Amethyst squeezed her blue eyes shut. The wind kept blow things into them. She blinked several times trying to see around herself more clearly through the strong wind. The wind was tugging at her long wings, but she wasn't sure if she was ready to fly alone.

Trusting Alex was difficult to do and so was flying for the first time, but she wasn't sure if she was ready to go it alone. Amethyst was still unsure of her own flying abilities and still, some of her flying fears often bubbled up within her when she looked longingly at the sky. It had been nice with Alex, but the wind was stronger now and she was alone, very alone. Her uncertainties caused her distress.

Amethyst closed her eyes tightly again, feeling a tad sick with worries. She took a deep bearth and thought. What to do? What to do.

Amethyst started to pace. Pacing often helped calm herself. It actually helped her quite alot today. Her stomach stopped churning and her emotions turned cheery. Now that she thought about it why should she feel so worried that she felt sick? With a little pep talk to herself she felt like she was glowing. Today could be a good day yet!
