A discussion about how you can save the world?

Not likely. This be a ranting thread.

I keep trying to make people happy and keep myself happy too. I try to keep my grades up and do things I'm told to do. None of it seems to be enough lately. I just feel like I'm not good enough for anything. Meh.

Ashahis, if others are asking too much of you, and it's not for just reasons, perhaps you should ask why you seem to be able not to make them happy.

Honestly, making you happy is the most important thing. If your friends, parents, or teachers can't be happy with your best, don't let them get you down. Tell them you're making your best effort, and if they can't be ok with that, then you know where the problem lies. As long as you're above board on this, you are the winner.

*hugs*

I know it's a pain, though. Sometimes, things just never seem...right.

So rant away! I'll root for you!

Aww, thanks Jiggy. ^.^ *hugs* There's some problems with telling my teachers that I'm doing my best.

#1: My first teacher is both me and my computer.

#2: So is my mother.

Yeah but your Mom also needs to know when to let you just let you have a few foibles, and a little lag time on occasion, even if she is your teacher.

And if you're being that hard on yourself, you need to step back and breathe and come back to it later. It'll help.

As for your compy, well...since it's made by humans, it is, therefore, a fallible teacher, too. Plus if it gets outta line, you can just unplug it, or drop it out a 5 story window, no?

Might be an expensive therapy, but it works. Nothing like a satisfying crunch to make you feel all better!

I've always found that taking a few whacks at a solid object (i.e. a wall, street lamp, door, etc.) usually helps rid frustration. I've also learned not to stress over things I can't control, if I've done all that I could and it still doesn't turn out right then I know it wasn't my fault and move on.

My doggie does that, too. She cracks me up...when she doesn't wake me up.
