Sarynae smiles lightly at the warrior before holding out her hand. "Well I was thinking you might want to see the open air for a bit so I was considering a nice dinner under the moon."
Tristien smiles back and takes her hand, nodding. “That, m'dear sounds excellent. Do I need ta gather anything afore we take off?”
She shakes her head, "Of course not, I planned ahead." She patted her hand onto a small basket that was by her on the chair. "Everything is right here."
Tristien grins and glances at the basket, sniffing loudly. “Ohhh, I wonder what ye've got stuffed away in there...” He laughs. “Guess we better get a'goin so I can find out, eh?”
"As soon as we get moving, though you are only hours from resting so if anything stresses you out too much please be sure to let me know." She leans in close and kisses his cheek, "I would hate for you to get worse again after healing so well."
Tristien laughs and nods, blushing slightly at her kiss. “Aye, i'll tell ye, though I'm sure I'm fine.” He rolls his eyes and grins boyishly.
She chuckled at him lightly before gently tugging at his hand, picking up the basket in her other. With a few steps she had lead him out of the inn and up to where her gryphon stood waiting patiently, "Mind sharing?"
Tristien shakes his head, inhaling the fresh air deeply. “No, not at all. I'm jus' glad ta be outta tha' room. It gets a might stifflin' havin' a roof over me head fer so long. Though, I did manage ta talk tha keeper inta heatin' a tub o' water and lettin' me get a bath in tha front room o' me suite, so tha' accounted fer somethin.”
"Well that is good to hear, I would hate for you to be smelly." She laughs merrily, gently poking Trists belly as she does so. "Though I am glad I had a chance to wash your clothes while you were sleeping otherwise the bath would have been all for naught."
Tristien gives an expression of, ahhhh. “So ye were the one tha did so? Then I owe ye even more then, eh?” He pokes her back in the belly, and grins. “I'm guessin' nobody would wanna run with a stinkin' warrior man as meself was, eh?”
"You don't owe me anything, it was my pleasure." She climed upon the gryphon, moving forward far enough for Tristien to fit behind her. "I enjoy doing such things."
Tristien grins to himself as he climbs up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist tightly and leaning into her a bit. “So, is this place ye planned on goin' far?”
"Not too far, I wanted to make sure that the distance wasn't too great." Nudging the beast to take to the air, she guided it up towards the hills where the view of the valley was spread before them. In the sky the starts twinkled, everything illuminated by the silvery glow of the moon.
He closes his eyes and sighs, reveling in the feel of the chill wind whipping his hair about his face. Grinning to himself, he opens his eyes, casting a long glance at her naked shoulder, watching the moonlight dance across her pale skin. “Well, tha's good, tis a bit o' a chill in tha air tanight, an' we've neither one o' us got much fer cover on.”
Sarynae chuckles merrily, "Which is the other reason why I chose somewhere so close..." With a smile, she slides off the gryphon and lets Trist do the same. Turning to the hillock she reached into the basket and pulled out a blanket, spreading it out onto the ground. "So what do you think?"
Tristien peers about, nodding in approval. “Aye, this'll do nicely.” The warrior blushes slightly as his stomach rumbles. “No' ta be rude, but I'm hopin ye've got somethin' a bit more substantial hidden away than jus' soup. I've about had it with broth.” He eyes her body in her new robes. “Though were ye'd hide it's beyond me...”
"Everything is within this basket," She gestures towards the wicker form before kneeling down to remove a few wrapped packages, placing eachone down onto the blanket. The smell from the meats and breads filled the air as she unwrapped them, the final piece, a warm apple pie. "Most of the credit can go towards Marni in the kichens for this masterpiece.”
Tristien smiles and licks his lips, rubbing his hands together eagerly as he inhales the aromas of the food. “Aye, tha Marni is a regular miracle worker.” He gives a strained smile as he sees the pie. “As are ye fer plannin' all this out.” Trist begins to help her prepare the food, tossing his head to get his hair out of his face, the cool breeze catching it as he glances at her again out of the corner of his eye.
Sarynae chuckles lightly, "Anything for you Trist." She sits down across from him, her hair bound up instead of loose like she usually kept it. "I figured after all that healing you would enjoy a little change of pace." She taps his shoulder lightly, "That and a little fresh air will be good for you."
Tristien smiles softly and nods, his emerald eyes catching the starlight as he glances off at the view around them. “Aye, I'd never admit it afore the others but I was a right bit worried there fer a spell. I vaguely remember some o' the dreams tha' it brought on. It was... worrisome. Ta be out here and feel the breeze, hear ye kind voice, well, it helps reassure tha I'll be alright af'er all.”
The elf moves slightly to the side, bringing herself close to Trist, a small frown upon her brow, "I was a little worried also... some of the things you mentioned, well I do hope your dreams were at least a little more restful." She softly cups one of his cheeks with her hand, her golden eyes matching his, "Was worried that I'd loose you for a moment there."
Tristien grins bashfully, at a loss for words for a moment, he reaches up and places his hand over hers, giving it a gentle squeeze before replying. “Well, I'm from stronger stock than tha warlock realized I guess. I'll no' be makin' tha same mistakes again. Do'no' be afraid, I'm no' tha easy ta lay low fer long.”
"That is very good to hear," She smiles softly, though her eyes never leave his own, "When my healing arts failed me..." She took a small breath, "I felt like my world had come crashing down around me, but Elune still answered through the many people who helped me gather he materials for the cure." Sarynae ran her fingers through his hair, brushing it back, the food temporarily forgotten. "I give thanks that she did."
Tristien gives a weak chuckle, trying to be reassuring. Reaching up with one hand, he caressed her cheek as gently as he could with his calloused palm, letting his fingers wrap around the graceful curve of the base of her neck and twine into her hair, his thumb gently tracing the swirls of her ear. Pulling her close enough, he brushed his lips gently against her forehead, then pulled back, smiling warmly, his eyes sparkling with happiness for the moment. “Ye did well. An' I guess Elune saw fit ta help ye an tha others find yer needs, but ye are the one tha acted, with strength, compassion, gentleness, all tha things tha' make a good soul a great one. Ye did just fine.”
"I could do no less..." Sarynae leaned forward and caught his chin in her hands before he moved back to far. "Though I am very grateful to Elune for the correct path I have taken." The priest let her fingers brush against the skin of his neck before tangling them into his hair. "To see you smile is the greatest gift I could have received."
Tristien blushes slightly and smiles despite himself, letting his hand gently grip the back of her head for emphasis. “Sari, ye sell yerself short, do ye know tha? Ye 'could' do no less, yer too talented and wonderful a woman ta. And as fer a smile...” He leans in and gives her a small, gentle little kiss before leaning back and continuing. “Well, how can I help but do no other when the first thing I awaken to is yer worried, but still pretty face?”
Sarynae flushed red as she felt his lips upon hers and listened to his praise. "I am glad you awoke that day. I did not want to leave your side but for the smallest of moments." Overcome a little she looks away, glancing at the food. With a small gesture the priest breaks off a piece of the ham and lifts it up, "Come now, we should eat before this amazing meal grows cold."
Tristien lances over at the food and suddenly remembers his growling stomach. With a grateful smile he delicately took the ham from her fingers with his mouth, then he took a loaf of warm bread, still steaming as he tore of a small chunk and offered it to her in the same manner, trying to chew without being obnoxious, table manners not something he is accustomed to after so much time alone.
"Why thank you," Sari smiles before nibbling the bread, enjoying the buttery flavor of the roll. She again broke off a piece of the meal, choosing the best cuts and most flavorful morsels to offer him. Sitting next to him, her leg pressed against his, she enjoyed his closeness and warmth as the cool night air tousled their hair and watched over their bare skin.
Grinning, he accepted the food, feeding her in turn, completely conscious of the warmth radiating from where there bodies touched, but trying his best to not show it. “Madam, Marni may of made it, but ye had a masterstroke of an idea when ye thought of this...” He gestured around himself with his arms spread wide, the moon limning his face in soft light as he smiles at her.
"I'm glad you think so Trist..." She lightly brushed her fingers over his lips as she fed him, her hair slightly coming loose from the knot she had it bound in, each strand turns silver in the moonlight. The elf chuckles pleasantly, before indicating the pie. "There is also apple pie for dessert... unless there was something else you wished for." She senses his feelings but didn't want to press too hard, forming her statement into a slight jest.
Tristien raised an eyebrow, grinning playfully and glancing about, “But I see nothing else prepared...” He laughs. “But I think I can at least start with the pie. The warrior grins and pulls a small knife from his belt, neatly slicing the pie, lifting a little chunk, laden with a sweet, soft apple to her mouth, letting the steam waft towards her nose as he teases her with it.
With a melodic laugh, Sari took a bite of the pie, enjoying the flavors and texures of pastry and apple. Cutting off her own slice she holds it up to Tris's lips, letting him enjoy the delicate balance of sweet and savory. "I helped Marni make the pie, the apple come from Stormwind City."
Tristien nods appreciatively “It's wonderful. Ye both got it well an' good, I'm tellin' ya.” He chews a little more, then on a whim, leans in, using the barest flick of his tongue to lick off a small bit of the filling that perched on her lip, leaning back to grin and watch her reaction*
Upon feeling his tongue upon her lips, Sari felt a slight shiver down her spine. She blushes lightly, the piece she had been nibbling on forgotten for the moment as she licks the sugary filling off the tips of her fingers, her golden eyes watching Trist. "Thank you, I am glad you like it." Reaching over she captures the warriors hand, examining the calluses before doing the same, her tongue lightly flickering over the pads of his fingers.
Tristien grins and gives a slight moan of pleasure, his fingers sensitive to her touch despite the thick scars and rough spots. With a wicked gleam in his eye as a thought suddenly comes upon him, he dips his finger in the dish, scooping up some of the filling in it before holding it up for her to sample as well, grinning. “Of course, the last bits should go to you, for your stunning work.”
Sari chuckles lightly and takes his fingers in her mouth. She takes his hand in her own, holding it close as she runs her tongue up and down his fingers, licking the sweet filling off his finger tips. With gentle touches, her other hand reaches up to caress his cheek, her eyes never leaving his.
He closes his eyes a moment, enjoying the all to erotic feel of her tongue as she cleans the sticky syrup from his finger, leaning into her hand with his cheek before turning to plant a gentle kiss in her palm, his eyes opening as he glances side long at her as she sucks his finger, letting his eyes trace the gentle curve of her neck and the graceful shape of her delicate shoulders before turning back to watch her.
With light touches, Sari licked off the remnants of the filling, kissing her way up his arm. Fingertips brushed his ear as she whispered softly, "Je alore Trist..." The elven woman gazed upon him with a look that spoke of more than just a friendship, of caring and joy in his recovery and the almost loss. There was a hunger about her, unspoken and gentle and yet warm as the night was cool. She kissed the tips of his fingers one by one, giving him her whole attention.
Smiling to himself, he closed his eyes again and shivered slightly as he felt her kisses, opening his eyes and gazing longingly into her own eyes a moment before leaning in, letting his lips brush her temple, kissing lightly towards her ear, his breath coming in warm steady puffs over her cheek and neck before he whispered the same back to her, kissing her neck just below her ear, the warmth and desire radiating from his skin as he clutched her hand gently to his chest, allowing her to feel his steadily beating heart, as if to reassure her that he was indeed there and going nowhere.
She snuggles in close, the last of the food forgotten as she leans into him, a delicateness about her. Light finger touches run down his body as she moves her hands across his chest, feeling his warmth and desire that slowly mounts. She gazes up at him adoringly, a smile playing upon her lips as her whole being seems to make that select spot on the hillside warmer than the surrounding area, her hair shining bright in the moonlight.
Tristien grins down at her, kissing the top of her head, as she snuggles close, his breathing speeding up a little as he tries to decide whether the coy young boy act will hold up much longer, or if it was time to act simply on the completely manly feelings he was feeling. Glancing down at her shining hair and slender, alabaster shoulders, he bent, trailing light kisses from the end of her shoulder to the base of her neck, feeling a stirring deep inside him.
She felt the shivers up and down her spine as the light kisses covered the areas that the dress left to the open air. The contrast of the cool breeze compared with his warm breath tickled slightly and she felt her cheeks flush with warmth. Her hands continued to trace patterns over his check, lightly moving down to his belly before tracing a path upwards once more, teasing lightly.
Tristien growls deep in his chest, letting go of her long enough to scoot the remnants of the meal out of the way, then reaches out, wrapping his hands around her waist he picked her up, lifting her with little effort and placing her in his lap, one arm cradling the small of her back to hold her up while the other rests on her thigh, squeezing gently as he reaches up, throwing caution to the wind and kissing her on the mouth, his breath warm, his lips soft as he attempts to communicate his passion and desire in that one kiss.
Sari's breath caught in her throat as she feels her heart begin to pound. The heat deep within seemed to swell, filling her with a warmth that brought a pink glow to her cheeks and shoulders. The elf lifts her hands to his face, fingers lightly caressing his neck, moving up to softly brush the edge of his ears as she felt his lips upon hers. Her body presses against his as she sat in his lap, her ardor matching his own. It was in this moment she felt complete, her fear of almost loosing him heightening her emotions.
He holds her tightly, the world around them forgotten in the one instant that seems to last a lifetime. Tangling his hands within her hair he kisses her once more, each moment seeming sweeter than the last. A connection unlike any other, strengthened by the passing time brings a warm smile to his lips as he pulls away for a moment to gaze upon Sari, taking in the sight of her pale form that seems to shine in the moonlight like a jewel.

Sarynae woke up to the morning sun, she stretched slightly, her body brushing against Tristien. She smiles warmly at the memory of the night before. Glancing towards the basket she had brought, she slipped out of his grasp and pulled a few things out of the wicker. Placing a serving of the bread and cheese close by she knelled down and ran her fingers down Trist's back, massaging it gently.
The warrior groans and turns over, facing up at her as a lazy smile spreads across his lips. Blinking against the morning sun he opens his eyes as he peers up at her, reaching a hand up to caress her cheek. "Mmmm, good morning dear one."
"Good morning Trist..." She holds his hand to her cheek for a moment before kissing the palm softly. "I do hope you slept well?" With a smile she held him close, enjoying the comfort of them together.
Tristien wraps his arms around her tightly, holding her against his chest, he inhales deeply the scent of her hair, feeling a slight stir as he lets memories of the night before wash through his mind. Quickly though, they are overpowered by his seemingly never-ending hunger as he spies the bread and cheese she had set out. Smiling, he kissed her forehead, pulling back and murmuring. "Well, it seems you have prepared for any eventuality, eh?"
"It is something I have been taught to do, I would be remiss if I was not." Sarynae sat up after kissing his cheek softly, cutting off a small piece of cheese with her knife and adding it to the bread she broke off from the loaf. "It is not as fancy as our dinner but will be filling."
Tristien grins as he does the same, obviously oblivious in the face of food. "Well, whomever taught ye did a damned fine job, I'll say tha', though." He grins and winks, "Some skills ye've obviously just managed through natural talent." He grins widely and raises an eyebrow teasingly.
The pale elf coloured lightly at his praise and insinuation. She winked before speaking, "Yes well I have not heard any discrepancies with my 'talents'
Tristien grins and takes a bite, nodding. "No, tha's true. I'll no' complain for it. Ye've got a touch about ye m'lady."
"I have always been told I can be a little more observant to other's needs, I just use that same skill when with someone I care about." She takes a bite of her own food before reaching over and smoothing down a section of his unrily hair. "For example..." Abandoning her breakfast for the moment she produces a brush and comb from the basket and chuckles, "I enjoy doing things that are needed..." Sari lightly brushes Trist's hair.
He blushes lightly, trying not to squirm, though his grimace shows what he feels about having his hair dealt with. "Well then, I'm glad ye can pay attention ta things."
Smiling softly, Sari continued to brush Trist's hair, starting from the ends and working her way up until each strand was silky smooth "I enjoying doing so..." She moved from using the brush to running her fingers through his hair, lightly massaging his temples and neck.
Tristien closes his eyes and relaxes into her touch, trying to remain calm and not fidget for her benefit. Taking a deep breath, he inhaled the sweet morning air, seeking the scent of her that remained around them from the night before, his mind atumble as he tries to reconcile his feelings about things. "Mhmm. And what does Sari enjoy fer herself?"
"Hmmm?" She frowned slightly, a little confused by his question. Her fingers nimbly ran down Trist's back, massaging any kinks that might have cropped up during the night's sleep upon the ground. With a gentlyness that was a part of her nature she kissed his neck, letting her lips brush up towards his ear as she moved her hands back up to massage his shoulders. "Something on your mind?"
The warrior shifts, drawing his legs up and wrapping his arms around his knees as he glances off in the distance, his eyes seeing everything and nothing all at once as he considers. "Well, I'm just fer wonderin'. I've got me own turmoil in me heart, paths that lead different places and such, and while I've enjoyed one, well, I can'no' but help realize tha' I've a strong yearnin' ta take tha other. It makes me wonder what exactly ye've wanted, what would drive ye ta watch o'er me like ye have, what it is tha' yer wantin'." He glances sidelong at her, smiling and slightly raising a hand. "And none o' tha about duty and wha ye've been learned ta do."
"To be honest I have never really given it a thought. One day I wish to have a children and a family but that is something I see happening a long time from now." She sighs slightly thought her hands never leave his back and she continues to massage his shoulders, "I am not one who enjoys traveling upon the open road, the past few days have taught me more about my abilities than I thought but have also reminded me that I have a home to call my own and I would mis it if I left for too long."
Tristien nods gravely, considering her words intently. Tearing off another small piece of bread, he popped it in his mouth, chewing slowly as he selected words to express himself. Swallowing, he turned, catching her hands in his and holding them gently in his lap, his knees against hers. Something had come to his attention in the night, when he had stepped away as she slept to relieve himself. Not letting on about what he saw, he pressed his legs against hers and he smiled, looking her in the eyes, the morning sun glinting in his green orbs as small lines creased their corners, giving him a more mature appearance than usual. Blowing out his cheeks, he glanced down at their hands a moment before glancing back up at her through his hair. "Sari, I play tha simple man often enough, and in most regards I am jus' tha. But I'm no' naive, and I'm no' a foolish bumpkin, as most would think. I think tha time fer me ta play word games is comin' ta an end, but afore I start blurtin' out what I'm feelin', I'm wantin' ye ta figure out whether ye are ready ta hear such things."
"I am always ready to listen to what you have to say Trist." Sari smiled softly, a slight knowing look in her golden eyes as she gazes upon his. She squeezed his hands with a feeling of support, the warmth of the morning sun shining upon them, illuminating the hillock, a contrast from the moonlight that had been woven amongst their beings the night before.
He sat up straight, tossing his head to remove the strands of hair that had blown into his face. Still holding her hands tightly, he smiled warmly, the usual boyish look replaced by that of a man who had seen hardship and horror, but refused to let such things take root, always reserving his heart for happiness and love. His eyes seemed to sparkle as he peered into her golden orbs, admiring their radiance in the morning light, the traces of sunlight catching stray strands of her hair, causing them to glitter like spun mithril, it's rays reflecting warmly on her alabaster skin, her shoulders slim and sexy in the light. Leaning forward, he kissed her gently on the lips a moment, the gesture full of passion and unspoken relief at finding someone that matched him so well, whether she acknowledged it or not. "Sari, I've lived a long, rough life. The road, the open air." He gestured around himself with one hand, then gripped hers again. "Have been me only companions, battle and the empty groan o' the wind the marching tunes of my existence. Empty is what's best ta describe it, my life in a whole, my soul. I've searched fer happiness, and had near miss af'er near miss..." Trist trails off and smiled for a moment. "These things you say, of staying close ta home, making a life someday... the only reason I fought so hard, the only reason I stood back up when me injuries demanded otherwise, well, it's because these things are exactly what I've been hopin', in me heart, ta one day find. And then I find a lively little lass, enjoy our time tagether, but I've come ta realize..." He takes a deep breath, sighing and shaking his head with a slightly rueful grin.
Sarynae listened to him speak, her gaze never leaving his own. She smiled softly, giving him support, feeling the warmth of their bodies pressed together. His lips spoke more than anything he had to say, the gentle passion that rose to meet her is matched in ardor and strength though with an underlying tone of tranquility that flowed from her continuous believe that Elune will be there to answer her call. She could see his thoughts in her mind's eye, bands of gold that pulsed around him, merging and entwining into her silvery cord from their time spent together, a time she hoped that would never end.
"I've come ta realize that though our time together is somethin' special, Colleen and I are, and always will be two totally different people, and any hope for us ta mesh, to peaceably share our dreams and have a hope at a happy future, well, I jus' do'no' see it happenin'. One o' tha reasons bein' I think I've found what me heart has been holdin' out fer all these years. And I feel terrible ta be havin' to tell her this, but I think when it comes ta love, me hearts fer ye, totally an completely." Tristien grins and glances away a moment, a slight blush coming to his cheeks. "An' no, it's not jus' last night tha made me realize it. I'm no', whether ye'd believe it or no', a man ta be wantonly throwin' meself ta every woman tha comes along. Aye, things did go far las night, though not as far as I certainly know they could o'. Fer me ta even do tha shows ye what I mean about yer worth tha me." Grimaces slightly at the wording, "Right, tha did no come out quite right. But long story short, all tha fancy talk aside, well, I love ye Sarynae, truly I do. I jus' want ya ta know tha. Whether it's tha same fer ye, well tha's yer call, but...." He trails off, somewhat embarrassed by his ramble.
"It was your brother who I met first, half brother maybe so but still. There has always been a connection between us, be it one that is made of friendship and understanding or one of devotion and caring that reaches beyond just the beginnings of a path shared." The elven woman reached up to caress his cheek, a luminous gaze within her eyes as she watched Trist closely. "A path that I feared loosing the way recently when you were taken ill. I preyed to Elune ever moment I could, not for my own reasons but because of how much you mean to everyone around you. It is that which I find is so entrancing about you and yet is also why I feel drawn to walk beside you on your path. You have been hurt before, not always intentionally and I wish to be the one who can walk with you and help you bear such pain. I wish to share in your trials and help you with your dedication with taking care of Mithril Dreams. It is my wish to stand with you but such I wish I could only mention if I knew you felt the same."
He takes a deep breath and gazes at her for a long moment, then turns his face up to the sun, closing his eyes and enjoying it's warm rays along with the sweet morning breeze. Grinning, he turned back to her and winked, kissing her lips gently then leaning back. "First, afore anything could go forth from this, I'd need ta talk to a certain lil miss, try ta get her ta understand how things are without losin' a limb. But if ye truly wish ta walk tha path with me, and I promise, it's most assuredly no easy path. As," he grinned again, "ye may of noticed."
Sarynae nods softly, "Your path is one which has been full of heartachs and dangers, with stones and barricades, and yet you have always manages to summount the impossible." She lightly runs her fingers through his now silky hair. "I wish to stand by you for when those times should get hard, I am prepared to follow you under the ocean if the situation calls for it." The priestess smiles softly as she made the joke. "I know you have to tie up ends with Colleen and I am prepared to wait for as long as it should take, even if it took a whole life time I would be content in waiting as long as I had the chance to wait by your side."
Tristien nods slowly, smiling. "Of course, ye've got a bit of a more lifetime left than I do, so it shouldn't be too long, darling Sari." He sighs. "I can't help but feel I betray Colleen a bit, but no, this is what me heart tells me tha I want."
The elven woman look grave for a moment, "Trist, what you say is true which is why I tried to keep my distance and yet it seemed to be such distance that pulled stronger than if I had tried otherwise. I never wanted to come between what you had with Colleen and if you ever should wish to stay with her until she gets her bearings I would be willing to stay within the shadows."
Tristien shakes his head sharply. "No, ye came between nothin'. She has her duties, she has her bonds, and oaths she must fulfill. Hells, she's been gone away through tha portal fer months now, trainin' with tha gnome. Afore tha she was busy runnin' this errand or tha fer her master. What kind of relationship has it been when it's only allowed when her master says." He shakes his head. "No lil one, ye've no' come between anything. There've been too many factors tha come between us already, including ourselves."
Sarynae leans in and catches his face in her hands, she gazes upon his youthful features for a long moment before whispering softly, "Ja alore Trist," Kissing him softly, she wrapped her arms around the wayward warrior, feeling his warmth and strength.
"Ja alore Sari," He murmured back, kissing her in return passionately, twinging his fingers in her hair, one hand braced tightly against her lower back, holding her to him, his other arm going from her hair to beneath her knees, his muscles bunching as he lifted her dainty form easily, standing and turning to face the valley beyond, breaking their kiss and glancing out over the mist laden morning, spying Lakeshire in the distance, and the tops of trees emerging from the fog, his heart beating steadily in his chest as he holds her close. "Our destiny is out there, Sari. I'm prepared if ye are ta take it..."
"I am prepared to follow you if it is what you wished, though," She gestured to the small village hidden amongst the trees, "If you ever wished to travel alone, I will be here in the small home we have created for ourselves." She leaned back into Trist, feeling the heartbeat that matched her own. Cupping his cheek with her pale hand she stroked his beard enjoying the simple closeness they had.
Tristien grins as she strokes his beard, enjoying the light touch of her elegant fingers. Glancing down at her, he grinned and kissed her, glancing back over the village again. "As fer bein' alone, we both know tha I'd never 'want' ta travel alone, but, sometimes duty calls." He lightly taps her nose with his finger. "But comin' home, havin' ye there, waitin' fer me, I can imagine nothing greater."
"With a delicious dinner prepared by Marni?" Sari chuckled lightly tilting her head to kiss his cheek. "A home for the wayward warrior, something he has been missing for too long indeed." She turned back to look upon Lakeshire watching as the faint noises of the waking village drifted up to them upon the breeze, "A home of our own."
Tristien smiles and nods enthusiastically. "Aye, a home of our own. *grins and kisses her cheek. "And, dinner by Marni, nightly? THAT sounds wonderful as well." He chuckles, turning his head to look down at her face. "Sari, I've dreamt of these things fer so long, accepted them as somethin' I'd never have..... Well, well..." His smile grows, a single tear of joyful relief breaking away and trailing down his cheek, losing itself in his beard. "Well, I'm jus' happy I've got ye ta help me make it happen."
Sarynae nods and lightly brushes away the single tear, "Tristien, you deserve a home, a place to call your own. You have been so strong for so many, be it physical, defending the people you care about with your sword, or emotional, providing us with a guilding beacon within the storms of our lives. To have done so much for us and never asking for anything in return. You are a knight in shining armor to so many but to me, you are the one who is my world." She smiles lightly, her face illuminated by the sun.
Tristien smiles down at her, blushing at her words. "Ah, well, I do what I do because I am what I am. If it means so much to so many, especially you, then I guess I'm doin' right, both by tha dream an' by tha world."
"Yes, you have done all that and much more." Sarynae caresses his cheek with her hand, moving up slightly to place her lips upon his, tasting the sweet warmth, a realization of the unbridaled feeling she felt for the warrior who captured her heart. Their hearts beating in time with each other, she felt at peace, far deeper than when meditating. "I thank Elune every day for the day I met you Tristien."
An' I thank whoever saw fit ta watch o'er me while I struggled ta reach this moment an' ye. *kisses her, feeling right with the world for the first time in a long time, letting her steady heartbeat calm his soul*
She sat within his arms, looking out over the landscape, the mists finally being burned away by the sun. "We should make it a point to come here once a month, just you and me and a delicious dinner... with maybe some more dessert." Sari chuckled lightly, with a merriness that brightened the world around her.
Tristien grins at her comment, winking at her. "Aye, tha sounds about a good plan then." He kisses her deeply, then sets her down on her feet, turning towards the mess of the night before. "It would seem tha racoons got into tha lefto'ers at some point." He laughs" Ah well, I got the best parts..." He winks at her again*
She laughs melodically and taps his nose with a finger, "Next time we'll try not to get too distracted so soon." Teasing lightly she kneeled down to clean up the remnants of their meal, placing everything carefully into the basket until only the blanket remained. "There, good as if we were never here." She stood back up and turned to face Trist with a warm smile.
Reaching to help but being too slow, he turned, stretching as he yawned, twisting his upper body to work out the sleep. "So, I shall we fly, or do you wish to walk back and enjoy the morning?"
Sari eyes the sleeping gryphon laying out on it's back, its paws in the air. "Maybe a walk, we'll let the lazy creature sleep away the morning." Moving close to him and taking his hand she smiles, "That and it gives me a little more time alone with you."
Tristien smiles charmingly as he takes her hand, enfolding it in his arm and taking the basket, leaving her free to enjoy the air and the sunshine as he steps lightly down the trail* Aye, tha's always a bonus to it. *winks and looks ahead, pleased with the world beyond words*
