Optheli stretched out to her full length, the last few days with Roth, strengthened her feelings for him.She knew it was about time she told him she loved him, after all, she was sure he felt the same, or he wouldn't have been with her all this time.
yawning happily she decided to curl and wait for him, where he'd lain was cold so she thought he was out hunting or something, now that she thought about it,
it had been a couple of days since she'd eaten. She laughed to herself when she thought back on the reasons why she'd not hunted since coming to Roth's den.
She purred and rolled over on her back, paws curled into her chest slightly.

He had gone hunting, but more for the kill. He had no desire to eat right now. His stomach was in knots.
Not over hurting her, but over the excitement of getting to tell her what he was..What she'd given herself too.
Blood matted the fur around his maw from his hare breakfast. If he had been any kind of gentleman, he would have brough her some back.
But he was making a point here today. She was worthless to him, except for whether or not she produced him cubs.
If she didnt, then she had been a complete waste of his time.
The sun was high, and he began wondering if she had woken yet. If she had, she would have noticed him gone. He hadnt been there to see her
wake at all. He always hightailed it and used the excuse of hunting in the morning.

The den was quiet, and no movement shown in the shadows. She was still asleep. Good. He walked into the den, his paws heavy. A grin was on his face, wide and gleaming, save
for the red of the stain of blood. He looked eerie, but anyone who knew Roth knew he really ALWAYS did.

"Good morning." He purred, though his voice lacked the softness it usually held when he spoke to her. It had all been a cruel game.
He had had much fun playing it, but now it was time to reveal his charade. He was tired of pretending.. He missed releasing his demon.

Optheli has fallen back to slep while waiting for Roth to return, her sleep deep since to be fair, her recent sleep had been rather ... broken. She even purred a little as she slept, lost in some dream.
Her instincts at this point, ignore and dulled where the large male was concerned and she didn't sense him enter the den, like she would have if she had still been on her own out there.

As it was, she woke with a start at his voice, survival instincts kicking in when, bleary eyed, she saw a bloodstained muzzle looming over her. She shrank back for a moment, fearful but blew out a releived breath.
"Oh... Roth, it's you .. " she said, her voice quavering a little "you scared me" she would have chuckled but the tone of his purr made her tail twitch nervously without concious effort.

"My apologies." He said, without warmth. He had a tone of arrogance.. he also carried himself
as if he was an arrogant lion, who had nothing to lose. He was perfect, or in his mind he was. He flicked an ear, and smiled down on her.
The smile wasnt a friendly one. He wondered if she would even notice the slight changes in his demeanor. It was likely she would, but if she didnt, hed
be a bit more forceful.

"Went out for breakfast." He said with a nod, as he began cleaning his paws. His claws unsheathed and he cleaned them too.. Oh how he wished he could use them on
her, but that might harm her, and if she was carrying his cubs, he couldnt harm them too.
He had plenty of time in their lives to hurt them if he needed. Might as well let the potential survive.

She sat up, her tail keeping up the nervous twitch. His demeanour was changed,
"R...Roth?" she said, ears drawing back a little. He wasn't his usual self and she was concerned.
"Is everything alright Roth" she asked, taking a step towards him as he cleaned himself up.

"breakfast?" she repeated trying to look past him to see if he'd brought a kill back to the den,
her stomach growled as the scent of almost fresh blood reached her nostrils and she licked her lips a little.

"Course Im alright." He purred, a smile creeping onto his maw as he stood back up from his seated position.
He looked at her with a bit more malice in his eyes, and winked.

"What about you?" He asked, touching her chin with his paw before taking it away and laughing.
Oh he could feel Deimos'Akar rising within him. The demon clawing its way to be free. Sometimes the demon
seemed to hurt him, as he liked to say he could feel the claws deep within his chest.
But today, today it was a pleasant release.

"Yes. Breakfast. Dont be stupid, I didnt stutter did I?" He asked, looking at her with a bit of disdain. Surely she
wasnt stupid enough to not have been able to hear him.
He watched her look around him, looking for her own bit of breakfast. It didnt pain him at all to see
the confused expression across her features.

"What? Am I supposed to take care of you?" He asked.

Optheli stared, her mouth hung very slightly open at the way Roth was speaking to her. She was getting increasingly nervous by this point.
She closed her eyes when Roth brought his paw up to her chin, the way he was acting, she wasn't sure what he'd intended to do,
that much was clear in her face when she opened them again after he dropped his paw away.

Now she began to feel a little bit annoyed at his attitude towards her, "Roth what's the meaning of this" she snipped, standing her ground,
she didn't like being made to feel inferior, not one bit and when he gave her that disdainful look, her eyes narrowed and she glared at him.
"Don't you dare talk to me like that Roth .. what on earth is going on" she snapped back at him. "no i don't expect you to take care of me but
after all this time together, with me not going out to hunt, i would have thought it manners at least to bring something back" she took another step towards him,
aiming to leave the den in a huff and go hunt herself. Her tail lashed now and her ears were laid on the back on her head in annoyance.

She didnt realize it, but shed made it far too easy for him to be even more brutal towards her.
Females raising their voices at him, made him irrate. So his joking attitude drifted away and he let his own glare show through.
His eyes were angry, dark. He knew she would see the demonic presence in them.
He blocked her exit, baring his teeth at her, in an effort to force her towards the back of the cave.

"What? You dont like me? Im hurt.. Pained. Actually.. I dont really give a damn." He mused, a smile tugging on his lips.
His smiles, were far different than the ones he had used to use on her. They lacked any friendship, warmth, love.
He growled deep in his throat.

"Oh come on baby. You liked me last night, and the night before, and the night before." He purred, walking with a bit more swagger than he had.
He had been attempting to make her see him as.. a shy male before. Now he was back to full arrogance. Full ruthlessness.

"I cant help how terrible you were." He said, looking very serious at this point. "Ill talk to you however I please."

Optheli rolled her eyes as Roth blocked the entrance "Roth you're just being chil...." she paused because she'd looked up and seen his eyes,
that maw full of teeh bared at her. "R....Roth...?" she squeaked "S...stop it, you're scaring me" and she backed off, away from him.
there was something in his eyes that made her stomach clench and her heart beat hard in her chest.

Hurt in her own eyes now, she didn't want to belive this was happening, somewhere in the back of her mind she thought/hoped that this was a nightmare
and she would wake with him curled with her, but the feeling she was getting, the fear was so very real. Slowly she backed away from him, flinching when
her rump bumped the back of the den. She closed her eyes and looked away when he mentioned her being terrible, ears flat against her skull now,
her tail curled under her, between her legs "why Roth? .... please... i....." she broke off, his look didn't seem to be one that would be giving her answers.

He walked closer, more like stalked, and looked at her with a small gleam of excitement.
"Don't worry, beautiful. I can garauntee this is the me you fell in love with. Love..Is that what I was to you?
You loved me didnt you? Aw..thats so.. so very.. sad." He said, his voice trailing off. He got to where he could touch her.
He licked her cheek, one broad, quick, unloving movement. It was purely sexual in his eyes. Sure, he wanted her, he wanted every female.
But he had her. He had had her many times.

"You should have known better. Should have seen right through me. Cause.. Lets just give ya a little advice. If its too good to be true.." He chuckled.

"It probably is."

His tail flicked back and forth and he rubbed himself against her again. He was enjoying feeling the fear in her body, and her eyes.
He had a quick idea to take her once more, but he refrained. He knew that it was likely she was now expecting a litter. He wondered how long
until she would know what his true plan was.

"Let me tell you one thing, and Ill only tell you once so youd best pay close attention."
He said, eyes growing serious.

"Any cubs that I may have given you, any life that you carry within thats of my seed.. They are mine. They belong to me. I will take them, and I will
raise them to be the true demons that they are. You, you will not have contact with them, and if you try and stop me, I will kill you."
He warned.

She cringed against the back of the den, her mind racing, full of possible escape routes but he held her wth his eyes when she looked back over at him.
she found that she was frozen to the spot when he looked at her, it was like he was looking right inside her, violating her somehow. She flinched when he licked her cheek,
her body quivered thinking he was going to take her like this. She was afraid yes, but still wasn't it just a few minutes before she was going to tell him she loved him?
feelings like that didn't just dissapear, she gupled and stood straight. "Why Roth?" she whispered as she tried to stand proudly like she did before today.

That was until he mentioend cubs, she hadn't even thought of that possibility and her eyes flew wide, the bravery she'd had for herself, vanishing in an instant,
IF she was pregnant she couldn't risk them by risking his ire. She held herself low and submissive again, moving around the edge of the den,
hopeing to get close enough to the exit to make a run for it. "i.... you won't have them" she spat once, still her psture was submissive.

"You won't harm me yet" she said, not trusting her words but feeling brave as she glanced to the exit "I'll run, find a pride to have them in ... you wont take them.. or me"
she said, her breathing as rapid as her mind struggled to look over the situation she was now in. This was a dangerous lion, she should have listened to her instincts.
If she was going to have cubs, she wasn't going to let him get them and she was willing to bet he wouldn't hurt her badly just yet, he needed her to be able to provide for the babies,
since it was clear he wasn't going to.

"You play a weak game," He growled. "Why would you tell me that now, and then follow
with I wont hurt you. Silly silly fool. If I dont get what I want, I WILL hurt you. Dont give me those cubs, should you be carrying them..
and lets just say you signed all your death warrants. I have no desire for you, or to not harm you now, should you refuse." He said, his eyes very very angry,
and he hoped his words were jsut clear enough. If she didnt want to give him the cubs, then he'd just kill her now. Why wait and fight it out later?

He saw her cower to the earth, but he was smart enough to know she was trying to get away. Though he wouldnt hurt her too badly -yet-, he still wasnt against hitting her.
With one swift paw swipe he batted at her head, knocking her down. Looking at her in a dominant fashion, he supposed he'd give her one more chance to change her answer.

"Ill be watching you, never relenting, never letting you get away. You are mine for the moment, make no mistake. Just because you deny me now, you didnt before. Youve signed yourself to me
until and if you have cubs. If you do not, youre free." He whispered.
"If you do.. Well.. I made myself clear. Should you choose not to obey, Ill just end you here, its no matter to me."
He said.. Though he didnt want to risk hurting the cubs, he had no choice in some things

Optheli was scared now, her bluff hadn't worked and she knew now that unless she submitted to him now he would kill her, cubs included. While she was still fairly proud, she wsn't stupid or suicidal.
She'd escape another time, maybe when he wasn't vigilant constantly. She shrank back, away from the entrance, back into the very back of the den and lowered her eyes. She took a deep breath and lifted her head to reply
when .. thwack .. her head spun as he hit her, hard enough to daze her too. Oh he was clever, he hit her head rather than her body, it wouldn't harm the cubs if she was pregnant if he hit her there.

She cringed even further, curling into herslef a little. She knew he'd not let her go, he wouldn't let his guard down, she wasn't going to get away, though he whispered of letting her go, her instincts
told her that once the cubs were born and able to be moved, she wouldn't be needed any longer. She'd need to escape somehow but for the moment she wasn't sure how. Her head rang with the echoes of the blow
and she blinked, shaking her head to try and clear it, not daring to look up at him again.

He watched her pride fall, and he took a deep breath. He had done it. He was sure. But until she agreed to him..
He leaned down to meet her eyes. His gaze a pursing stare. "What do you say?"'

Optheli had no choice, she wasn't going to throw her life away just because of her pride, she lowered her ears and lay on the ground, the floor cold against her belly. "Alright Roth...... whatever you want" she said quietly
