Events XXXXXSpring1 : New Year’s Day Festival : Head to the town square to celebrate the new year by pounding away at New Year’s mochi. However, beware of the sticky goo; eat too fast and you’ll choke! 4 : Valentine’s Day : This day is for showing all your friends how much you care about them by sending them gifts. 6 : Cooking Contest : Bring in your best dish to the Town Square by Afternoon to be judged on taste, creativity, and plating. The winner of each category will receive framed awards to place in their kitchens. 10 : Flower Festival : In the morning, bachlorettes can sign up at the Town Square to enter the Flower Princess contest. While voting commences, flowers can be planted around the square. The Flower Princess will be announced in the Afternoon by the Mayor. She then gets to pick her partner in the traditional Waltz of the Flowers. Everyone else may also join in. 13 : Horse Race : On this day at Mid-Day, enter the race to prove just how much faster your horse is. If you don't own a horse but consider yourself the best rider alive, borrow a steed from the local ranch and enter! The top three will receive medals, and the winning horse will get golden horseshoes.XXXXXSummer1 : Beach Picnic : On this day, pack up a delicious meal to share with loved ones or that special someone. Activities include bobbing for apples, beach volleyball, a seaside race, kite-flying, and building sandcastles. 4 : White Day : Buy (or make) chocolates for that one special guy in your life. 6 : Firefly Festival : Invite that special person in your life to create a flower boat and watch it float down the river. As your little boat sails away, make a wish and hope it comes true. 9 : Showcase of the Arts : Head down to the theatre in the Evening to enjoy a night of music, acting, dancing, and singing. During intermission, be sure to view the art pieces in the lobby! 15 : Fireworks : Invite a special someone to the beach to watch the fireworks at Night.XXXXXFall1 : Horse Race : On this day at Mid-Day, enter the race to prove just how much faster your horse is. The café will supply hot chocolate for everyone in attendance. 6 : Harvest Festival : Everyone brings a dish to the Town Square, where a potluck to celebrate the harvest will occur. 14 : Halloween : A costume party will start at Evening in the Town Square. There will also be a costume contest for the most creative outfit. The top three winners will receive medals, and the winning costume will be awarded a special prize. XXXXXWinter3 : Starry Night Festival : Take your significant other to the beach this night to view the heavens. If you’re lucky, you might even get a little kiss! 7 : Goddess Festival : From Mid-Day to Night, celebrate the Goddess’ birthday with a marvelous feast and a lovely dance with a special someone! 12 : Snow Festival : Head to the fields for a joyful day of play in the snow! Participate in snowman-building, epic snowball fights, and the creation of snow angels! 15 : New Year‘s Eve Celebration : At Night, head to the Town Square to enjoy some Buckwheat Noodles with all your fellow villagers. Beware of breaking your noodles, unless you want a year of bad luck!
