The neon colored colt ambled along the open plains feeling really good. Then again he always felt really good because he held himself so high up that everyone else was about 100 feet below his standards. He was a bit arrogant for his age and a prima donna, but who wouldn’t be if they looked the way he looked. He was stunning and he knew it 100 times over. He knew his mother and father were proud of him. He wasn’t sure about his sisters, but he got some really good genes from the both of them. A small smile crept on his lips and he gave a light snort from the cold that entered his muzzle. He had nothing to do and he didn’t like having nothing to do. He would rather be posing as people gave him compliments, but sadly he couldn’t stand around all day like that. He would get fat! Who would want to be near a fat Soq? He knew he wouldn’t.

This didn’t make him mean or evil right? How could he be evil? He always cared about others as long as they cared enough to repeatedly say how great he was. He just wouldn't be able to stand being near someone who didn't tell him that. Sighing at the thoughts of someone not telling him how perfect he was, he looked away at the sun that was lowering very slowly. He didn't know whether he should make his way back to his mother and father or just wander some more. He was use to wandering even though he just was released from his basket. He was perfect after all. How wouldn't he be able to do something so simple?

"What a beautiful day it was...the way the sun beamed off my gorgeous pelt and danced around with all the colors. I wish it wouldn't end." He said to himself and was a little put down that there was no river or lake around so that he could take a look at himself. He was a bit too obsessed with how he looked. Even his hair couldn't be messed up or he would freak out. He would probably either start crying or lose it. Either way it was annoying for the other person. Flicking his tail once more, he walked over to a lonely patch of snow and poked at it with his hoof. Being bored was never fun.

Glowing blue eyes carefully scanned the world of white and green as the setting sun shadowed the whites in mixed of oranges, pinks and purples. Soon the world would be covered and black and then then those whom rose with the setting sun would have their full advantage, a certain colt being no exception to that fact. Some ruled the morning glow, others ruled the jaded night, and if those whom ruled the morning stayed out at night then they would pay, most with their life.

While the sun was not yet completely set Quarantine was still up and about. He had made a point to get out as early as he could, and get as far from his family as he could so that he could have the night to himself instead of being in the company of his psychotic brother, equally mad adoptive mother, and his angry adoptive father. What a typical kalona family he had.

With a growl that could resemble that of a raptor, the kalona colt quietly made his way along the frostbitten ground. Even if the snow was melting to make way for spring, a time he looked forward to so he could practice his skills on some helpless baby meal tickets, at times he could swear the ground was still frozen solid from the still cool air.

"Now now now...." Quarantine grinned as he saw a figure of black and neon colors. "I would think a fish would know not to stray far from water, but then again most fish are idiots anyway."

Razzi blinked at the male kalona that made their presence known by a rude comment. He had never met one and didn't want first impressions to tear him away from getting to know the species at least. He turned around and looked at the colt with a wide smile. No matter what was said about him his mood never faltered. He was happy mostly all the time and knew he was the best. How couldn't anyone know he was the greatest colt around? He walked over to the colt and snorted lightly. He was ready to make a friend or an enemy, but hopefully it was a friend.

"Hello! I'm Razzi for short, but my full name is Paparazzi!" He said to the colt excitedly with a slight pose and bounce in his step. "What is your name creepy boy?" He grinned before nudging the kalona very lightly. He wasn't really afraid as he was curious. If he was bit or snapped at then he might back off some, but he was just trying to make a friend.

"I'm kelpi and regular. Aren't I cool looking?" He asked the kalona with a flick of his tail before grinning widely once more. "Also...I'm not an idiot..I heard you and your wrong to judge someone when you don't even know them!" He giggled and nudged the kalona again before wiggling his tail in his face.

Well the colt was hoping to find some sort of entertainment for the day, and it looked like life was going to be nice and just place it on a silver platter for him to take. However, of all the sources of amusement why hand him a colt that seemed to be off his rocker and high off some sort of herb?

'Ha, at least he might end up making good practice for something, especially if he doesn't stop touching me and getting in my face...'

Holding off his anger, for now, Quarantine just shook his head and gave a snort as he folded his wings against his side. Slowly, like a lion on the prowl, he started to circle the other colt.

"And why shouldn't I have freedom to judge, huh?" He gave a slight glare. "I mean it is only fair right, if you can call me creepy, then I should be able to call you an idiot, right? Or maybe idiot is not really the word I should be looking for. Maybe you are more...hm, big headed? You do seem to have quite an ego on your shoulder, but even that seems to share a link to being an idiot at times, that is, unless you want to prove me wrong 'pretty boy'..."

The colorful colt eyed the kalona with a slight amused look on his face. He had to admit that he didn't think this kalona was going to be any fun at first, but he was beginning to amuse him a great deal.

"Why should you judge someone when you don't know them? Hmm? Maybe if you get to know someone before judging then you will find out that in fact they aren't how you judged them in the first place. Right?" He said wiggling his tail a bit behind him. "Hmmm your right, but how about this..." He said as he nudged him in the side only slightly. He didn't want to get on his dinner list after all. "How about we start over again eh? I mean it's only fair." He told him before hearing his last comment making him grin widely.

"Pretty boy? Really~" He swooned a bit before giggling some. "Oh your on. I know I can take on anything you throw at me. Though it's sad I can't think of a good nickname for you." He frowned and flicked his tail once more behind him.
