She became less and less of a prominent figure in his life as the boy grew, though he still came home to her side every night after helping pack up the numerous carriages and taking proper care of their horses. Being a gypsy, Rose had her obligations to steal wandering men's belongings, but made sure to keep Emil as far away from her during her "business hours", should the men catch on to her trickery and become violent. She would leave him in the care of her favourite sister, Blossom. The year Emil turned 14, Rose became seriously ill, and passed on within half a year of contracting the illness, leaving Emilian for the rest of the tribe to care for.

Blossom is a sweet woman, four years older than her younger sister Rose. Knowing that Emil was suffering a similar pain, however, she focused all her energy into pulling the young boy into a separate direction, and began readying him for the outside world, when he would have to leave the clan on his 18th birthday. Stepping in as his real mother, Blossom showered her nephew with flowers, gracing him with her turquoise-beaded necklace, and sent him off in the nearest town with a pocket full of coins. She has not seen him since that day, but still often thinks of him, allowing herself proper time to mourn, this time. 「Team」
