mitternach sits under a tree in the darkness of night staring at his watch waiting for midnight to come, it was his favorite time, after all it was his namesake

Imogen wandered under the moonlight, her tail swishing. Her eyes fell on the lone figure under the tree, and her curiosity was piqued. She padded forward. "Hello?"

he looks up at her "ja? wer bist du?" he says in a rough German tone

he rolls his eyes "Falls Sie kann nicht sagen, ich bin ziemlich beschäftigt im Moment" he says and redirects his focus to the golden pocket watch held in his paw "es ist nur eine Stunde vor Mitternacht"
(in case you cant tell im rather busy at the moment; its only an hour till midnight)

"Oh, I'm sorry!" Imogen said, backpedaling instantly. She ducked her head, looking a bit embarrassed. "But...why is midnight important?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.

"seine die beste Zeit des Tages oder der Nacht natürlich." he says and thinks for a moment "wenn Sie wirklich müssen, können Sie hier sitzen mit mir. Ich konnte wirklich egal so oder so aber" he says rolling the watch around
(its the best time of day or night of course. ; if you really must, you can sit here with me. i could really care less either way though"

Imogen nodded. "Ah, I see." She gave him a sweet smile. Then, her expression briefly dropped. "Only if you're really okay with it," she said, padding over and sitting next to him.

he rolls his eyes "wenn ich mit wasnt es ok i wouldnt sagen, es wäre jetzt i? Ich kann nicht sagen, nur um, wenn i dont care darum, nice nice" he turns his attention from the watch to her "wer bist du eigentlich?"
( if i wasnt ok with it i wouldnt say it now would i? i cant say it just to be nice if i dont care about being nice ; who are you anyway?)

he smiles a bit " nicht wahr? Mitternacht ist die perfekte Zeit, scheinen die Sterne heller sein und der Mond ist in nur der perfekte Ort," he says a bit wistfully and looks down at this watch "seine fast hier"
( isnt it? midnight is the perfect time, the stars seem to be brighter and the moon is in just the perfect place; its almost here )

Imogen couldn't help but agree. "I suppose I've never noticed since I don't often stay out this late," she said. "I'm glad I did this tine, though."
