Twitching his tail this way and that Daktari looked out over the cliff overhang he was currently standing on. It had been pretty quiet and calm here the last few weeks. Daktari was slowly becoming bored with little to no interaction and hungry. His stomach gave a little rumble, he shifted his bulky body to the left and laughed.
Flopping his body down he swatted at a nearby flower and he thought of what he would go hunt for and what he would do afterwards. Vastly becoming bored with battling the flower around he unleashed his claws and cut the flower up. Rolling to his side and then standing up to stretch he decided it was a good time as any to go hunt.

Tamin was on his own. He was out in the rouge lands without any father or sisters or anyone to tell him what to do, not that they really did anyway. He was his own lion and could do what ever he wanted. And right then he wanted to hunt, the demon inside seemed to purr his pleasure at the thought of spilling blood.
Tamin found the perfect spot for an ambush, behind a slight rise, near a stream, and a cliff face in the distance. If he could startle prey the kill would be quick but if it came to a chase he hoped to trap them at the cliff face. There he waited... and waited... and waited. The still fairly young lion was annoyed that his perfect plan had yet to be sprung.

Daktari continued down the cliff face, completely unaware of the other male lion lying in wait to attack. It was pure luck that made him look to the left in time to see the other male spring from his hidden spot. Blinking, the only sign of being startled, he used his right front paw and batted the other male lion down to the ground. Holding him down in that position he tilted his head this way and that as he took in the struggling orange, blue, and white lion belong him.
"Hello!" He said completely oblivious to the younger lions anger below him. "What were you doing hidden in the bush? " He received a hiss for his answer. "Now, now there's no need for that. Just trying to make sense of all this."

Tamin was surprised that it was a pink lion that he had heard coming and attacked. That wasn't the most surprising part thought, even with being momentary distracted Tamin should have reacted faster then he did. Before he could blink he was on the ground with a large pink paw holding him down. "Get off me before you lose your paw," He growled just barely holding back from tearing into the older male. That was one of the hardest things that Tamin had to learn, patience.
As a young cub Tamin would jump into a frey without really thinking about it, he would preform moves that didn't work because he didn't time them just right, and he would get in trouble for things he did because he did it too fast. Taking the few seconds it took the other lion to reply Tamin prepared, either the pink lion would get off him or Tamin was going to make blood flow.

Daktari continued to look down at the other male blankly for a minute before the others words registered. "Oh, sorry 'bout that." He then lifted his paw away from the other male, and unknowningly put his back paw on the others tail. Daktari couldn't understand the others anger, but then again he couldn't understand a lot of things- ' Oh a butterfly.' He turned his head to the left to spy the insect fluttering on a flower petal.
" Did you see-" Daktari turned to look at the other male and blinked. "Where did you go?" He stated while looking the opposite way from where Tamin really was located. Sometimes he liked to catch others offguard and assess how they handle him. To make them think he was clueless and obvious to things, confuse the enemy or unknown and survive longer.

Tamin watched the other male with silted eyes until he moved his paw but he yelped in pain when the pink nincompoop stepped on his tail. Scrambling away from the bumbling ninny Tamin turned back to him once some distance was between them. "What the..." He couldn't help but show his shock over seeing the lion studying a butterfly. A bug? He is looking at a bug?!? The demon lion thought. Then to put the icing on the confused cake the pink lion looked around, in the wrong direction. "What are you, stupid or something?" Tamin couldn't help but comment on the strange lion.

Daktari frowned at the others words. Such arrogance. He thought to himself. "I assure you I am nothing of the sort." He spoke calmly while looking at the sky above him before looking at the younger out of the corner of his eye. The other was getting on his nerves somewhat and Daktari wanted to leave. Whether by force or peace, it all depended on the other male. Daktari wasn't one for violence but when push came to shove he wasn't afraid to give it his all.
"What brings you here anyways?" He was calm and collect, the complete opposite of the persona he just played out before. Another key move to 'syc' out someone, flip your emotions back and forth leaving the other wondering what would happen next.

Tamin could only stare at the other lion. He had to have been dropped on his head as a cub, he thought to himself. Never had he ever really been payed so little attention, except as a cub in adult conversations. "Lookin' for food. Its a waterin' hole so there will be food coming by, duh." Tamin gestured to the watering hole but didnt take his eyes off the lion, he moved too fast to be as stupid as he sounded.
"Why are you here?" Tamin didn't think he was in another's area but it was possible, he guessed.
