Lusala was investigating a new corner of the rogue lands. He knew he was close to some land belonging to a pride, but as long as he toed the line he should be fine. He was looking for a good place to bed down the night for when he'd found his next meal. Lulasa would prefer a tree, as it gave him a great vantage point and high ground at the same time. He spotted a likely one with good strong branches that could hold his meal as well as him so he set about looking for an unsuspecting meal.

Little did the male know that the corner of the rogue lands that the male was wandering into the corner where her pride started. She was the queen of the pride and she liked to patrol the borders some times to see what there was going on outside of the pride. there were many times where she just wandered out of the pride to enjoy her time.
Today was one of those days where she just wanted to walk around and see new things and everything like that. But there was something that made it even better, and that was when she noticed some one coming her way. Her ears perked and she looked curiously at the male. She was about to great him as if she would great one of her pride mates however she paused remembering he was not one of the pride. "Hello."

Lusala looked over when he was greeted. "Hello." he said a little warily, he had not planned on meeting any other lions around here. "Any good hunting grounds around here? Preferably on the rogue side?" The last thing he needed was to get in trouble with a pride he knew nothing about.

Zelt looked at the male with a curious look, he was kind of surprised to see the male so curious. She flicked her tail around behind her a few times before chuckling quietly. "If you're looking for hunting grounds on the rogue side then I would say to stay out that way." She chuckled pointing her paw behind him and motioning with it slightly. She then motioned behind herself. "That way is my hunting lands, well my pride's hunting lands." She chuckled quietly. "We aren't too keen on outsiders in our pride." She nodded at the idea, it was pretty true, they were accepting to those that were interested into the pride however she was pretty sure that he wasn't interested into the pride.

"Good to know, thank you." He paused before turning around. "What's your pride's name? I'm making a mental map." She was right, he had no interest in joining their pride, but he took after his mother and her wandering paws while adding an interest in knowing as much as possible. It was a shame her pride wasn't friendly with rogues, he'd been known to enjoy visiting with various prides.

Zelt nodded, "Don't get me wrong!" she laughed quielty before she shook her head again and then spoke up again. "We are a friendly pride but we really don't like others in our pride unless they are going to be joining." she nodded at the idea then paused a smile was on her face as she spoke this. She really couldn't help it she loved her pride. "It's the Iknimaya." She nodded before speaking once again. "How rude!" She chuckled slightly saking her head. "I forget to do this when I haven't met those in the pride. My name is Zelt'sin." She nodded at the idea with a small chuckle.

"A pleasure to meet you Zelt'sin. I am Lusala. I like to wander too much to join a pride, but it is good to know your guards won't come charging out at me for being near the boundary line."
He settled down on his haunches since the female seemed interested in a conversation. He lived a solitary life and it was nice to flex his conversation muscles now and again. "Clearly you like your pride. And that, if you ask me, is the most important thing. Even if they're picky about rogue lions." He personally thought she had the definition of friendly pride a little skewed (even if she was being friendly out here on the rogue land side) but that was alright, she'd probably be a little more stand offish if he was on her pride's land.

Zelt'sin chuckled quietly as she looked at the male. "No they won't , I am the guard at the moment so no worries." She said simply before commenting something else "Ah else, some enjoy the lives of being a rogue. Not for me though." She chuckled quietly as she glanced back at the forest behind her she had grown up there and she loved it much to much to worry about wandering around outside of the pride for long amounts of time. DShe liked being home and having a home much too much..
Zelt chuckled some as she shook her head. "I love my pride, I hope I would because I'm the queen." She laughed light heartedly before speaking again. "Well there are a lot of unfriendly and potentially harmful lions out there. We recently been attacked so we are a little cautious. Beside we have a lot of cubs running around that we want to protect and keep safe." She nodded decidedly. She really didn't want to make the male feel uncomfortable but it was pretty true.

Lusala was surprised. "You're the queen of your pride? Where are your guards? You already know many of the rogues are not friendly and you're out here by yourself?" He may not get attacked for being near their boundary but surely her guards would be jumpy when they finally caught up. He had no desire to get into a big misunderstanding and the likely fight that would follow.

Zelt nodded with a smile. "Oh yes! I am the queen It's quite enjoyable." She paused and then thought about it for a second before she started laughing with a smile on her face. "I'm quiet safe." She nodded at the idea the grin was still on her face. "I know how to defend myself, I know the area very well and I can get through these dense forests much better then anyone else." She then paused again thinking. "My guards aren't that far off, It I called they could be here very quickly." She nodded once again. she knew that it was true that she could get attacked but what she said was also pretty true, the dense forest wans't too far off behind her and she was very good at this.

"Well, that's ... good." He stated. "At least you enjoy being the leader of your pride. And it is good also that you'll be protected so you can continue to lead." What a strange lioness, carefree, and so nonchalant about her safety. Well, it wasn't any of his business, and he was getting hungrier by the minute. "You said better hunting that way right?" He nodded in the direction she'd indicated earlier.

Zelt nodded once again to the male before flicking her hair out of the eyes. "I do a lot." she then chuckled and nodded at the male "Yes that is the way that you want to go." she remembered at one point when she had to send the hunters out that was to retrieve meals for the pride where there wans't much around to get. She then chuckled and nodded gain. "Well! I hope your travels are safe."

"Thank you again Zelt'sin, I hope your pride flourishes." He nodded respectfully and started off in the direction she'd indicated for good hunting. It had been an interesting encounter. He still thought it was lucky he was a nice lion and not one that would attack the leader of a pride. Well, he did honestly hope her pride flourished. It'd be nice if such trust in nature and her guards could be upheld.
