It must have seemed quite unusual. While other little girls read grandiose adventures of princesses and fairy maidens, there sat one off of the side. Granted, the tiny slip of a girl wasn't a prominent feature in the store. She didn't have great wings or bright colors to betray her. However, anyone who may have even accidentally wandered close to the written realm of magic, death, or even the occult could have practically tripped over Mimosa as she sat perfectly still. All around her, great piles of books on the arcane subjects had been piled up, and a certain few particularly set aside. She would get to those later, perhaps even buy them, but in the here and now those fawning blue eyes reflected something akin to witchcraft, and her fingertips slowly pulled and pried at a small stone in her palm, trying to shape it into one of the symbols she focused on.

"You know it's bad form to read books you're not buying," Taylor teased gently. The tall teen pride demon towered over the small girl and the mess she'd created. " It's not nice for the staff or other customers for you to pull everything off the shelf either" Taylor wasn't trying to be patronizing, he'd heard this same speech from his own mother when he himself was younger. With no one in sight to chastise the girl he'd taken it upon himself to help her before staff came down this aisle and had a fit.

Given his own tendencies to stalk the occult section as a child Taylor had no comment on finding a little girl there, other than his objections to the mess she'd made. Though he did wonder just what it was here that had fascinated her so much, something in her family perhaps or something she'd seen on tv maybe, perhaps like him she'd been drawn here by all the occult imagery comics used.

Mimosa was taken aback by the older voice. The girl peered up with wide eyes before realizing that she had indeed cluttered the isle. As hasty as a sloth could manage, which was a lethargic pacing at best, she scrambled to put the books back in place. She only managed a few before glancing back up at the older spawn. She hadn't met anyone like him before... "I'm sorry. . .about the books. I'm Mimosa. . ."
