It was a bright and sunny morning the kind he liked best. As Kamau looked up at the sky he smiled wondering what he should do on such a fine day. He knew this forest forward and backwards and he thought of a place he could go. The first thing he thought of was the waterfall how refreshing it would be to go for a swim.

He set off for he knew it would take some time to travel out of the forest. He wished he had a friend to go with him it would be much more exciting to share this time with someone and just talk about life. He was still smiling and walked onward hoping to reach the falls before dusk as dangerous things came out at night he knew that firsthand.

They say every bird has to leave the nest as some point, and that was true even for Aisha, and yet she could not help but yearn to return. She wanted to awaken to the warmth of mother, the protection of her father, the company of her sister, but no, she would no longer have that. She was an adult now, and as an adult she had to go out in to the world and find her own place in it.

Aisha would wait though, just wait until the day comes when she would run in to one of them again. Until then though, she would make do with the company of her thoughts, memories and whomever she would end up running in to.

Sighing, the multi-breed mare shook her head at the thought. "Company of others? Seems kind of like a stretch of me at this point..."

It was true. Since she had left her family she hadn't really run in to anyone besides trees, trees, and more trees...

As he got closer to the waterfall the rushing of the water became more clear. When he finally broke out of the trees he was at the edge of the falls the crystal clear water inviting him in. He smiles at his reflection in the water and slowly waked into the surprisingly heated water. This water at the base of the falls was heated by an underground spring. Half of the water was warm and half was cold. He enjoyed the falls but he wished he had a good friend or someone to share it with. He thinks back to the one who stole his heart on words along wishing she was here in the day. Of course that was only wishing since she was a shadow and he had never even seen her.

He noticed though the trees on the other side of the falls rustled. He watched the area for a few moments but all was silent again so he went back to enjoying his time. He did wonder what could be lurking in the trees though someone could not know the falls were here and run right into the water. He shrugged his thoughts off and ducked his head under the water his mane now dripping wet.
