 So far her week had been very uneventful she had not come across anything interesting and was growing bored. She wanted to do something but what was there to do..? She knew not anyone and was glad she did..The only one she could go to was Pavi and she had not seen him for awhile...She wanted to meet someone else and play her game with them..Of course she was different to ones she did not know than to the ones she loved.
She sighed her glowing eyes searching for someone or something. She really was growing bored and wanted someone else to challenge her and of course this time they would not get through. No one but the one she loved and her brother would be allowed to see her face..Not even friends if she manged to ever make some.
She gave up looking and sat down and turned very still. She lay there quietly and hoped someone might chance upon her and think something was wrong. She smiled to herself waiting watching....

Things had finally settled down, gotten back to normal since the attack had happened on his herd. Everyone had been shaken up. It's been a slap to the face of everyone who had viewed it as such a safe place to be. Sure he wouldn't leave the herd from fear but now he knew they'd all be more careful with how they went about their daily lives. Sure things would gradually become a safe place again but for now.. the air around the herd lands was... jumpy at best. It was a bit depressing really. He wanted something fun to do, some one to make laugh. Ali was who he needed to find, or just some one in general.... His hair flopped around carelessly as his head bobbed, green eyes searched about his surroundings thought his forelocks that always lay over his eyes.((to save my sanity #5C585 cool )

She lay there in the silence not even the birds could be heard overhead. She heard the crunching of leaves and knew something was approaching. She stopped breathing for a moment catching it but all she saw was a rabbit. She let her breath out and kept looking ahead. If someone did come upon her they would surely be frightened. Her glowing eyes and her mask were enough to scare one away.
Her plan though was not working well so she decided to get up and look herself for someone. She quietly walked through the forest when she almost crashed into someone or something. She panicked hoping they had not seen her and took cover under the trees.
When she looked back out she saw it was only a Stallion not a walker and kalona and for that she was relived. She smiled knowing his reaction when he saw her.
With that she stepped out into the open and fixed her eyes upon him breathing slowly.
"Hello..Stranger..Are you..Afraid..?"
Something about Pavi had changed her and for some reason she could not resit talking first. She had been changed by him and this was proof of that but she was and still could be very deceiving..

He adjusted his sight on the mare as she came out of hiding, having stopped as he felt something nearly crash into him. She wore a peculiar mask. interesting it was. He was.. curious about it. Still one shouldn't be rude when spoken to. Giving her a goofy grin he spoke. "Afraid? Should I be? Am I in distress?" He gave a quick look around. She didn't seem like she would eat him. And Ali definitely looked a far cry scarier than this mare did. and she was rather war once you got her to drop her walls. "So, are the rabbits on ambush?" His short floofed tail wagged like a dog's did. This was a nice change.. a challenge to possibly cause this mare to giggle, laugh the great sound of some one laughing at something he's purposely done for such a reason.

She was taken aback by this Stallions attitude. He seemed to think she was the kind for joking and playing around. That was not her style..Why was he grinning at her like that?? She wanted to knock that look off his face but she in time she would..Others should fear her not take her for a joke..She may not be a Kalona or a Walker but who says others breeds cant live up to be that way?
"Not distress...because an unknown mare has approached you.."
She frowned he eyes narrowing under her mask. She would play along but only for the time being..This one would never hear her story she felt nothing for him at all as she did for Pavi. This one would mean nothing to her he was not her type.. not the type she wanted to be friends with anyhow..
"Rabbits..There are many around these parts..But ambush..?"
She watched his short tail wag and figured he thought he was part dog. Her heard friend had thought he was part lion..She knew though if this Stallion wanted a challenge why of course she would give him one.

He chuckled, a deep rumbling sound thick, sweet. "Ah but rabbits are crafty! they're cute, fuzzy but crafty.. always looking for some one to ambush with their fluffy cute looks!" He have another grin, wide,playful. He was a picker upper. one who tried to make awkward moments less... tense with his jokes and goofing around. "Besides. You shouldn't try to think you'd be so scary just because you're a stranger." He chuckled again. "Buck up lass give a smile, giggle a little." His ears perked. "I'm Shilo." He waited for her to speak. no, he didn't want a out right battle. just to get to know her some, ease the tension she seemed to have. Why were mares so up tight?

Adalyn frowned even more. This Stallion seemed to be the kind that was always stayed positive..Not what she was looking for..She wanted someone she could scare away but he seemed to be not even affected by her ways.. She would of felt better if he had run off but he stayed put like a rock. She did consider walking away but she was not rude so she stayed put. To her he seemed hyper and annoying.
"Ha..fluffy and cute..I bet rabbits would run from you..So small..They have a reason to fear horses.."
She was starting to feel more and more like she did not belong here. She was going to feel bad if she brought this stallion down but that was what she did..Making others fear her made her feel safe..Somehow Pavi had gotten through that side of her..She thought of him now and then looked at the stallion grinning in front of her. No wonder they were not getting along.. This one in front of her had a positive ray around him. She did envy him in a way.
"Im a stranger who has glowing eyes and a mask..Who says i would be comforting?"
She refused to smile or even laugh with him. It would take much more to even open her a little. He would have to be willing for one..And even if she did not want to be friends he had to be willing to be hers..Then she may open herself but not now..
"Ha..Ha..You do know this is not really funny..right?"
She pretends to laugh with him in a sarcastic way. She could not help herself to that. She was not trying to be rude but it was her personality.
"Well Shilo...my name is Adalyn..not that it means were friends or anything.."
She sighs shifting slightly. He was not much of a challenge but she was just the opposite. At first she never would of said her name to anyone but she was open to that now..It was not as she thought that if one knew your name they could control you..Names meant nothing in this world

"And fascinating those glowing eyes are. Rather.. Illuminating." He beamed some. "But who says you cannot be comforting. Just because one looks big, strong, noble does not mean that they should be.. ah a tree is strong indeed but it bends and adjusts as it will in the wind will it not? As for the bunnies, it depends on if you're actively trying to step on them if they flee or not... most times I find that they'll scurry around giving you enough room but they don't poof all together." He leaned out his neck so as to get a better look at the mask she wore. "How interesting. Nice workmanship.. quite lovely. Do you wear it for fun?" Oh she could be as rude as she pleased, or as cool toned as she wanted only one mare in these lands had ever angered him and that was because she was an estranged mare who thought herself a goddess and she'd even buried him alive. How irritating she'd been amusing but irritating. His head canted to the side causing him to look even goofier. "Adalyn eh? Well it's a pleasure making your acquaintance." He allowed his tongue to loll out the side of his mouth as he smiled. It only stayed a small moment before he shook his head, tossing his forelock out of his face long enough to allow green eyes to be seen.

"I am and should not be fascinating.. You can call me what you want..If i am to you then be it.."
She was growing impatient she wanted to leave this stallion and go back to where she was. She knew though that was not the right thing to do.
"A tree is a tree..In time i may adjust i dought you care though..I look the way i do because i feel the need to..I am at peace when by my mate even if that does not last.."
She blinks her eyes feeling she just gave away to much info about her life. She shakes her head mad at herself for filling this stallion in part way.
"Rabbits are smart creatures..If one dies the others will mourn its death..I do know that if i died not many would be by my side.."
She backs up slowly as he turns his gaze to her mask. As long as he never asked her to take it off she would be fine. Not another soul could see her face till after Pavi..After he was out of her life but that would not be for quite some time she knew
"Fun?? Why would one where a mask for fun? I feel the need to hide my face from those like you..Those that would try to do what your doing now..You will feel no connection to me if you do not know who i am.."
She snorts and backs up even more noticing Shilos tounge hand out of his mouth for a brief second. He seemed to know nothing about this world..He knew no suffering but he would..No one could stay forever happy
"Is it a pleasure?? Are you sure of that?? We are still but strangers in this vast world..Who says its good we meet?"
There under his fur she saw his eyes they were a shade of green but did dogs even have green eyes..? She shook that thought out of her mind she would ask no questions only receive them

His ear gave a small flick. She certainly was a shielded one. that was sure. Perhaps some one had done her wrong once long ago. That he knew all too well himself. The pain of some one else trying to mold, shape, force you to be who your weren't. If she didn't want to take town her shields, it wasn't his place to force her. "Look, I meant you no offense, I just thought the mask was interesting. I've never seen glowing eyes and they looked rather.. peculiar.. though not in a bad way." He have her yet another grin. Ah so she had a mate then? How fascinating. She wasn't ugly or anything. She was rather.. well formed, though he couldn't see her face. He'd wager she had a nice face. "Ah masks could be fun though I suppose.." He gave a small shrug, never stepping closer than he'd first been. He'd let her back up so she didn't feel we was trying to pull the wool over her eyes. After all He was no wolf in sheep's clothing. He had a great respect for females, they did so much after all. He hardly thought she'd be as forgotten as she'd said she'd be when she dies. After all didn't everyone linger on some one's mind?
"Alas, be it for good or Ill I'm sure I'll not yet forget our meeting how ever brief it may be." She backed up even more? How odd.. was he starting to frighten her some how? His eyes once more were swallowed up by his forelock as it flopped back into his face. "How ever. It would seem I've made you uncomfortable with my presence. Perhaps I should allow you to pass the rest of this day... unbothered." He gave her a warm smile. He was no idiot. Some times mares just seemed to get mad for no reason and this one definitely was showing her irritation with him. He stepped to the side some, giving her a brief nod. Would sh even bother to try and keep up their conversation? Or would she simply just leave him to leave without so much as another word?

It was starting to reach her the guilt of her actions. Of course she wanted friends but the way she was kept them away. She could not help who she was..At least though the spirits that plagued her had not show up all day and for that she was thankful. She saw the expression on his face but it was quickly replaced by yet another grin. Should she left him through to her..? She wished she had someone to ask..
"It is true not many have eyes that glow..I do know i am different but not always was i like this.."
She frowned debating weather or not to share some of her life with him. Even if that meant he had won her over as a friend. She knew her brother would tell her to take this chance so she did. One more person who saw her face would it really matter? She had promised herself not to show anyone else but her gut was saying otherwise.
"Masks can be fun..Mine is for protection and to scare others away.."
She felt a smile forming on her face but quickly frowned hoping he did not see her starting to break. She could be very deceiving in the way that at first she seemed harsh and cold but then if you keep trying she would open up.
"You forget those things you dont pay mind to..If you always think about something of course you will remember it..At least your not asking for my story or begging me to take off my mask..You seem to have respect for those around you.."
Of course she was lieing that was how she feel in love..Pavi had asked to see her face and of course she let him see it..That had brought them closer..Shilo had nothing to do with her but still..
She stood still when he moved closer wondering what he would do next. She was surprised when he moved to one side as if to let her leave. Leaving was the last thing on her mind
"You are not a bother..You are much the opposite.. I do not plan to just walk away from here.."
She was frozen now wondering what to do next

"I see, then I shall stay. You seem interesting, nice. if a bit curt.." He smiled wide, friendly. "But then I guess even the happiest of individual could be curt if they'd been hurt once. I don't mean to imply or anything.." He gave a nod. "I see, so it's more than a metaphor...." He pondered the irony of how most built up a mask of actions to protect themselves or deceive others into thinking one thing when their intent from the start had been malicious. "But then if your eyes were never aglow to start.. I wonder.. How did it come about that they came to be a lovely glow?" It hadn't been meant at a pick up line of any sort. The different often seemed to appeal to him. The more estranged the more unique he viewed it, much like a mole could be seen as a mark of beauty. He'd been outcasted by his previous herd because he enjoyed making others laugh with his goofy antics. No, his mother's herd had been strict, uptight.. No wonder his father had left when he'd been a foal. Where was he now? Shaking his head, he hadn't meant to wander off into his own thoughts. "I'm glad though that you don't plan to leave. I'd very much like to get to know you a bit more, that is if you'd be so willing."

"I have never been hurt but i am haunted by the past..Every action i do is a reaction from my past.."
She frowns now unsure how to go about this. She sighs and gives up this stallion was never scared of her and never would be. Again she failed and let the other side of her show. She just could not stay and keep her feelings away.
"My eyes glow because me and my brother were cursed in a way..My parents were killed and somehow we had become spirits like me are.."
She frowned again and shakes her head half angry that she is telling her life story to yet another stallion no matter who he may be. This was something she wanted sceret but somehow the truth always came out.
"Im willing only to do what you are.."
This stallions acts were somehow winning over the side of her only seen by her mate it felt odd and wrong but it also felt right. She was very confused now and her head was swirling round and round. He was to kind that was what bugged her the most..

"I see. A shame about your parents... But maybe.. not a curse? I mean sure it could have come about in the form of a curse.. but maybe there's something more behind it? I guess I should be more bitter.. My herd had me pegged as worthless because I wouldn't be glorified.. I wouldn't prance, and show off like they would. So I was pretty much looked down on and called worthless because I wouldn't submit to such snobbery.. A regular disgrace to my mother" He shrugged. "I left them and their closed minded ways behind months ago but then.. Enough about me." He smiled warmly. "Tell me, does it ever get tiresome hiding behind a mask?" It was in his own way an encouragement to let her shields drop, open up and speak more if she would, possibly take her mask off. If she did it was up to her he wasn't going to force anything from her.

"Not a curse? I can see Spirits how can that not be a curse..? They come to me at random times and sometimes i watch them..They just stand some stare back.."
She frowns at his story not knowing what to say back.
"Im sorry you were called worthless..Past is past though s it not? It seems you have recovered quite well.."
She would of loved to go back to her past. To feel her parents embrace was all she could ask for. They were taken away from her when she was to young to understand..Her kind brother wtahcing over her..
"At least you here in a better place now..Your free to do as you wish.."
She ponders her life for a moment
"Yes but i have taken it off before..My mate had begged me to that was how he won me over..Take that into mind when you find one you trust and would love.."
If he kept going on like this who knows she might take off her mask many emotions were floding her mind and she could not even think clearly. He was taken advantaged of her while she was down in some way. She sighed tired of standing and sat down
