Kirja knew what was coming today, that was for sure. She was standing on the borders of her pride, she knew he was coming and she knew what she had to do. She really didn't want to break up with him but at the same time she wanted to, really she knew that she needed to. She knew the bond that Quetza and Dunia had and she knew it was something that was special. Not only did she knew of it but she also didn't want to break it up. She knew the tension that was between them when she was there and she didn't like it. She could see how much Quetza and Dunia had with each other and she knew that they were meant to be.
However for Quetza and Dunia to end up with each other something had to be done with Kirja, and she knew that was that she had to step down from the relationship and pretty much just get out of the way of it. Even though the idea of it hurt she talked to her mother and her mother agreed with the idea that Kirja had and she knew her mother was very smart with these kind of things so she was going to believe what her mother said to her. She always trusted her mothers's advice and knew that her mother meant the best with the advice that she gave.
She really wasn't a fan of this breaking up idea but yet at the same time she didn't want to be taking what was basically some one else's boyfriend. She wasn't like that and she didn't want to be known as that. But yet at the same time she didn't want to be a heart breaker but yet she knew that it was going to happen and she knew that was what she needed to do. Even though she didn't like doing it she was going to have to.
So thats what she had planned to do today. It was upsetting and she was really hoping that she didn't hurt Quetza too much but she knew it had to be done. She paced back and forth at the pride's borders, looking around and flicking her tail back and forth. She really wished that he would get here sooner, she wanted to get it done and over with but at the same time to a point she was hoping that he didn't show up at all. Oh, she hoped that everything went okay and was going to go okay. She wanted to get this done and over witih and she wanted to head back to the pride.

 He was approaching the female but not too quickly. He really wasn't looking forward to this but he knew he had to do it. In his mind he was thinking similar things as the female was, however he was just a little more clueless. He didn't know all of what she did, but he knew that his best friend was being kind of weird and this worried him. He wanted to know what was wrong and the only thing that he could think of was that Dunia didn't like Kirja. Even though both of them seemed to get along well enough when he introduced them, when he thought about it, there was this tension that was around that bothered him and he knew that there was something wrong. He couldn't explain it but it had to be the only reason why Dunia was having a problem with him.
He didn't like Dunia upset with him and he was missing his constant adventures with her. He liked Kirja and she was a good girlfriend however he didn't want his best friend upset with him. Dunia would always be his best friend and that was all too it. He didn't mind losing this other girl for Dunia, he really didn't. He knew that there wasn't really any other way. He liked Kirja, she was beautiful and sweet and caring but he knew he couldn't do it much longer. So he was sucking everything up and going to do it. Oh he was really hoping that her family didn't hate him, he knew that she had a big family and he was hoping that all of this would go over well. He was starting to get scared.
But he sucked it up, he had to do it, he had to do it! He knew he did and he could turn around. He knew he coudln't turn around as he spotted her. He could though, he really could she hadn't seen him yet, he could turn right around and go the other way. But as he was thinking these things she spotted her and she stopped. He was late and he knew that wasn't a good start but he was hoping that all of it would go over well. That was for sure. He approached slowly and put a smile on his face, it wasn't compeltly a real smile but it was enough of one where she wouldn't suspect anything. Or at least he was pretty sure of it. He hoped she wasn't.
"Hello," He said plainly as he greeted her before leaning in and nuzzling her nicely. It was all in a friendly manner, he didn't want to act too nice and then make it even harder to do all of this.

As Quetza walked closer to her she knew that she couldn't turn around at the moment. She knew that there wasn't a chance to turn around and go the other way that was for sure. She paused before she started to walk closer to him meeting him half way. She knew that there was no turning back now. He was here and she was going to break up with him, she knew this at this point. She paused before she nudged him in a greeting, she could feel how awkward all of this was and she just wanted to turn right back around and go back home. No matter how much she didn't really enjoy the idea of this confrontation she wasn't in the mood for this kind of thing, she just wanted to be home back in the pride playing her drum with her sister, anything other then this.
She paused as she looked at her and then flicked her tail around a few more times and then flopped back on her haunches. "Quetza we have to talk." She said even more simply, she knew there was no turning around at all at this moment, she couldn't tell him that she was going to go home, she couldn't just leave. She had to follow through with this hole breaking up thing. "It's really important and you really need to pay attention." She talked quickly trying to get to her point quickly so that she could get this done quickly. She didn't want to make it long and drawn out. She really wasn't in the mood for that.

Quetza felt the same butterflies in his stomach that Kirja had. He wanted to go home he wanted to go back to Dunia or his mother or even one of his siblings and he wanted to go do something other then what he was about to do. He really was feeling the same way that the other female was feeling. He bit his lips and he closed his eyes a few times. He really wasn't happy. He really wanted to do something else. He sighed for a moment and then wiggled his toes, looking down awkwardly as he greeted the lioness back. He was working up the courage to talk that was until he beat her to talking.
He was surprised by her urgency in her voice. He flicked his ears as he thought about what was going on and took in what she was saying. "We do have to talk." He agreed before shaking his head a few times as he thought about what he was going to do. But as he listened to the lioness he was wondering what she had to say. "You go first. I really want to know what you have to sssay." He always talked with a hiss in his voice but right now he was distracted by it, trying to focus on everything but what he had to say next, he was glad that he could put it off some with leeting the other lioness talk first.
But that wasn't a good idea, he really didn't listen to the female start to talk before he blurted out as she was speaking. "We have to break up.

Kirja looked at the male and took a deep breath in, she was told to go first and it appeared as if that was what was going to happen. She took a few moments as she thought about it taking in the ideas of what she was going to do, taking in what she needed to do and thinking about how she was going to say it. She paused for a few moments before then she started to speak. She still spoke quickly she as nervous she didn't know what to do about all of this and she was scared of hurting him or upsetting him.
She flicked her hair out of her eyes before she looked up and looked at him and then sighed before she started to talk. "Alright, look, you and Dunia should be together much more then you and I should." she paused as she took a deep breath in looking at him before she continued to talk. "And... Well even though I don't exactly want to break up with you at the same time I know you'd be happier with her and so I don't want to keep you from your best friend any more because I know for a fact that you and her get along a lot and I know that she was upset at you and I don't want her to be upset at you anymore and I want to..."
She was interrupted and as she was interrupted she looked at the male a little confused, that was basically just about what she was going to say. She felt a heavy feeling of relief come from her, she was still a little sad but she was glad that he seemed to feel the same way, it was a wonderful feeling. "You mean... you feel the same?" She asked him curiously as she looked at him, he also looked kind of sad.

Quetza looked at her a little confused at what she was saying. He was sure that it was confusing because of him spacing out with what the lioness was saying before. But then again she just basically said that she felt the same that he felt, she wanted to break up too, she knew that it was good and he felt like a huge thing was lifted from his shoulders and it was a very amazing feeling. He looked at her with a relieved look before he spoke again "I guessss I do."
He nodded at the idea before shuffling his feet a few times thinking about what he was going to do next. "Isss that all too it?" He asked her curiously, he had never done this thing before. He wasn't too sure of what to think of all of this, was that all to it. He blinked before speaking again. "Don't get me wrong, you're a beautiful female, and I really do enjoy your company it'sss jussst that... Dunia hasss been upssset and..." His voice trailed at the idea he didn't like his best friend upset any more and he figured it was because he had a girlfriend and he didn't want to do that to her anymore.

She looked down at her paws, it was true and even though it was very sad she was glad that it was going to be over with, ther ewasn't anything that she really had to deal with at the moment and she was going to be able to go home and relax soon once again. This made what ever was left ot talk to him about a little easier to handle that was for sure. "Well you see She said simply with a small smile. "I agree with all of that Dunia has been upset and I don't want to be the reason for that anymore. I want you to be with her and be happy with her because I know you're happy with her."
She then chuckled slightly as she nudged him and then chuckled once again. "It appears as if thats really all to it I guess..." She paused and then grinned from ear to ear. "I think... I think that all to it huh?" She looked at him curiously before chuckling quietly and nodded to him. "Best of luck of course." She nodded again as she started to wander away from him heading toward the pride where she came from before a smile on her face. It was nice head home for a little while and take a break. She was glad that was over.

He let out a deep breath as he looked at her and then nodded in agreement with her. He was glad that he was going to be able to go home now, he could relax for a little while and take a break. "Thank you for underssstanding." He relaxed as he spoke before flicking his hair out of his eyes and he started to stand up and he was going to start going the other way. He let out a sigh of relief once again before nodding to her.
"Bessst of luck to you too my friend." He nodded at the idea before he started to walk away himself, he felt like he could relax now, he could go home and not worry about anything else, he was going to have to find Dunia and he wasn't sure of what was going to happen but he was hoping that it was all going to turn out good from there.
