but to fiercely protect them. Since being transfered to CoreTech she has struggled to get use to the environment, her home in Kira's game was bright and exciting. While core tech was definatly exciting it was in a completly different way and she still missed the beauty of her old home.
Personality
While seemingly friendly, ditzy and harmless Oleander is a fierce protector and has the potential to become an intregal part of her team. Oleander's namesake came from her programmers favorite plant that still to this day grows on the terrace of her apartment. Oleander is a beautiful plant that creates a great fence to hide from the neighbors and a protects your home from harsh winds, but if you were to snap a twig off of one of these bushes you would find a milky substance that when ingested or absorbed is lethal. Oleander is does an excelent job protecting the system shes guarding and if the malware get to close she can be deadly.
The virtual gaming world that shaped Oleander made her know what beauty is in an early stage in her sentiant development. The result is a program that loves fashion, art and anything that brings beauty into the world. If Oleander attended highschool you would probably see her sitting with the other "beautiful people" at a popular table. Her friendly disposition gives her the social edge of making friends easily and easily liked by those who don't know her well
