 It had been a while since she had ventured off by herself. The last time that had happened she ran into a maned dog named Apollodoros. Looking off into the jungle atmosphere she pondered on what she wanted to do today. The sky was darken by the threat of rain, but it had been like this all morning so Nisha wasn't to worried.
Humming a tune from her childhood she let her orange eyes roamed her home. She heard from the grapevine of a male 'demon' lion was in the area, but she wasn't too worried. She had a strong personality and didn't scare easy.

 Samhaim grumbled to himself, sometimes being an evil tyrant was fun... but lonely. Peering down at the land below him, he took in the jungle forest from on top of a stone ledge. Red eyes gleamed in the darkness of the morning; even the sky seemed to sense his presences. Lifting up his muzzle into the air, he enjoyed the cool breeze moving through his mane of black.
The silence was broken by his angry roar; he hated how these feelings crepted up on him. Flicking his tail in annoyance, he sat on that rock like a king. A king of evil. His fur gleamed almost like fire on his back and face. Scenting the air he took in nothing, it would seem all the other animals had been scared away from his temper. Or maybe it was the threat of the storm that was coming upon them.

She had been about to bend down to have a drink of water in a near by pond when a sudden horribly loud roar made her jump. Jerking her head up in startlement, she gazed around the now quiet forest. 'Ploink', she looked crossed eyed at the wet drop on her nose. " Rain?" It was coming down in earnest now, darkening her fur with each drop. Not in the least bother with the rain falling on her, Nisha took her time finding shelter.
She almost missed the hidden nook when she walked by it, by something made her look to the left where it was located. Underneath a willow tree, hidden by bush and moss. Shaking the water from her fur she laid on the moss ground for a few minutes, the willow trees branches and leaves blocking out the rain.

" Wonderful," He grumbled in a pissed off voice. " Water, horrid stuff." Sneering he felt his fur and mane getting soaked by the rain.
"What's wrong boss?" A quiet feminine voice called out softly over the rain.
" Nothing Lilit.," He grumbled to his one and only friend that dared to befriend him. " The water is ruining my fur." What crossed his face could almost be called a pout, that is if it weren't for the mask on his face twisting his expression.
"Um, I see." Lilit chuckled darkly as she made her self known by sitting next too her male friend. " My master is so vein." She nearly jumped and hid when he growled fiercely at her for the joking tone.
" Come let us find shelter for a while, this rain is so troublesome.," He frowned as he got up on his four paws and with a swish of his tail there were heading down the mountain into the jungle. " We should find a place to stay with no one to bother us and even if we did find someone, I'll kill them so its ours."

The lull of the rain was making Nisha sleepy, it was almost relaxing. The sound of the rain hitting the leaves and the silence, nature’s music. Yes it was morning but Nisha had a horrible sleep the night before so what would it hurt to rest until the storm was over?
The silence was broken by a crack, a scream of 'master', and a horrible roar. Jumping to feet Nisha looked above, where the sound was coming from, and luckily moved out of the way before a male lion came crashing down where she had being lying. A low growl broke her from her current shock, red eyes glowing at her with hate. He spoke and then collapsed into unconsciousness.

"Are we almost there master?"
" Lilit, if you whine one more time...," Samhaim moved swiftly through the rocky path. They had yet to find somewhere to stay and his feminine counterpart in color had been asking the same question over and over for sometime.
"Sorry, I'm just cold- MASTER WATCH OUT!"
Jerking in shock Lilit hardly ever screamed, he turned to look at her to see her looking at the ground, whirling around to see what was going on he looked to slow. The ground beneath his feet was crumbling and he tried to stop his momentum but couldn't. He roared angrily at the irony of what he thought would be his defeat. Falling from a mountain into a tree. The branches whacked him as he continued falling, before he landed on the ground. Painfilled his body and his sight was flickering. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted another lion. " What are you looking at." He growled before passing out.

Looking at the now passed out male lion, she debated on what to do. She didn't want to move him for fear of doing more damage. But... she looked above at the now large hole, it had broken branches and was bare of leaves. The bleeding male was getting rained on. Cautiously she made her way over to nudge him to see if she could awaken him. But she received no response, he was out cold.
" It figures, the one time of peace and relaxation something has to come to break it up." She sighed before trying to move the male. " Geeze, you sure are heavy big-guy." Moaning as she continued to push him out of the rain.
" There," Nisha panted out. " Out of the rain, now to clean you up." She bent over and started to lick the blood off his fur.

Conscious thought started to return slowly, he felt a nice warming sensation on his back. It felt... like licking? Blinking his eyes up and clearing away the fuzziness of his sight. He moved his head to take in the black and orange lioness cleaning him.
" What do you there?" He rumbled tiredly as he tried to get up and move away. " You dare touch me!" He collasped once more and was appalled at his weakness. He couldn't even get up!

She snorted. 'Such arrogance.' She thought to herself. " I'm trying to help you." He mumbled something. " Pardon me? What was that you jerk?" Nisha said sweetly as well as sarcastically. Nisha moved away from the male and paused to look again her eyes widening. ' Fur black as night, mask like fire, red demon eyes. Oh.my.goddess. It was the Demon King, the one everyone had been talking about.' She had backed up without realizing it, but stopped. Frowning she shook her head. ' No! I won't let him scare me. No matter what, he has life in him and have to help him. Who knows, he could surprise me.'
She moved over to the fruit she had collected sometime ago. " Here you need to eat to gain your strength back. My name is Nisha by the way." She used her nose to push the fruit towards him.

Samhaim frowned fiercely before mumbling under his breath, " Stupid b***h." And got whacked on the paw lightly by Lilit for his trouble.
"Try to be nice master," Lilit mumbled and frowned at the other female. That lioness better not take master away from her or else I'll be upset. Her small claws dug into the earth. "On second thought."
He frowned fiercely down at his familiar before he eyed the other female and raised an eyebrow when she called him a jerk. Hm, no one had stood up to him like that before... it was actually quite refreshing. He watched as she brought the fruit towards him and caught her name. Nisha huh? Sneering a little but it cleared when her smell hit him. "Nice." He was in a daze but blinked when he caught her looking at him with a 'you are crazy' look.
He cleared his throat and looked away with a... ' God, am i BLUSHING!?'

' What is he doing?' Nisha thought as he other male leaned closer, eyes fluttering to slits. Shaking her head at the odd behaviour she moved closer to rest, eyes still on the other handsome male. ' Yes, I admit. He is very handsome... in a devilish sort of way.'
And this would be the start of the many meeting these two would have.
