Combat Styles! The tool of the hard working individuals!
Physical arts mastered through tempered hard work, determination, and sweat. Most users of hand-to-hand are greatly physically fit, but there are individuals capable of using their odd shapes and forms to better their Hand-to-Hand game.

Below is a listing of Combat Styles you are able to learn within our fine guild!
Just remember, your [ Class ] dictates how many Combat Styles you are able to learn, so go check to see what that number is!

___S t a g e s

Unlike Force & None-Force technqiyes, Hand-to-Hand techniques are separated by [ Stages ].
Simply put- a stage is a limitation placed on one or more techniques to prevent someone from learning high end Taijutsu before the lower ones.
Those who wish to learn a combat style start at the very first stage (stage one) and proceed by learning all techniques within that set stage.
After doing so, they are able to move up to the next stage, which- as one would think -contains stronger techniques to learn.

• Padawan/ Apprentice cannot go above [ Stage Four ] in any one Style.
○ Knight cannot go above [ Stage Five ] in any one Style.
___( However, whence the Master rank has been reached, this limitation is removed. )
• There should always be no more, and no less, than six stages in a single style.

___V a r i a t i o n s

Combat techniques come in two variations- Simple and Complex.
They are two very bland yet very important terms.
___Simple: Hand-to-hand techniques that do not require energy.
___Complex: Hand-to-hand techniques that require energy.

The Elegant Art
Pi Qua Quan

User Image

___Description:
Pi Qua Quan, among all styles of combat , involves the most movements. Mainly, it emphasizes mid to long range attacks, in which the opponent is confused by the attacker’s constant motion. It is named from the movement of the hands during an offensive: the downward movement of the hand is referred to as “pi“, while the upward movement is referred to as “qua“. As the name suggests, Pi Qua Quan is the circular motion of the hand, much like a windmill; a fist is seldom used. Instead, much of the offensive comes from hands relaxed with fingers extended, being used in a manner resembling a whip. The moves are full of beauty, yet the offenses are sharp and heavy.

In Pi Qua Quan the moves are smooth and flexible. It demands the greatest degree of flexibility in any known style of combat, for the user must learn to move gracefully and without the stiffness of many forms of combat possess. However, while the style is quite fast and fluid, it does lack the raw power of some other combat styles; as such every hit has to count. As a result, over the years countering has become a fundamental aspect of the style, and it has indeed become so recognized as a part of the style that many have expressed a great fear of attacking a user of Pi Qua Quan for fear of their devastating counters. As a result of this focus on countering, the style has evolved over time to incorporate chakra control to improve the users reflexes, better equipping them to counter attacks, making it easily the most formidable and most prominent combat style in the jedi temple.

___Notes:
• As the practitioner progresses in stages, they become more flexible.

___S t a g e O n e [1]
Seiryu Kasho
Simple :: E-Ranked
A simple move done will facing away from the opponent. When the opponent is close. The user begins the move by starting to spin on one foot while at the same time swinging their arms downward in front of them, using the momentum from the spin to bring their arms up such that their hands strike the opponent typically below the chin making for a strong blow that is difficult to defend against.

Bokuho
Simple :: E-Ranked
A basic stance that takes advantage of the user’s flexibility; the user crouches down with one leg bent, the other extended slightly. The arms are held out wide and outstretched high above their head, but loose and relaxed at the same time. This allows for the user to be able to target any part of the opponent’s body, whether it be their head or their feet.

___S t a g e T w o [2]
Fukanro
Simple :: D-Ranked
Catching the opponents kick, the user holds it high while bending down low to quickly grab the opponent’s other foot, and in one swift movement they wrench the opponents other foot up high while pushing the other down low, the movement typically taking the opponent clear off the ground, causing them to spin in mid air before collapsing on the ground. Though this counter is not particularly damaging, it can provide an opening for additional attacks, making it quite useful in the right hands.

Teishitsu-Jouhai-Sho
Simple :: D-Ranked
A move performed while the user is facing the enemy. Bending down slightly, the user executes a perfect 360 degree spin, striking upwards as they do so resulting in a powerful uppercut that, at higher levels, can easily lift an opponent off the ground.

___S t a g e T h r e e [3]
Kasui-Sho
Simple :: C-Ranked
When an opponent attempts to kick the user while in their Bokuho stance, the user slides extended leg forward while crossing their arms over their head to defend against the kick. With the opponent’s leg pressed against their arms, the user then swiftly pushes his or her self upward, forcing the opponent’s leg high upwards, and sweeps their other foot through the opponent’s other leg, causing them to fall onto their back or neck. This is typically followed with a sharp kick to a vital area and can be devastating against ill-prepared opponents.

___S t a g e F o u r [4]
Tenshin-Bansa
Simple :: B-Ranked
A deceptively simple counter, in which the user catches the opponent’s punch with both hands, then pulls the opponent forward and turns such that they are behind the opponent. The user then leans forward, forcing the opponent to the ground while still holding onto their arm, typically resulting in the arm breaking, or being dislocated at least.

Koran
Simple :: B-Ranked
Another quite simple but powerful move. Quickly catching an opponents kick, the user immediately lashes out with a kick of their own to the opponents groin, and stepping forward as they do that, they finish it off with a kick to the opponents other foot, typically leaving them face down on the ground struggling to stand.

___S t a g e F i v e [5]
Uryu-Banda
Simple :: B-Ranked
One of Pi Qua Quan’s signature moves, it is essentially a very fast spin in which both the users body and their arms spin rapidly, though their arms are focused in one direction making them appear much like the sails on a windmill. The speed and fluidity of this move is easily the most impressive part, and due to the swiftness with which the move can be started it is a very dangerous move to anyone foolish enough to get too close. Lastly, the move provides an ideal opportunity to move into the Bokuho stance, allowing the user to press the offensive further afterward.

___S t a g e S i x [6]
Hebi Taba
Simple :: Rank A
One of the few submission techniques of Pi Qua Quan.
The user will attempt to wrangle themself around their opponent in anyway possible. Abusing their flexibility, they will perform various constricting holds on the opponent's vital limbs. Even a few moments of being within the grip of an expert of Pi Qua Quan can be lethal.

Muay Thai
My entire body is a dangerous and deadly weapon

User Image

___Description:
The word muay derives from the Sanskrit mavya which means "to bind together". Muay Thai is referred to as the "Art of Eight Limbs" or the "Science of Eight Limbs" because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight "points of contact", as opposed to "two points" (fists) in boxing and "four points" (hands and feet) used in other more regulated combat sports, such as kickboxing, boxing, and savate. A practitioner of Muay Thai is known as a Nak Muay. Western practitioners are sometimes called Nak Muay Farang, meaning "foreign boxer."

Users of this combat style are known for their almost mechanical, fast stage of movements that are need to perform each attack. They are also well known for their great physical toughness due to the body conditioning of the style. Many Jedi enjoy this combat style because it always has the user moving and has a very defined base. Sith that uses this skill channel all their hate, anger, and fear into this making it a very strong combat style for them. For other individuals, this combat style if learned will be helpful when the times calls for hand to hand combat.

•For every stage learned in this style, the user's lower body speed increases
•For every two stages learned in this style, The users body hardens through the impact conditioning of the techniques, and is able to both strike harder objects and surfaces without fear of injury, and slightly more resistant to damage.
___Restrictions:
• Users cannot be frail bodied, asthmatic, or have any other physical condition that would cause them to be easily injured
• Users are limited to certain moves while wearing heavy armor
• before training in any moves of the style, users must spend 5 post traiing the stance mechanics of the style. One hand forward and one back, feet matching and just over shoulder width apart.

___S t a g e O n e [1]

Jab
Simple :: Rank E
the user unleashes a simple front hand jab while taking a small step with the front foot. fast, but not very powerful.
• often used as a distraction

Straight
Simple :: Rank E
the user punches with the back hand directly at the desired target. pivoting and stepping with the back foot. The punch is slower than a jab, but much more powerful
• often set up with the jab

Direct Roundhouse
Simple :: Rank E
The user swings his back leg like a baseball bat, and targets his opponents side, leg or head. a very powerful kick that is capable of ending fights

One Side Windmill
Complex :: Rank E
The use combines the jab, straight, and direct roundhouse into a powerful combination. some argue the perfect combination when properly applied

___S t a g e T w o [2]

Quick Elbow
Simple :: Rank D
the user in very similar fashion to a jab, throws an elbow instead, causing more damage but at the cost of reach
• All elbow techniques are limited to 3/4 of ones reach

Back Arm Elbow
Simple :: Rank D
A more powerful, but slightly slower elbow similar in mechanics to the straight punch

Straight Knee
Simple :: Rank D
a hard knee strike, capable of causing sever injury, and can be thrown with either knee. speed and power balances remain the same for front and back knees
• knees require extremely close, or "Clinch" range fighting, similar to elbows

clinch combo
Complex :: Rank D
The user grasp his opponent by the back of the head, neck, or shoulders with both hands and jerks them off balance whil throwing two to three knee strikes, and finishing with a powerful elbow to the head.
• If the first strike hits, it is highly unlikely the rest of the combination will miss

___S t a g e T h r e e [3]
Hook Punch
Simple :: Rank C
this strong punch is thrown by the same mechanics at a jab, but half way through the punch the hand shoots out to the side, instead coming in in a hook shaped motion. It is a very powerful punch, and because the user strikes with the fist set of knuckles, it easily causes facial cuts.
• Is usually accompanied with a step to the side of the striking hand.

Front Kick
Simple :: Rank C
a powerful linear kick thrown to the front of the body. This "door breaker" or "spartan kick", can easily knock a man to the ground, or knock him out if placed into the jaw or sternum.

Bob and Weave
Simple :: Rank C Practice
Through sparing and footwork training, The Nak Muay's ability to dip duck and dodge in melee is increased

The Windmill
Complex :: Rank C
unleashing a flurry of strikes The user lashes out with either a jab and straight or two elbows, follows with a kick or knee, and then two more punches/ elbows and another kick. The combination is too many strikes for all but the most skilled of fighters to block.

___S t a g e F o u r [4]
Whip Roundhouse
Simple :: Rank B
The user executes a roundhouse kick, but instead of making a direct contact, takes the leg high and whips it down into his target. This strikes with greater force, and at a different angle than a regular roundhouse.

Sidekick
placing the back foots heel towards the target, the user chambers his leg high and lashes out to the side with impressive force. Possibly the most powerful standard maneuver in human martial arts, this kick breaks ribs and deflates lungs.

Thai Block
Simple :: Rank B
The user's body, now hardened from training, now uses the hard points of the body, and angular deflection to block incoming attacks. The palms, elbow, shins, and feet can all be used to block different strikes.

Thai Foot Sweep
Complex :: Rank B
The user capitalizes on impressive foot speed, and weight distribution to sweep a opponents legs from under them with a well placed kick. This can be used offensively by giving the target a shove or bump to alter weight distribution, or defensively by capitalizing on a attackers steps
• Use whenever a opponent shifts weight, or force the weight to shift

___S t a g e F i v e [5]
Flying Knee
Simple :: Rank A
The user launches himself at his opponent, and pistons a knee up for a powerful blow, This attack carries all the force of the knee, along with all the users weight. Blocking is ill advised.
• opponent's attempting to use a block on this strike may prevent impact of the knee, but must be about 150 pounds heavier than the attacker or use a S ranked defense to keep from being knocked down
• All techniques designated "Flying" cannot be used in heavy armor.

Striking Position
Simple :: Rank A practice
By using knowledge of anatomic physics turned to reflex, the Nak Muay can now forgo causing any real damage in a strike to instead manipulate the body positioning of a opponent. kicking a leg to throw a stance wide, or punching the forehead to tilt the chin up. These strikes set up brutal finishes
• The strike must still land to generate the effect
•Successful use of this technique disrupts the opponents stance benifits for one post.

Smashing Elephant Demolishes Rock
Simple :: Rank A
The user drops his weight down with a hard step, breaking a opponents grapple, or guard open with both of his hands, and follows this booming step with a hard backwards elbow to the sternum, solar plexis, neck, or jaw. causing devastating damage and making a opponent pay for his closeness
•Must be used to counter grappling techniques or a defensive stance at extremely close range

Flying Thai
Complex :: Rank A
adapted from the iconic stance of a Muay Thai fighter, This move is stunningly effective. The user launches himself at his opponent, and simultaneously crashes a elbow down on the targets head or neck area while aslo throwing a flying knee. Both strikes alone have the capacity to cause sever damage, but the combination of the two makes this move near impossible to block
• defenders must use a A rank or higher defense and be at least 50 pounds heavier that there opponent to block this attack and avoid being knocked down.

___S t a g e S i x [6]
Jao Nak Muay
Simple :: Rank S practice
A true Muay Thai master executes even his simplest strikes at top efficiency. All striking techniques under stage four are upgraded to B rank
• increased rank means increased, power, speed, efficiency and accuracy

Front Leg Roundhouse
Simple :: Rank S
one of the most difficult techniques to master, though simple in method, the user executes a cobra strike front leg version of the roundhouse kick. Striking much faster, while only losing a little power.

Hard Body Style
Simple :: Rank S practice
Through intense body conditioning, and extreme practice of technique, the Nak Mauy shows no fear in stiking hard objects made of wood, metal, or any other hard material, often damaging the object. Armored opponents will quickly learn to fear your fist despite of there protection.
• Wood can be smashed and steel/polymer bent and shttered, but powerful metals such a beskar can only be moved.

Crushing Elephant Charge
Complex :: Rank S
A even more advanced version of the Flying series, this maneuver causes extreme damage, and when used against a opponent anywhere near human, is unblockable. The User launches himself at his opponent and attacks with both knees, while simultaneously attacking both sides of the neck or head with two downward crashing elbows.
• S rank defense along with a 200 pound advantage is required to block and avoid being knocked down and being struck by at least one attack.

Scarlet Beast
Let your instincts take over

User Image

___Description:
A combat techniques that was created by a group of wolf-men on a planet close to Wyrren Prime. This style mainly used by those that have claws and fangs relies on their instincts to assist them in battle. It is almost as if one would turn in to a beast unable to stop their attacks until their target no longer moving or the target is dead. The wolf-men that created this use it mainly for hunting and when fighting with rival tribes upon their planet. But because of both a sith and jedi master the style has become to slowly spread round the temples.

Other can use this combat style. they would simply use means if a jedi or sith such as enchanting their hands with the force to get the claw affect of the cutting. While individuals with that are just above normal human capabilites would use weapons such as iron or vibroclaws. It can be done barehanded with no weapons or enchantment, but it is not recommended.

Sazanami
Using your enemy's power against them

User Image

___Description:
The Sazanami (Ripples on Water) style uses the opponent’s attacks to do damage to any attackers, dictating the flow of battle with the back-and-forth movements that throw the enemy off balance and mold around the attacks. The style was formed when swordsmen and traditional fighters came together to learn each other’s ways, and has since been passed down undiluted by time. Many of the moves can also be executed with a sword or other bladed weapon without changing the move much, and as such the fighter often uses a bladed when executing this style’s movements.

“Finesse” refers to the ability to execute movements without excess damage, as in fine-point striking. It’s like having two thin boards of wood, one on top of the other with a small space in between, and striking it so that only the top board breaks. Another variation of this is hitting a cinder block placed on another one, and only breaking the lower one.

___Notes:
• Training is usually done in attempts to learn each level’s footing.

___S t a g e O n e [1]
Footing one
Simple :: E Rank
The first stance taught, the standing stance. The user places his/her feet, while standing casually, a small distance apart to provide extra stability when facing an opponent.

Parry
Simple :: E Rank
A simple deflection of incoming techniques using either the hands or weaponry. While it does not change the direction of an attack entirely, the technique changes the direction enough for it to miss the user and sets up for a counterattack.

___S t a g e T w o [2]
Footing Two: Horse Stance
Simple :: D Rank
The user places his/her feet at about one shoulder’s width apart and sinks down by bending the knees, sinking until they could be sitting on a bench and their height would not change, all the while keeping the back straight. Used mainly for training purposes.

Bell Ring
Simple :: D Rank
Having mastered enough finesse not to move the shell of a bell, and yet still ring it with one strike, the user uses this skill to strike the opponent. This strike, aimed at the chest area, causes pain and the feeling of not being able to breathe in the opponent that lasts for a short while. (About two posts.)
• Must be unarmed

___S t a g e T h r e e [3]
Sweeping Strike
Simple ::C Rank
The user steps in to an attack, gently redirecting it with their forward hand or with a weapon in the same hand. After the strike has been deflected, the user thrusts his/her palm upward in to the opponent’s jaw, causing dizziness and disorientation in the opponent. The second attack must be unarmed.

Half-Step
Simple :: C Rank
A very short step in one direction that is used to dodge incoming blows and set up for a counterattack. The range of movement cannot be more than two feet, but if used correctly, this range can serve as more than enough to avoid most Taijutsu attacks.

Spin Step
Simple :: C Rank
This footwork is a fluid spinning movement that sets up and reinforces the offensive techniques of the style. While it adds power, this technique is not necessarily fast, and as such cannot be used without some prior setup.

Attack Redirection: Upper Body
Simple :: C Rank
Requirements: Reinforced Elbow Strike learned.
The user sidesteps a straight attack (Punch, lunge, etc.) by the opponent and grabs the outstretched limb before momentum is lost, pivoting to keep the movement going by yanking the limb in the direction that it was sent in. This sets the opponent greatly off balance, and possibly sends them sprawling on to the ground.

___S t a g e F o u r [4]
Attack Redirection: Lower Body
Simple :: B Rank
The user, similarly to the Upper Body Redirection, sidesteps the opponent’s attack when he/she is attacking with the legs or some part thereof. This time, however, the user steps quickly towards the opponent while evading the attack, then grabs the offending leg and pivots, throwing the enemy towards the ground after setting them greatly off balance. This technique is often augmented with an offensive technique to increase effectiveness.

Hummingbird’s Flight
Simple :: B Rank
The user, after practicing with many forms of throwing weapons, gains the ability to throw any weapon, regardless of size, with almost perfect accuracy over a very large range. While this does not compensate for any movement on the part of the opponent, the user can now create effective distractions that he/she can use to maneuver the opponent, or can even incapacitate the target.

Cross Split
Simple :: B Rank
A two-part attack that ends in the snapping of an opponent’s bone, causing great pain and the loss of usage of the limb until it is healed by a medic. In the first part of the movement, the user blocks an incoming attack and grabs on to the limb. In the second part, the user brings in a strike from the opposite direction and strikes further down along the bone. The force snaps the bone at that particular point. If performed with weaponry, this technique can be used to break an opponent’s weapon or to disarm him/her.

Third Footing (Back Stance)
Simple :: B Rank
The user stands with his/her feet around three feet apart, the user’s non-dominant side toward the opponent and far away from him/her and the dominant side closer to the core of his/her body. This stance is intended to provide power to strikes and make throws much easier, though it is slower than other stances.

Flat Step
Simple :: B Rank
A long, quick step used to get around attacks and set up for a highly effective counterattack. The technique is used without lifting up either foot more than a few inches off of the ground, so it is not very feasible for usage on extremely uneven ground. This technique is faster than the Half-Step, but has a higher range of one to two meters.

Sword Drawing Skill
Simple :: B Rank
Similar to a movement taught in Iaido, the user moves his/her hand across the body in a movement so quick that it is difficult to see. This technique will crack bones and can be used in place of a traditional blocking technique. If used with a sword or other blade, the user will draw the weapon out of its sheath and carry the strike across the body, making this move a great offensive attack, as the blade slices through most things in front of the user up to the end of the blade, and then stirs up the air to kick up small particles to hopefully blind the opponent. Can be used to set up a combo, but it is very difficult to go from this technique directly in to a defensive position.

___S t a g e F i v e [5]
Fourth Footing (Cat Stance)
Simple :: A Rank
A very fast, agile, and coordinated stance that nevertheless lacks balance. The Cat Stance, starting from the Back Stance, is assumed by drawing the forward foot in so that it is very close to the backward foot and raising its heel from the ground, focusing weight on the back foot. Once successfully in the stance, the user’s back should be straight. From this stance it is very easy to go in to any movement in most Taijutsu and Bukijutsu Styles, and footwork is exceptionally fast. While this is the most difficult of the stances to learn, it is considered one of the most effective.

River Flow
Simple :: A Rank
After evading an incoming attack using the Spin Step, the user counters with an exceptionally powerful kick to an opponent’s side or head. This counterattack carries with it enough force to shatter bones and can do serious damage to armor. In addition to this, the technique can slip through techniques meant to pinch it and hold it in place. River flow can be used more than once in quick succession without straining the body.

Hawk Dive
Simple :: A Rank
A technique that allows the user to bounce one projectile off of another object, including other projectiles, to reach places that were otherwise unreachable through standard means and to confuse an opponent. Through this, the user can also return the opponent’s thrown weapons back to the opponent.

___S t a g e S i x [6]
Palm of Heaven
Complex :: S Rank
The user strikes the air in the direction of the opponent using an open palm strike, a harmless-looking move. The air, however, carries the force quickly, and if the enemy is hit with this technique it is as if the user has struck them up close and with all of the force of a regular hit. Can only be used unarmed.

Rising Star
Simple :: S Rank
After dodging an incoming attack, the user throws the attacker, not to the ground, but in to the air. This technique can be used on most attacks, and is usually followed up with Falling Star.

Falling Star
Simple :: S Rank
A technique consisting of a single kick or palm strike to the upper body that crushes the bones of the opponent and causes the muscles in the entirety of the upper body to seize, preventing the target’s escape if he/she is even conscious after the fact. Can be executed on ground, in the air, or underwater, but can only be used once per fight. This attack cannot be dodged by an opponent more than one rank under the user’s rank, and can penetrate armor without significantly weakening.

Ripples on the Water
Simple :: S Rank
A series of very fine strikes that cause no visible damage, but lock joints and prevent the escape of the opponent by slowing them to a near standstill. After the joints unlock, all movements still cause a great deal of pain until the affected rests out of battle or is healed.

Strong Arm Grappling
"Street Brawling is an art to itself. How about I paint these walls with you?"

User Image

___Description:
A strong, yet unorthodox way of combat. This combination of anchient wrestling techniques, jujitsu, Shootboxing, and other grappling arts mixes locks, holds,and pins with devestating strikes to take a opponet to the ground and beat him into submition. In the hands of a Jedi, Grey, or sith this style combined with energy from the force can be devastating on an opponents body.

This style was made to dominate the ground, and it is by no means a kind way of combat. There is no mercy in the style, and many Jedi are disgusted at it's brutal beatings and bone breaking locks

___Restrictions:
• Users cannot be asmatic, or have a brittle bone condition, as this style is both high endurance and high impact.
•No matter how well trained, or quick, a 100 pound man is not going to suplex a 250 pound mandolarian in beskar without a serious struggle and a massive strength increase. Remember physics please
•There is no nice version of this style, no move used in this style is used to subdue. Users cannot "pull" techniques in this style.

•Users of Strong Arm Grappling gain a strength increase At each stage of the style
•Users also gain a endurance increase every two stages of this style

___S t a g e O n e [1]
Basic Double
Simple :: Rank E
The user attempts to take his opponet to the ground with a simple tackle at the waist, dropping the opponent back onto the ground, or lifting them to the side. While not the most deadly manuver, it gets the opponet to the ground, and can cause injury.

Brawler's Punch
Simple :: Rank E
on the ground or on his feet, the Grappler throws a simple straight punch at his opponent.

Brawler's Kick
Simple E :: Rank E
the user throws a simple front kick. often in distraction to his real intended manuver.

Ear Clap
Complex :: Rank E
The Brawler lashes out with both hands to slam his palm's into his opponents ears, causing disorintation, hearing loss, and dizzyness. Its a perfect way to set up a takedown.

___S t a g e T w o [2]
Suplex
Simple :: Rank D
The Brawler, from in front or behind his opponent, wraps both arms around his opponent and uses his upper body to break his opponents core posture, then lifts the target, and slams him into the ground over the Brawlers head, Forcing the opponent to land on his head or neck. l
• example:Vader Suplex

Mount
Simple :: Rank D
Once a opponent hits the ground the brawler straddles them, dropping his weight atop them, and keeping a opponet down to use ground manuvers

Big Elbow
Simple : Rank D
weather on the ground or standing up, the Brawler throws a heavy elbow at his opponent. Lots of these elbows have spilled blood.

Blast Double
Complex :: Rank D
The Brawler shoot in in a double leg takedown, but instead of doing the more gentle finish, Blast through his opponent with powerful steps and slams them into the ground on their backs
• Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-XzMFuCTm0

___S t a g e T h r e e [3]
Arm Bar
Simple :: Rank C
After taking a opponent down the Brawler attacks the opponents arm, manuvering his body around it quickly and blocking the elbow with his hips while pulling the arm back fiercely. Causing a extreme damage to the limb.
• This move is both defensive and offensive: ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRZezRWWbwE

Sidewalk Slam
Simple :: Rank C
Normally used defensively, the Brawler ducks a attack or is grappled from behind, and drops to quickly to scoop both the opponents legs up and slam him onto his back
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIyNRbtITzU don't listen to the idiot talking. The move is based on a jujitsu maneuver and works just fine from standing in actual combat.

Echani Unarmed
Expression through War

User Image

___Description:
The echani art was an unarmed combat discipline developed by the Echani. Tradition dictated that combatants (usually) made no use of armor, weapons or Force techniques, as the art was focused on mastering the body itself as a weapon. Echani culture held the belief that combat was the only means to truly know someone, a pure form of expression where words were swept away, allowing for action to reveal the true nature of the people involved. Their duels were rituals, and it was important to follow etiquette, for that would allow them to read each others' stance and fight accordingly. In this manner, battle was seen as a form of communication similar to art. Exposing emotions in combat, however, made the duel a personal thing; engaging in repeated sessions was a courtship of sorts, in which one's favors were won through superior fighting prowess.

___Restrictions:
• During training, the user may not use armor or apply this to weapons. This restriction is lifted for combat.
• cannot be of frail stature, or impact training will kill you
• In order to move on from certain stages, you must participate in a no weapon, no armor (no force power either) spar with someone for a minimum of 7 posts (each). From stage-2 to stage-3, from stage-4 to stage 5, and to be able to learn the last 2 techniques in stage 6.

___S t a g e O n e [1]
Front Jab
Simple :: E
The user loads their hip to the front side, then pressing with their legs unleashes a fast front punch that aims for the opponents chin. Although Fast, its main purpose is to move the targets chin, or to make them react in a certain way that sets up another, more devastating attack.

Front Backfist
Simple :: E
Another fast attack, this technique is a circular version that is meant to catch the opponent off guard, or more easily flow with a circular combo. Although small in motion, it is best not to underestimate this attack.

Busting One
Complex :: E
The user is trained enough in the art of Speed and power that they can use their body to flow techniques. This bursting combination allows the user to throw 2 techniques when someone else can only throw 1, making it have a more increase chance of success.

Trained response 1
Simple :: E :: Training
The user, through a better understanding of combat and expression has a slightly increased chance of dodging an in coming technique.

___S t a g e T w o [2]
Deflection
Simple :: D
This is a simple technique in which the user will simply deflect oncoming strikes, though of course only if their opponent is at their rank. The user will use their; hand's, forearm's, elbow's, knee's, and shins to divert the oncoming strikes direction to avoid damage, while also leaving the target completely open for a counter strike.
• Only effective against one technique a usage

Numbing Counter
Complex :: D
This is yet another simple technique in which the user will block using their; forearm's, elbow's, knee's, and shins. Instead of a simple block, the user really puts some power into it, making it a hybrid block/strike. Upon making contact with the opponents strike, the user can inflict numbing damage to the limb being used to attack by the target. If the same limb is hit 3 times then it will be immobile by pain, and the victim will need medical attention to get it working again.
• technique has a one post cool down (meaning if you use it in one post, you must wait a post until you can use this technique again.

Reverse punch
Simple :: D
A very simple technique, but one that has proven the test of time. The user sinks their weight while pressing with their legs, twists and shifts their hips as they unload a powerful back leg punch (boxing “2”). This technique is as versatile as it is effective, being able to hit almost any target on the body with proper training and angle, as well as able to hit with devastating effectiveness in the right hands.

Spring step
Simple :: D :: Training
A simple method of moving that makes use of the users legs, pressing with them into every technique. Not only does this add power, but also allows the user to cover slightly more distance when attacking, allowing deceptively short range techniques to hit their mark.

___S t a g e T h r e e [3]
Round House Kick
Simple :: C
The user opens their hips by rotating their front foot out. Then sinking, pivoting, twisting and shifting their hips the user unleashes a powerful torqueing kick. This technique is a circular technique, and in the with proper training can hit anywhere from Tibial nerve to head level.

Front kick
Simple :: C
The user coils their hips back, lifts their knee above their belt and then thrusts their hips like it was a pendulum. The ball of the foot moves in a straight line with incredible speed and force, hitting with the ability to collapse and fold enemies at the impact cite.

Bursting 2
Complex :: C
The user is trained enough in the art of Speed and power that they can use their body to flow techniques at a much faster rate. This bursting combination allows the user to throw 4 techniques when someone else can only throw 1, making them quite the powerful hand to hand force

Trained response 2
Simple :: C :: Practice
The user has learned not only their own expression, but the expression of others. This ability gives them an increased chance of dodging strikes, simple because they are beginning to understand what the opponents “expression” In combat will be.

___S t a g e F o u r [4]
Smashing Elbow
Simple :: B
The user has a heightened understanding of fluid movement when it comes to striking. The user aims a punch for the enemy, and either chooses to land it, or if the enemy attempts a dodge, the user circles off and collapses their aim while torqueing their hips to unleash a powerful elbow for either the head or other targets on the foes midsection.

Side Kick
Simple :: B
The user blades their body to the side as they draw in their leg, keeping their knee and heel flat and pointed at the target. Pressing with their other leg while shifting their hips forward, the user extends their leg and hits with the heel of their lifted foot. This kick, when properly used, is the most powerful single movement technique the body can produce.

Nerve strike
Complex :: B
The user constricts their finger tips together to form a spear hand then thrust it at the opponent, hitting anywhere they should choose. The impact will cause the nerves to momentarily stop firing, causing numbness and limpness without the ability to move the afflicted limb, causing the victim to either drop their weapon or drop their guard creating an opening. Effects last 4 posts after the impact.
• Cannot be done in coordination with the bursting tecniques. Cannot stop hearts, cause blindness, or restrict breathing (meaning it only really affects appendages)

Flat affect of the Body
Simple :: B :: Practice
The user has gone through so much training, and felt so much of their expression as well as their opponents that they are slightly more resistant to taking damage.
• Only increases by a small amount. By no means are you invincible

___S t a g e F i v e [5]
Double Kick
Simple :: Rank A
The user pivots his or her front foot, and launches a powerful roundhouse kick, but instead of setting the foot down on contact or a miss, the user turns the hip over and launches into a immediate side kick, making for a fast and often surprising second strike. While one hit or another is damaging to be sure, connecting with both strikes is potentially fatal

Elbow Burst
Complex :: Rank A
The user steps in close to his/her opponent and launches a barrage of 5 elbow strikes at the upper body, each strike capable of cutting flesh or causing severe damage if connecting with vital areas. The final elbow, a thrusting backward elbow, is aimed at the sternum or face, and capable of causing severe damage or death.
• The flow of the form and strike locations are up to the user and spins are often included, but it always ends as described.

Dip then Destroy
Simple :: Rank A
the user dips to the side, avoiding a strike to the upper body and then replies with a brutal backhanded blow, striking to the face or to an attacking limb, this can interrupt a combination and cause a disorienting effect from pain and nervous system shock. It is easily strung with other strikes.

Three Level Assault
Simple :: Rank A
The user explodes with a front kick to the front or back leg of the opponent, lauches a punch at the floating rib, and another punch with the opposite hand at the face. This combination attack's every high level, and it notoriously difficult to block.

___S t a g e S i x [6]
Flat Affect of the Soul
Simple :: Rank S Practice
This martial arts master has been beaten and blocked and fought so much that they moderately resistant to damage now.

Offensive Guard
Complex :: Rank S
The user counters an opponets strike with there own offensive technique into the opponents striking limb, Any offensive maneuver in the users arsenal can be used defensively.
• The techniques used defensively are treated as complex techniques

Ultimate Expression
Simple :: Rank S Practice
The Master of Echani is a phenom at reading body mechanics, giving them a heavily decreased response time to attacks in melee combat, and a slightly faster response to ranged attacks that the shooter is visible. The master is not truely faster, but he reacts almost instantly to stimuli
• must be trained by dodging attacks for the required number of post.

Death Star
Simple :: Rank S practice
At this level the Master of Echani has no new techniques to learn to assault with, so instead he perfects those he has to devastating accuracy Accuracy of all techniques is sharply increased after this training.
• Must have slain at least three opponents in melee combat

King of the Beskar Fist
Dangerous, brutal, and effective

User Image

___Description:
The Beskar Fist style originated by a few sets of mandalorians who acted as mercenaries and bounty hunters during a time where “alive” paid more then 4 times more then dead. So in order to take a person in, and get the payed for it, they had to develop a style that was quick, brutal, and efficient at sedating stabilizing the opponent while most times getting a weapon or defense tool away from them. These Mandalorians became so effective at this art that it was suddenly engrained in the culture of the Mandalorians, and was taught as their premier martial art.

With the Release of the mando armor, this style became even more effective, utilizing special armor modifications to make their strikes and disarms even more effective. It was one thing to be hit by flesh, it was the another thing to be hit by beskar, steel, and metal.

___Restrictions:
• User must be in armor to train these skills
• To use these technqiues without armor, the user must train these skills at half their requirement
• Use this Link for throw and takedown references

___S t a g e O n e [1]
Front Jab
Simple :: E
The User shifts their hips forward unleashing a fast front Jab

Back Punch
Simple :: E
The User pushes with their back foot while torqueing and shifting their hips, dropping a simple but strong back leg punch.

Foot Sweep
Complex :: E
The user pushes forward while attatching, gets under the opponent making them light. Reaching with their front foot, they wrap up the front supporting leg of the opponent and throw them to the ground. This is easily followed by a weapon draw, or descending physical attacks.
visual

Mando’a umph
Simple :: E :: Training
The users ability to tense, stabilize, and execute hard blocks and strikes has increased, making striking power and blocking stoppage becoming stronger.

___S t a g e T w o [2]
Horizontal Elbow
Simple :: D
The user horizontally twists their hips while stepping, circling and extending their elbow, they aim a strong elbow for the enemy. This technique can also be used as a block, and in armor can redirect some weapons.

Vertical Elbow
Simple :: D
The user shifts forward and pushes with their hips and unleashes a powerful upward vertical elbow against the opponent. This technique can also be used as a block, and in armor can redirect certain weapons.

Disarming Foot sweep
Complex :: D
the user rushes forward and then quickly bursts to the outside of the opponent. Dropping an elbow on the weapon hand of the opponent, the user then grabs the weapon with their back hand then aims a small circling back fist to knock the enemy back and up, then quickly pulls the foot of the enemy out from under them in a foot sweep. This sweep not only takes the enemy down, but also disarms the opponent allowing the user to use their weapon against them.
visual(technique at 36 seconds)

Mando’a resiliance
Simple :: D :: Training
The User, through tough training is now more resistant to damage, both mentally and physically.

___S t a g e T h r e e [3]
Straight Knee
Simple :: C
The user moves their hips in a pendulum motion, most times pulling down on the opponent at the same time to increase the force at the impact sight, and thrust their knee up into the target location on the opponents body aiming for any high value target. The impact force is compared to a speeder crash, and the damage is devastating…especially in armor.

Round Knee/Round Kick
Simple :: C
A versatile technique that is as powerful as it is elusive. The user opens the hips and presses with the attacking leg while torqueing their body, bringing the knee up in an elliptical motion. If the knee misses, then the user can easily extend their shin to make the impact. This technqiues force is slightly less then the straight knee, but can crack ribs, or when attacking the opponents lower body, mess with footing, stance, or even sweep the opponent.

Suplex take-down
Complex :: C
The user, usually after a knee strike, wraps around the opponents neck, shifts their hips forward. Then they will extend and expand their back as the stand-up, lifting their opponent high above them. Falling with them to the ground, the high velocity of the opponents impact on normal ground would easily cause them to lose their breath, or lose a weapon. Normally, ribs would be broken and the enemy would be left incapacitated. If the battle takes place on harder, less forgiving, even jagged terrain, this technique could simply kill and crush the opponent much less disarm them.

Mandalore’s Disciple
Simple :: C :: Training
The user, through hours of intense training in multiple bad scenarios, has learned the old saying of “to kill with one punch.” Because they do not want to find themselves outnumbered, or maybe for pure enjoyment sake, the user is able to hit with great intensity when striking a foe, focusing on tension, grounding, stability, and strength at the impact sight. The users striking and blocking is increased.

___S t a g e F o u r [4]
Ridge hand strike
Simple :: B
The user torques their hips while allowing their relaxed arm to shoot out to the side , then turn over and move across their center line for the opponent. The striking surface for the user can be anywhere from their first knuckle of the thumb to the meaty part of their inner forearm. Usually this strike is aimed for the temples, throat, or any high value head target, and because the user usually has armor around the impacting weapon, this technique is not only fast but hard and quite devastating. Can possibly cause concussions, other sorts of head trauma, as well as can knock the opponent out quickly, even taking their feet out from under them (like a clothesline).

Blast Uppercut
Simple :: B
The user will dip out to the side, either to avoid a weapon or change the angle of the attack, while simultaneously bending their knees to avoid other attacks and to add dynamic tension and potential energy. The exploding with all the force in their legs while swinging their hips and blasting upwards with their hand, the user aims a nasty uppercut into the opponent, it be the body or the head. This strike is so powerful that it could lift the opponent off the ground, making them fall back or at least stagger.

Beskar Throw and Disarm
Complex :: B
The user has trained and performed many techniques against opponents both with and without armor…finding those with armor difficult to muscle into a throw. However, through the user of clever physics, the user is now able to perform almost effortless throws over their should and hip against enemies of all sizes and shapes. They are so effective and trained with this, that they are able to track and drape the enemies weapon hand, and disarm them as they fall.
• possible throws: Ashi Garuma, Hane Goshi, harai goshi, Ippon seoinage, Kata guruma, morote seoinagi, O goshi, O Garuma, osoto gari/guruma, tsuri goshi, tsurikomi goshi.

Beskar Clinch
Complex :: B
the user rushes forward, quickly thrusting their forearms into the clavicals off the opponents as they wrap their hands around the back of the neck of the opponent. With this position, they could whip the opponent around while continually raining blows on the enemy, and easily transitioning to a takedown or disarm. Techniques used in this position have an increased chance of hitting.
• The user can pay a continual chakra cost co continue this position afer the initial post. The second post will cost the user 80 energy, and the third and last post will cost the user 160 energy. There is a post cool down equal to the number of posts the user continues the clinch (if they use the clinch for one post, then they have a cool down of 1 post. If they use if for two posts, then they have a 2 post cool down, and ect.)

___S t a g e F i v e [5]
Overhand Elbow
Simple :: A
The user moves their body like they would for any other elbow, but lets their elbow go above their head, moving their arm like they are swimming (but keeping the hand tucked into the body by the shoulder). Allowing their elbow to fall like an axe, the user aims a powerful elbow for the opponent, utilizing this devastating and damaging technique as either a strike, a parry, or even a block.

Beskar Drop
Simple :: A
The user attacks the opponent on the ground, usually as a result of a take down the performed, by dropping a knee into their body to keep them in place while at the same time aims a powerful punch for the chin, neck, temple of the opponent. When this attack hits, it usually is used to keep the opponent still then finish them with a single powerful blow. If this blow seemingly doesn’t finish the opponent off, then the user can mount them, then continue to rain devastating “bombs” on their face.

Beskar Barrier
Complex :: A
The user bursts forward without hesitation, regret, or fear for the opponent despite what weapon they are carrying. Why can they do this: because they have a secret. Once close enough, the user performs a series of powerful forearm strikes, hammer fists, and elbows into the attacking limbs of the opponent, keeping them clear of the weapon and allowing them to stay clear of damage even if they are without armor. This is a pinnacle technique in the philosophy of “King of the Beskar Fist.”

Mandalore’s resolve
Simple :: A
The user has been thrown around, impacted, and beaten down so many times that they are not just physically more resistant, they are mentally used to getting their a** beat! The users physical and mental toughness is increased.

___S t a g e S i x [6]
Beskar Block
Simple :: S
The user performs one of their strikes, but aiming for the attacking limb of the opponent. Hitting hard, heavy, and solidly the user aims to strike so effectively and devastatingly precise that the user will actually let go of their weapon. Even if this doenst occur, the weight and force applied to this technique causes the opponent to be way out of position, separated from their body frame allowing the user to have a clear and easy set of angles for a return attack, or even a take down and disarm.

Bes’uliik Strike
Simple :: S
The user swiftly jumps forward at the opponent, throwing their leg back to set up their hip while unleashing a vicious (superman) punch, elbow, or knee. This movement easily covers a lot of distance that would normally be adventagious for a weapon…and it was quickly taken away by a flying armored warrior. The trauma caused from this powerful attack could be simple broken bones, to a nerve strike that causes the opponent to be knocked out, knocked down, or the very least lose their footing.

Beskar Slam and Disarm
Complex :: S
The user quickly bursts in, using entering and angling foot work to avoid any sort of weapon attack, it be horizontal, vertical, linear, or circular. Using the arm to wrap up the weapon arm of the enemy, the user squeezes just above the elbow, securing the arm and limiting all movement from it allowing him to be safe from continued attacks from the opponents weapon. Following with a web-hand strike to the throat with the other hand, the user grips in strongly into the opponents neck and settles his hips and legs underneath the center of gravity of the opponent. Utilizing perfect technique, as well as some brute strength and slight arrogance, the user expands strongly, lifting the opponent off the ground and above their head. Moving the opponents legs and hips out of the way to create momentum and force in the technique, the user drops down while bringing the opponent down flattened out into a vicious chokeslam, making their body spread out as to take away all possibilities of absorbing or “breakfalling.” The Beskar slam can easily cause massive internal trauma, such as a ruptured spleen, deflated lung, concussion, cracked and broken ribs, and other forms of head, back, and neck trauma. After the slam, the user can easily transition into other ground based techniques, often pinning the opponent to the ground and quickly disarming them. However, after the technique, the massive amounts of trauma the opponent has taken they are likely to black out, lose hold or grip on their weapon. If resisted, this technique can be easily reversed into a "Beskar throw and disarm" at half the energy cost.

Swift Foot
Simple :: S :: Training
A well trained individual is usually faster than a not trained individual, and the practitioners of the Beskar fist understand this fact more then anyone. However, those of the Beskar fist not only accomplish this boost of speed….they also do it in armor! The user is now unaffected by the additional weight of armor (to a logical sense), and when the user is out of armor, their body and technique speed is greatly increased at the loss of the protection. They are much more adept at bursting into action, going from standing to 100% in single moments.
