Now I, just as everyone else in this guild likes 'larger' women(and men?) But with everyone saying about the problems of obesity and all, what is a safe weight? one that is nicly... "plump" I guess you could put it but isn't seriosly heath damageing. Any input? Is all this "obesity = OMG WTF H4x ur gunna die!!11111!one!!!" thing a little overblown? confused

Healty weight can usually be determined through a BMI (body mass index) calculation. Put in your height, weight, age, and gender, and you should get a number.

under 17 is underweight
17-22 is healthiest
23,24 are average
25-30 is overweight
30 and above is obese

*BZZZZT*

Incorrect. The body-mass index is a peice of crap, as it fails to take into account muscle mass fat mass and bone mass ratios. It's also primarily based on poorly-researched sweeping generalizations.

Most of health depends on lifestyle. If you get an hour of aerobic exercise each week, and eat a large variety of foods, you should be okay health-wise. It is true that being fat can complicate some existing knee and back problems however, and it goes without saying that when a person has trouble moving around they are too fat to be healthy.

okay may i firstly say. that i've lost over 70 lb coz i was what was concidered very over weight. and losing weight caused me nothing but health problems. and no it wasnt because of the way i went about it. but once i started losing weight my hair went very dry and brittle and never recovered from my change of diet and when i was eating fatty greesy foods before my hair was amazinly soft and silky. and losing weight also landed me in hospital. because of the amount of exercise i was doing my body rebelled against it and for months during my dieting i was getting terrible pains which i later descoved was from raging apendicitous which nearly killed me as they failed to diagnose it because of the pain not being continuous. (i thought it was just pulled mussles)
so losing weight did nothing but damage me and i'm very pissed off that i lost so much trying to better myself.
sorry people my rant is over now.
