 The birds had finally stopped their chirping, and darkness had settled over the jungle. A lion a bit bigger then average build, with abnormally long canine teeth lay sprawled under a tree. A yawn stretched his jaws wide, and his eyes were all but closed. He stuck out in either day or night neon blue pelt, marked him like a star in the night sky.
But tonight, it didn't matter to Mkali. It has been days since a female would even give him the time of day, it was really aggravating. All that walking around the lands looking for a female to fall for his charms was making his feet hurt, and he'd be damned if he let another girl get away. Truthfully, though, he was very lucky for a man of his nature, he has seen so many beautiful creatures and deflowered just as many; most males would love to be him.
He rose to his feet shaking off the dirt that clung to his pelt, he needed to take his mind off of this dry streak he was having, and a quick walk under the night sky would greatly help. He quickly stretched his stiffened muscles before setting off in the rouge lands.

 Mys'ketay stood over the watering hole that was positioned in the center of the rouge lands. She was extremely thirsty considering how late it was at night. But she didn't pay any mind to it since she had been running around all day trying to catch something to eat. Thankfully she was able to catch a baby water buffalo a few seconds before she was about to give up. Mys'ketay couldn't help but be angry at herself for not being taught how to hunt before a couple weeks ago. However, she was getting better at hunting. That was the one thing that kept her going everyday.
A small escaped her mouth before she dipped her mouth into the water to drink. After she had her fill she lifted her head, turned away from the watering hole and began walking over to a small tree that was only a few feet away. Because she had only eaten an hour before her belly felt full and she was ready to relax and maybe fall asleep. Mys'ketay laid down underneath the tree and stretched out all four of her legs. Somehow she got a gut feeling that tonight was going to be eventful.

Mkali roamed for hours before his paws were screaming with agony. He needed a break but he was in unfamiliar territory. He traveled the rouge lands and knew just about all of it but he has yet to stray into the part. Normally he found no need, he had enough ladies on the other side, but he hoped that coming into new territory would bring his new luck.
The cool night breeze blew through his mane, it carried the scent of water. It made his stomach turn... he was so very thirsty... his mouth was quite dry... With a sigh he headed towards the smell of the water. Just a quick drink before i start scearching again. He thought to himself.
As he got close his nose wrinkled, water wasn't the only thing he smelt now. Thi smell made his heart race with excitement... He began to pick up his pace and he approached the waterhole and thats when he saw her. She was a beige pelted beauty, such eligance in her strides as she walked to the tree.
Kali was unsure how to approach this one... Many ideas were bouncing in his head, Should i be bold and just comfront her... no that might scare her... Maybe i should.... no that's stupid. He watched for a moment before walking up and casually began lapping at the water. He didn't pay any attntion the her, he smiled and waited and the cool water hit the back of his throat, he wanted to see if the bait would come to him...

Mys'ketay was just about to close her eyes when she noticed a male not but a few feet away from her. He stood lapping up the water, not even paying attention to what she was doing. Mys'ketay could not allow herself to stay so close to him, he could be dangerous. However, the only way she could get further away was by walking past him. A small sigh escaped her mouth as she began to stand up. Her head felt slightly woozy as she stood, but she knew that she could not just lie and wait for him to simply move a long. She knew better then that from experiance. Mys'ketay walked carefully past the male at a speed that was not to slow and not to fast. She would not allow herself to be harmed by stupidity.
Once she reached the other side of the pool she continued to trot back to the tree line. After she reached a decent tree she jumped into the tree and laid upon a branch that was a couple feet above the ground, just out of paw's reach.

Kali was enjoying the bit of cool water hit his throat it was a relief. He noticed that the girl walked around to the other side, I guess the fish did't want to bite the bait.he thought to himself. He smerked, did he really make her that uncomfortable and he didnt even have to say one word. But then again she had reasons to be scared of him, reasons he was sure she was unaware of. He was well a womanizer, he said whatever he had to to get what he wants and will do anything to get it. He knew with this one he would have to be a caring lion.
He lifted his head and non-chalantly began grooming himslef. He causally glanced at the lioness, she was climbing up a tree. Now that was something he's never seen before, either she was really trying to stay away from him or she thought she was part leopard, possibly both. He just looked at her and gave her a genuine smile before walking to a tree near her and laying on a rock beneith the shade. He was debating weather to say something or not; if he did he had to say the right words. He looked at her and smiled showing his abnormally long fangs, "Hello, lovely evening; isn't it?" Dammit that was way to nice, she'll probably know im up to something now. He sighed and layed his head on top of his paws and glanced at the moons reflection in the water.

Mys'ketay didn't trust this male, not that she really trusted any male. However, this one gave her a bad feeling and she knew it was best to keep her distance. He seemed cocky in the way he came right underneath the tree and laid down, like he was casually enjoying the shade. However, her father had shown her she needed to be smarter. Mys'ketay was taken aback by his kind words. Maybe he isn't as dangerous as he seems. She had thought to herself before she responded. "It is quite lovely indeed." She replied to him. "What brings you this far out?" Mys'ketay asked curiously, making sure to watch his movements. Putting herself in this tree was a bad idea and she knew it once he stayed under the tree. Why was I so stupid? I'm an easy target now. Mys'ketay thought, cursing herself.

Kali looked at the female, examing her pelt; "The water," He said replying to her question. "I was parched." Which was true but thats not all he was after. He layed there his tail flicking back and forth againt the ground. He caught the bait this time; now all he had to do was make his move, but it had to be perfect it was still to soon...
"What brings you out here? Are you lost?" He asked quickly glancing around the area for any other that might have followed her. If he made a move he didnt want to have to fight an angry mate, he was in no mood to kill anyone; at least not today. Today he just wanted a simple hello how are you let go to my place kind of thing. But this one he could tell was different, she actually seemed smart aposed to all the other iggnorant females he's used for his pleasure, perhaps he should just let the fish go back.

Mys'ketay thought about her next answer to his question carefully. He seemed trust worthy, however, so did her father and look where it got her and her mother. "I'm not lost." She replied. "I am just wandering around, looking for something." She said, giving him a half true answer. Neither one of them was going to be totally truthful with the other, which wasn't exactly a problem. As she thought more on what she would say next she felt herself growing increasingly agitated by the male laying down. This was not good, not good at all. She knew she needed to get down from this tree, but how to do it without giving him the chance to capture her? Hmmm..... This will be harder then I expected. She thought. This male had definately thought through his plan. Mys'ketay on the other hand was making it up as she went.

Mkali eyed the female, "Perhaps i can help you look for that something?" He stood up and made his way over to the female. She was stuck its not like she could run so getting closer couldnt hurt. He could tell she was very anxious. "There might even be a reward if i find it." He chuckled. He had trapt the female. She either could fight or be submissive, which even he knew this female wasn't going down without a fight.
"You know what, on the other hand im not in the mood to fight and i cant tell your a waste of my time. So just go before i regret it." He turned and began to walk away. "Oh and this isnt over, we will meet again." He walked away in search of a much stupider girl to screw with.

She made sure to hold her ground as the male approached her further, defying her, taunting her. It was something that bothered her on a level like nothing had bothered her before. "Maybe." She said somewhat coldly, trying to show that she wasn't afraid of him even though she kind of was. When the male stepped back and allowed her to jump down and go she was surprised. Was he testing her or did he really mean it? Mys'ketay found herself staying in the tree for a few moments more not sure what to do. Then she made up her mind, she would chance it. Quickly she jumped down from the tree and put a good foot between her and the blue male. "Maybe we will meet again." She said as she turned around to look at him. With that she was off, not running but not walking either.
