Just because you don't agree with our humor, maybe not understand it, doesn't mean you should cast down the guild. If you don't agree with the way we joke, nobody is stopping you from leaving. But you'll stay and fight, even though the guild "deserved to die."

Well in my guild, I have Movie Night. We vote on a movie, one of our members uploads it, we share a link, and we all watch it.
Now I'm not coordinating two different polls for the voting, but I'll let anyone that wants a say into my guild. Then anyone the wants, from both guilds all gathers and watches together and discusses the movie while we watch. Then afterwards, you can make a discussion thread in your guild, so people can discuss the movie. I suggest making a new sub-forum for them, so that they're al together.
With at least one thread active every week, people will already be here. They'll post in the other threads, ergo necromancy slowly makes old threads new. End result, this place is active again.
Tell a friend, rouse the mods, and send an announcement. Burn is coming back... But only if we do this my way. With your help I can turn us around and bring us back but only if you let me.

A) It's a weekly thing. I am looking to do a second screening anyway, so I would not be opposed to that, especially since Lady Kira X had requested one. As she is part of both guilds, I can work on the second screening better suiting your schedule.
B) Thanks for catching that typo? I'm not sure... Was I supposed to react differently to this one?
C) Well, the only reason for the difference is a matter of ease. Right now, there is already some level of membership overlap, so people would be able to vote twice if they are in both guilds. Sorting out all of that would be tricky, and in addition to that, I intend to extend this to other guilds as well, depending on how things go. I just extended it to you first because I thought that it might be the most helpful to you and as a part of Crew, I view this guild's success as, in part, my responsibility. I can assure you all that it's not out of any desire to cut you out, but offering a poll here presents certain logistics problems that I have a very difficult time finding solutions to.
Right now, I'll be happy to admit anyone that wants a say into the Disciples, even if they only want in to have a vote and never post anywhere else. At the moment that's the best I can do. I'm willing to hear other ideas from any of you, though for the time being, it may be best to see how things go for a couple showings before we really wrack our brains. I certainly hope that it catches on, but it may not work.

That would be a personal choice made on behalf of the guild.
My opinion is that it is best to wait a few weeks. Make sure the topics aren't dead in the water. If each movie receives no more than two comments... Well, I wouldn't want to discourage the attempt, but it seems to me like a single thread would better serve than a sub-forum.
If, on the other hand, each movie gets at least a handful of comments (hopefully a few more, 7 being a decent number) then it would be wise (or at least reasonable) to give each movie its own thread.
How you run the administrative portion is all up to the Captain and Vice Captains, but I think that I might just wait to make sure it catches on, if you'd like my advice.
