The Essenzia Famiglia Base
The Essenzia Famiglia History/Member List

User Image

The Essenzia Famiglia's mansion serves not only as a base for the famiglia, but as a place of residence as well. Some--like the boss, Nadia--may choose to permanently live in it as a home, while other members are free to come and go as they please.

Despite that fact that their base is a mansion, there is a decidedly comfortable air to it. The bedrooms are of an average size--not tiny, but not excessively large either--and the general color scheme of the mansion, both exterior and interior, seems to be primarily white, gold, cream, light yellow, and rich shades of red. This mansion is a bit smaller than the mansions of some of the other famiglias that reside in Tokyo, but it has all the necessities that the Essenzia require.

As a neutral group, the Essenzia Famiglia has no problems with other mafia families visiting their base. However, they are prohibited from going down into the basement, and they must gain the permission of one of the guardians or Nadia first before they come in--they can not simply waltz in, after all!

First Floor:

Living Room

The living room is directly to left upon entering the mansion. It is the third
largest room in the mansion, and it's furnished with soft, cream-colored
plush couches. A large television is situated on a television/bookcase
unit, and a fireplace sits in the corner in the far left.

Library

The set of double doors in the back of the living room connects to the
library. As the second largest room in the mansion, it is filled with
multitudes of books, each placed carefully in mahogany-colored shelves
that are aligned in neat rows and along the walls. Unlike the rest of the
mansion, the library's color scheme consists of dark, rich reds and is
more dimly lit for the sake of comfort.

Ballroom

The largest room in the mansion. The room is primarily white, but golden
accents add an air of elegance. Crystal chandeliers hang overhead, and a
large stage sits at the far end of the ballroom. There is a long table to the
left of the stairs that is meant for refreshments, and chairs are neatly
stacked in the corner of the room until they are needed.

Dining Room/Kitchen

To the right of the entryway is the dining room, and a small door in the
dining room leads the the kitchen. The dining room is rather simple,
consisting of a large table and approximately twenty chairs.

Second Floor:

Boss' Office

Nadia chose one of the smaller rooms for her office. Her desk sits in front
of a large window that allows her to oversee the front yard. In the center of
the room is a small coffee table, and cream-colored couches surround it.
There would be enough room for Nadia and her guardians--or 6 people--to
sit comfortable, but any more people would have to stay standing.

Nadia's Room

This room is at the very end of the long hallway. Nadia took some liberties
with her bedroom. Since the general color scheme of the bedroom was
originally cream, white, and red, she simply replaced the deep red tones
with a softer pink. Her bedroom is generally neat, but there is sometimes
a scattering of paper on her desk. She typically keeps her bedroom door
locked if she isn't inside.

6 Bedrooms (Guardians)

Nadia especially reserved the six bedrooms that are closest to her room
for her guardians, whether or not that decide to use it. Of course, they are
more than welcome to select other rooms if they aren't comfortable with
where they are. She is more than open to allowing them to change the
colors or style of their rooms if they so wish to. (If you'd like to have a
specific description for what your guardian's bedroom is like, send me a
PM of the description?)

6 Guest Bedrooms

Aside from the six rooms reserved for the guardians, there are six smaller
rooms. These are kept in the case that someone--such as either a
stranger or friend in need--requires somewhere to stay.

Basement:

Training Chamber

A large and bare room. The walls are specifically covered with thick layers
of metal to ensure stability, safety, and to block out sounds. There is
currently nothing particularly special about this room aside from its usage
as a training area.

Meeting Room

In some ways, the meeting room is similar to the dining room in the
sense that main focus is the large table and the many chairs that
surround it. However, there is a small surveillance room connected to the
meeting room in which the footage from the various surveillance cameras
on the vicinity can be viewed.

Outdoors:

Garden

Behind the mansion is a large garden. While the flat plains and grass
make it a rather pleasant place to do some simple sparring or training on
a nice day, the garden is particularly beautiful in the spring time. However,
as wide array of lovely and rare flower species grow here, Nadia is open to
training in the garden/backyard area so long as everyone kindly refrains
from destroying anything.

Hedge Maze

In the center of the garden in a hedge maze. The walls of the maze tower
approximately eight feet overhead, and the maze itself is circular in
shape. It can be used simply as something for fun/to pass the time, or
some of the more creative members may find ways to use the maze in
their training regime.

Nadia Essenzia-Suzuki
Essenzia Famiglia Boss

The girl was rendered speechless the minute she walked through the mansion's doors. Eyes wide, her gaze swept the foyer with an expression of sheer shock. She stepped forward slowly, the tapping of her boots echoing against the smooth floors.

"A-are you sure this is okay?" Nadia bit down on her bottom lip, her face betraying both her hesitation and awe. She was well-aware that the Essenzia famiglia would need a headquarters, but to purchase such an expensive mansion as if it were nothing seemed...well. While she was well aware that her family wasn't poor (on the contrary, they were really very well off, and the fact that they just bought this mansion backed up that fact), the nineteen year old girl found that it just seemed rather excessive. Considering that she had grown up with her family in a small, modest-sized apartment, the mansion just felt far too large.

"We're not a very large famiglia," she pointed out, moving forward to run her hands along the ornate framework of the stair railings, "So is it really necessary to buy something this big?" Her gaze slid upwards towards her uncle, who merely grinned in response and offered her a casual shrug.

"Your mother said that this mansion reminded her of the Essenzia headquarters back in Italy," her uncle, Innocenzo, replied, "And as you know, I don't have the heart--or the guts--to go up against your mother, so..." Trailing off, he chuckled lightly before sweeping out his hands. "Anyways, this place is all yours. Well, until you gather some guardians, at least. How is that going anyhow?"

Nadia grimaced at the question, glancing over her shoulder to offer her uncle a weak smile, "Well, it's not easy," she admitted, running a hand through her pale blonde-pink hair, "I may have found someone though? She's coming by later to meet me." In all honesty though, the young woman was finding her sudden inheritance of the Essenzia famiglia to be rather overwhelming. There had been so much to do--sign up for formal martial arts lessons, find a place to serve as headquarters, meet with those who had connections with the previous generation--and even with those things done, there was still much that Nadia had to see to.

"You can do it! Good luck with that girl dropping by, whoever she is." Innocenzo ruffled his niece's hair affectionately before heading towards the doors, "That being said, I've got some business to take care of. Will you be alright on your on for a bit?" When Nadia nodded in reply, he offered her a grin and a goodbye before leaving the mansion.

After waving and watching him leave, the young woman heaved a sigh and turned her attention back to the foyer, propping her hands up on her hips. "Guess I should explore and get my bearings. Mm, I wonder where my room is?"

Sveta sighed, sitting in a taxi, waiting to get to the Essenzia famiglia base. She had first found out about the famiglia after leaving a marketplace in America. Although, it's not always easy with trying to find a famiglia to join. Her younger brother should know. After all, he had joined up with the famiglia her father was once apart of. Just then, her phone rang. Opening up, she was greeted by a familiar voice. "Hi there sis! How's the trip going for you?" Her brother asked her through the phone. "I'm doing fine... I'm making my way to the famiglia I had recently joined to meet the boss." She answered him, a slight smile on her face. "Really? Well that's nice. Talk to me later after you meet up with your boss, okay?" He told her, although, Sveta could tell he was smiling as well. "Alright, I talk to you later then..." She replied before hanging up.

After a while, Sveta had finally made it to the Essenzia famiglia's. She payed the taxi driver the right amount of money before saying good-bye to him as he drove off. When she turns to make her way over to the mansion, she was a bit suprized at the result. She saw that the mansion was fairly big compared to other ones she had seen. She takes one last look at the mansion before walking up to the door and knocking on it.
"Hello? Is anyone here? I'm the new guardian to your famiglia!" She called out from outside. She didn't even bother to check if the door was unlocked.

Nadia Essenzia-Suzuki
Essenzia Famiglia Boss

Nadia had just been about to ascend the stairs--having already taken the first few steps up--when she heard the sudden knock on the door. Jumping a little, she leaned over the railing to peer at the set of double doors. Did uncle forget something here? Ah--or could it be...? As she hurried back down, she could see a feminine figure through the glass of the doors. Nadia perked up when she heard the other young woman call out--so she was the guardian that she was waiting for--before she hastily moved forward to open the door..

"You must be miss...Farron?" Nadia greeted her with a smile, bobbing her head politely, "I'm Nadia Essenzia-Suzuki, the...the boss of this famiglia." She grimaced at how strange it felt to introduce herself as the boss. Was she really ready for this job? Ready to become a leader instead of a passive follower?

Well, there wasn't much reason to dwell on it since she had no choice. Pushing these thoughts aside, she quickly moved aside so that Sveta could enter the mansion. "I'm sorry, I'm being rude. Please come in!" She made a sweeping motion with her hands when she welcomed the other girl in. "I can show you to the rooms and you may pick one out as your own. If you're tired--you flew here by plane, right?--you're free to rest in your room after."

With that matter out of the way, Nadia fidgeted uncertainly. Was there...was there anything else that she had to do? She could ask to show her new guardian around the mansion or around Tokyo, but she didn't want the persist in the idea in the case that Sveta was tired from her trip.

Sveta grinned, trying to make the girl comfortable around her. It seems as though she was new to running a famiglia. Not only that, but the girl seemed a bit shy as well. When she let her inside, she walked in, taking in the looks of the place. Then, she turned to face Naida, beginnning to speak.
"Please, call me Sveta. You are my boss, are you not? So you shouldn't be se formal." She smiled a bit more, trying to be friendly with her new boss. To Sveta, she never thought that this day would come. She was now in a famiglia, and was able to keep her promise to her dad. Her dad thought that Sveta had potential. She was smart, cunning, and made her father proud. Not that she was gloating, or so to speak. "Oh, and I did come here by plane and would like to rest in my room for a bit. Maybe get settled in the place as well. After I am ready, perhaps you could show me around the area? I am fairly new to Tokyo and would like to know about the place a bit more." She says to her, thinking about what places could Tokyo have for her. It intregued her that she would be getting to know yet another new country. Of course, she would have to stay calm and wait until her boss is ready to go. It would be rude to do something so quickly without having another person's say.

Well, this girl was certainly friendly enough, at least! Nadia had to admit that that came as a great relief considering how nervous she had been. "W-well...if I'm to call you Sveta, then you're more than welcome to simply call me Nadia. Regardless of the fact I'm the boss, I admit I would also be a little more comfortable if we drop any formalities." The corners of her lips tugged upwards in a smile as she stretched her hand out towards the other girl, "It's nice to meet you, Sveta! I...I look forward to working with you!"

Nodding quickly, Nadia jerked her head in the direction of the staircase, "The bedrooms are upstairs. I'll show you to the rooms, and you can pick the one that you're most comfortable with!" She then stretched out her hands, tilting her head as she peered up at Sveta, "Shall I help you with carrying your bags?" she offered politely. Her smile widened slightly when Sveta mentioned being shown around and, in response, Nadia nodded enthusiastically.

"I certainly wouldn't mind showing you around! It would be good to get used to your bearings as soon as possible, after all." Considering their line of work, she wouldn't be surprised if they had to be called out in the middle of the night every so often to settle a fight or a dispute. In that case, knowing one's way around the city would be a huge advantage.

Nadia had to admit that, despite her initial reaction to having to take over the Essenzia family, this job suddenly seemed a lot more appealing and exciting. It would actually be rather nice to have a small group of people working together, wouldn't it?

Sveta nodded taking her hand and shook it. She pulled her hand back once she was done, and spoke. "I look forward to working with you too Naida." She picked up her bags and shook her head. "And, no thank you... I can carry my bags. Sveta then moved forward, toward the stairs. She started walking up them, looking forward the whole entire time. She seemed to be having a bit of fun with meeting new people. Sveta was excited, now that she is now a guardian of a family. The whole thing seemed to make her even more curious than before. This made her wonder what her father's experience was when he was in the mafia. Her mother had told her that he didn't play a major roll, like a guardian or boss would, but she was still excited.

Naida had a friendly personality, and it made Sveta even more comfortable to be at a different country as well. She couldn't wait to see Naida fight, that way she would determine if she was a good fighter or could need improvement. Sveta was still learning to fight more as well, but she wants to know her boss than just a personality. Sveta couldn't wait to learn more about the family too. She had only just heard of the famiglia while doing some grocery shopping. In addition to that, the famiglia was already in its fourth generation so it would be nice to learn about what it was in the past.

When Naida spoke up about agreeing to take her on a tour of the place, she nodded, showing she was listening.
"Correct. It would be much easier to get around Tokyo without having to ask for directions, or even getting lost!" Sveta responded, thinking about what Japan was like, compared to her homeland, Mother Russia, and America. It was funny, just thinking about calling Russia, 'Mother Russia', but that was what most people called it these days back home.

She hesitated but drew her hands back with a nod and a small grin. "Well, if you're certain that you don't need any help with your bags. Please do feel free to ask if you do, though! Anyways...shall we?" She turned towards the stairs, glancing over her shoulder just to double-check that Sveta was really fine with her bags.

"The rooms are up here," she explained, hopping up the stairs two at a time, "My room is at the very end of the hall--you're free to knock if you have a concern or if you simply want to chat--and three rooms on either side of mine have been reserved for the guardians." Upon reaching the second floor, Nadia took a moment to stop and gape. Her uncle had been the one who had planned the bedroom arrangements, so she had never had the chance to see the second floor until now. The deep red carpet, cream walls, and elegant and ornate gold lights that lined the hallway walls was quite a bit for the girl to take in.

However, remembering that they were up here to find Sveta a room, Nadia cleared her throat. "My room is that one there," she said, indicating a door at the end of the hallway, "As I said, the rooms on either side of them have been reserved for the guardians. You're free to choose one of those, or one of the smaller guest rooms if you'd prefer! Ah--and I don't mind if you want to redecorate you room. I know that these colors are a bit too...fancy for some people." She motioned towards the hallway that they stood in as she spoke, a wry smile curling on her lips, "I had my own room changed around a bit too."

"A-anyways!" Nadia sighed internally, finding that she was being a little too chatty, "Go ahead and pick a room? There isn't much different aside from differences in view."

Sveta nodded, following Naida upstairs to the hallways where the bedrooms were. She listened to Naida, while making her way up. She clicks of her shoes echoed to the widely spaced area, considering that she was in a mansion. When the two of them reached the second floor, she saw that Naida gaped a little upon arriving. The whole place seemed to suprise her, probably because she was new to the whole idea of being a boss. The girl didn't seem to know much about the mafia, so maybe she was just starting off. Sveta listened to everything Naida said to her, and then waited for her to finish before speaking.

"Ah, alright Naida. So I'll just meet up with you once I'm comfortable then?" She suggested to her. She then shifts her gaze to the hallway of bedrooms, looking from side to side. It didn't really matter with which room she picked, considering that she was the first guardian she had recieved. Although, she decided to go over to the closest room to the left of her and opened the door to take a peak inside. The place looked huge, compared to the one she had back in Russia and America. She then moved back to take a peak to the room closest to her right. It looked almost the same as the one to the left, excluding the view of course. She prefered to the one to the left thought, and didn't even bother with checking the other ones. She moved back, shutting the door closed and went to the one on the left.

"I prefer this one, if that is fine..." She says to Naida, waiting for a reply. Once she had spoken, then she would enter the room to get settled. It would be rude to just say something as if it was a question and shut the door.
