Well, we thought things would look up, but last night they didn't. At around midnight last night, my grandmother collapsed again and this time they couldn't revive her.
My grandmother, Mildred, passed away last night at the age of 79.
I honestly don't know what more to say. I'm going to be heading to see my folks Thursday, so I don't know how often I'm going to be on for while after that. I'm still trying to absorb all this and fact that she's gone.
Anyway, just wanted to let you all know, I remember some of you, especially Owwin, were concerned about her and thank you for your support back then.

Oh man, I'm so sorry about your grandma LOA. I don't know what to say other than that except now she is at rest and not in any pain. It really sucks to lose someone and I know, at least for me, what people said didn't really matter just that they cared.
If you need anyone to talk to, I'm around and have been through the loss thing before. Again, I'm really sorry for your loss.

C'est la vie, my friend. Such things happen and were meant to happen. Without death, life is not as precious, and without life, death holds no sting. Know that I am sorry for your loss, but beyond that I cannot offer much more than a conversation if you wish. Trust me when I say I wish I could do more.

I know you dont believe in God or anything, so sorry that she passed. Same as Cookie, I can only offer my friendship and a conversation. I'm busy, but anytime that I'm on I'll gladly devote to you. Sorry for your loss.

I don't think we have talked much but I am sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose someone close to you. If you need to talk I can try to be around to listen.

Thanks guys.
I don't know where she is now, but chances are she's with my grandfather, her husband. He died back in 2004. I'm sad, but since she's with grandpa again I can't help be feel a bit happy for her too.

And of course, as long as you remember her, she will live on. : ) What are some of your favorite memories of her?

Man, depressing stuff... If you think she's better off where she is now, then maybe it's for the best. You'll always have the time you spent.

SoThatAznGirl And of course, as long as you remember her, she will live on. : ) What are some of your favorite memories of her? The last time I talked to her I was wishing her a happy birthday. That was about a week ago. She was wondering if I had another girlfriend yet. xd

My condolences. Try your best to be strong, continue to be a good person and try not to be sad. You are a good guy and I am sure she is so proud of you.

Wow. I'm sorry for your loss.
I know how it feels, I lost my grandfather 2 years ago from a lung cancer. I didn't believe in any religion until this happened. I took some time to think about death and religion, and now I'm skeptical about whether there's a heaven or not. Life seems so meaningless without some sort of afterlife, but it could also be one of the very harsh truths of life.
Just take some time for yourself to absorb it, and you're gonna be able to pass through it. If you have any doubt about religion, rethink about it, it may be the best time to do so!
Like everyone said, if you need someone, I'm here. If you want to discuss about death, religion, I can share the two cents of a 17 year old teenager that lived the same thing. :]
