He was definitely not supposed to be there. Rooting around in the human's pouch, his nose working overtime while he scrounged for the last bits of fruit, he tried to ignore the nagging voice in the back of his head that told him he was definitely misbehaving. Normally Tybalt could resist temptation, but he hadn't eaten all morning and the humans had run off when they'd seen him. Why, he didn't know, except they looked like foals, so they were probably frightened of his horn. A shame, because he'd never hurt a creature that didn't deserve it in his entire life. Teeth catching on an apple, he smiled, lowering his impressive bulk to a comfortable resting position as he crunched his way through the apple. Behind him, his tail swished through the snow, digging a happy little path while he enjoyed the spoils of his victory. Oh, yeah.

Ugh. It was late. It was cold. And the snow was everywhere.
It was ridiculous to think that a creature born in this weather would not love it to its core. But that was Pavitra. He hates snow more than anything else in his whole entire life. Speaking in melodramatic terms, at least.
He trudged his way to what he thought would be a nice comfy cave to crawl in and sleep through what he could of the weather. Maybe when he rose, the snow would be gone? Not probable, but possible.
He stopped at a village, the urge to approach the big fire aching so deep in his body that he had taken four strides before he'd stopped himself. Some two leggers weren't friendly with soquilis. Especially ones that have extra traits. Like him.
He sighed, but before turning away, saw a brownish figure riffling through something at the edge. Was it another soquili? Maybe one that could direct him to some where for the night.
Before he could make his way towards the large soquili, he'd stopped what he was doing and was laying down. Why, he had a horn like his! Another with a horn... hmm. Pavitra had been wanted to speak with another like him... to ask about the weird feeling he had gotten with it, when he'd seen Adalyn hurt. Or what he thought had been hurt.
Quietly, and 'sneaky like' (which wasn't hard for someone as white as him), Pavi made his way to the other stallion, keeping as low to the ground as he could.
"Hey, pssst. Hey, excuse me?"

Tybalt was more than content to just lie there and eat until the next best thing came along. In fact, the most likely scenario would be that he would finish the contents of the bag and then lumber off to find a place to sleep; it was getting more and more difficult to find decent food, what with all the snow over the ground, and he was far from the human's teepee where he normally slept. He'd have to find a place to take shelter for the night or he would be stiff and uncomfortable come morning. He was a big guy, certainly, but that didn't mean he wanted to sleep under the stars in the snow.
At the end of the fruit, he sighed a little, dropping his head to rest for a moment or two. He was always sad when a meal came to an end, especially because... well, he wasn't actually full. Most unicorns were like his mother, dainty and delicate, but he was a heavy draft, and he needed to eat a lot. Winter really was the worst season ever.
Exhaling, a little mournful, he was about to get up and go search for a place to sleep when something broke the silence. His head shot up, the pouch still over his muzzle, and he slowly turned his head, a little wide-eyed behind his fluffy pink bangs.
Whoa, company.
Shaking his face until the pouch fell off, he rose, snow clinging to his underside as he did. Despite the fact that he now towered over the crouching stallion, he smiled, his posture relaxed and happy as he shook himself and greeted, "Hello."
Tilting his head a bit, he examined the pure white alicorn and asked, after a moment, "Can I help you?"

Pavitra, instead of standing when he did, shrunk still, wide-eyed as well. "Uhm h-hey there." He hadn't realized how big the stallion was until then. Oh yes, he was a big fella. With.. pink hair? On a stallion? Mentally shaking himself, Pavitra stood a little taller but certainly not to his full height. Which wasn't much anyway.
"I was.. wondering if I could.. just.. asking for some help?" Pavitra was very nervous being so close to slumbering humans he didn't know were friendly or not. And this big boy in front of him was very impressive as well.
Cough quietly, and a white puff of cloud floating over his snout, Pavi smile slightly. "If you wouldn't mind that is..." he dug his hoof around in the snow, blushing because of his nervousness as well as embarrassment. It was always an ego sqwasher to have to ask someone attractive a stupid question.
"I-I'm Pavitra by the way." He looked at the stallion for the first time, full in the face. He was probably glowing from the moon and the reflective snow everywhere. Lovely. A beeken of ignorance.

As uneasy as Pavitra was, Tybalt seemed to be supremely unconcerned. Once he'd gotten the majority of snow off himself he'd taken to brushing off his legs with his tail, apparently unembarrassed by... well, much of anything. He waited for the other stallion to finish speaking before facing him full again, shaking his mane out of his eyes so that he could get a good look at him.
Yep, pure white, just about as white as all the snow around him. Blushing, too, which he imagined was from the cold -- Tybalt was probably a little pink around the snout himself. He waited patiently while the other spoke, and when he finished, he smiled broadly.
"Hey. I'm Tybalt." Tone relaxed and easy, looked past the alicorn for a moment, then back to him and added, "And sure, what do you need?"
Perhaps the most intimidating thing about him was his size, but given the casual, gentle way he spoke, even that didn't tend to intimidate for long. Which was exactly he preferred it -- it was difficult to make friends when you were off scaring everyone, now wasn't it?

The giant seemed oddly... nice.
Wait. Why would that be odd? Shame on him for being judgmental. There are many gentle giants! Or thats what he was telling his nerves.
The stallions voice was relaxing though, as relaxed as it was itself. Smiling a little more honestly, Pavitra felt the weight on him ease at standing in front of the large male. "I was wondering if you knew anywhere that would be best to spend the night?" He asked quietly, his smile shrinking as embarrassment came back up, along with the blush though he barely felt its heat.
He'd completely forgotten the horn part, even though the stallion's was proportional to his body. Which was big. And very noticeable.
Tybalt's hair was very pale pink, and his most notable feature, Pavitra thought to himself. It was lovely in the way it laid on his head and on his face. Much better than Pavitra's straight, whiteness. Of course, Pavitra thought anyone with color was better than his washed out look.

"Ah!" His smile grew, a cloud of condensation forming around his muzzle at the exclamation. "Is that all? Phew."
He brought his tail around, using it to pat the other stallion on the thigh to get his attention. Tybalt was used to being casually affectionate, and he'd learned many of his gestures from the humans that he'd spent so much time with; they often used their hands and arms to guide one another about, but that was awkward for him with his legs. His tail, though... his tail worked just fine.
"C'mon. I was about to go look for somewhere to sleep, myself." He glanced up to the sky, sighed a little as clouds rolled over the moon. "I really hate how cold it is here. I can't wait for everything to thaw."
It didn't occur to him that he shouldn't be so trusting of someone he'd just met. Pavitra was an alicorn, which of course meant he shared unicorn heritage, but that didn't necessarily mean he was a good person. Still, Tybalt liked to give others the benefit of the doubt until the gave him a good reason to otherwise.
Besides, two bodies huddled up against the cold definitely meant a cozier night. He really hated to be cold.

"O-oh?" He smiled brightly, not feeling awkward at the affection. He felt his flutter, actually. Of course... that didn't stop him from flinching at first. He really was a cowardice stallion. "Alrighty then!" He perked up, his tail and wings rising up slightly, simultaneously. He looked like a young foal next to Tybalt, and probably acted about the same.
He looked up with Tybalt, and frowned a little. "Stupid weather..." he muttered. Purposely blowing air out, he watched it cloud and curl upward. "Heh. Makes me look like one of those old two leggers 'cept I don't one of those huge weird logs." He had sort of developed his lingo and diction from Rajput after spending so much time with each other. The thought of Rajput made the weight of this necklace all the more heavy even though it was feathers that he wore around his neck.
He looked forward ago, the foal-like expression gone from his same. Instead it was simply blank as he listened to the wind zipping over his ears.

Tybalt liked the other fellow's enthusiasm. Too often he met other adults who were so wrapped up in their own apparent maturity that they couldn't take a moment to simply enjoy themselves or be silly. Where was the fun in that? Where was the living if you were always worried about what you looked like, what others thought of you? Tybalt had certainly never subscribed to that theory himself.
"Come on, then, let's find a place." He didn't exactly miss the sudden shift in Pavitra's attitude, but he didn't feel it was his place to comment on it. Whatever had made him sober up so suddenly was probably a pretty powerful feeling, and that wasn't the sort of thing you shared with someone you'd just met. He wouldn't, anyway, so he had to respect others' space.. he'd want the same sort of treatment from them, after all.
Careful to keep his tone and expression light, he added, "I think just over this hill we'll find a dense patch of trees. Not too much snow on the ground except what's fallen from the branches, so we should be able to hunt up a cozy spot. D'you mind sharing a place?"
His tail swayed behind him lazily, the end of it flicking little tufts of snow up as he walked.

Smiling up at Tybalt, he shuck his head, his bangs falling from around his horn. "No, not at all. I enjoy company." He missed it too. Adalyn wasn't with him tonight, which was rare. Normally they met up every evening and spent some time together, and spend their days apart. But tonight, she had had something to do.
Confused, but unworried, Pavitra let it leave his mind. Still looking at Tybalt, he warmed some, the cold not as terrible as it had been a second ago. It felt a lot safer now. The dark was still frightening of course. But having this big, though gentle giant here with him, it didn't seem as bad.
Letting the first thing pop out of his mind, which was usually a mistake, he blurted, "You aren't like most horned soquilis are you?"

Some might have been offended by Pavitra's outburst, or at the very least, disapproving of his apparent profiling. Tybalt, though, simply laughed, apparently supremely unconcerned. "I'm not like most people I've met. But I bet you aren't either, eh?"
He swung his head around, shaking his bangs out of his eyes so that he could peer at his companion. After a moment, he added, "I'm full unicorn, and so's my mother, but even we couldn't be more different. So I don't think a horn has much to do with personality."
Life was probably different for those who had been raised among a herd of their own kind, but Tybalt had only had his mother and the humans who tended to them. What he knew of his healing powers he'd learned from her, and much of the lore behind it... well, he'd forgotten over time.
It just didn't seem as important as knowing how to help someone.

"Uni.. corn?" Pavitra wasn't familiar with many terms. Practically any, actually. He'd mostly met regular soquilis, and called his kind with a horn.. well "horned." Blushing some, he looked tentatively up at Tybalt. "Is that what we're called?" He felt like a foal. A foal would of learned this very quickly. But growing up with out anyone, and not having the luck to meet hardly any of his own kind, he'd never imagined they had a title. "Is that why I have this tail?" He pulled it forward and gestured with it, brushing some snow off in the process.
This stallion made Pavitra feel odd. Not in a bad way of course, but surely he normally wouldn't have the confidence to speak so freely or ask questions so openly. He normally was entirely too embarrassed. The greatest oddity of the situation was Tybalt was very attractive. At least to Pavi. Which logically would of made him more shy. But no. He felt very comfortable and chatty. And he liked it.
Thinking of his attraction to Tybalt, Pavitra quickly remembered Adalyn and tried to smother those emotions. How shameful of him! He shouldn't be thinking of anyone in that way, period, besides Adalyn. He felt a little sad at this fact, but he believed it.

Tybalt blinked, then he brought his own tail around to examine it. His walk slowed as he did, expression becoming thoughtful. Pavitra had never heard the term unicorn before? Well, he was an alicorn, so he supposed that made a little sense... but then again, no, it really didn't. His parents would have told him about his heritage, wouldn't they? Even though he'd never met his father, his mother had told him about the stallion that sired him, and he knew that as far back as anyone cared to mention his family was unicorn. It was why his healing powers were as strong as they were even though he didn't practice regularly.
"Unicorn, yeah. It's... healers, we're healers." He pursed his lips, thinking for a moment that the fact that he'd forgotten his species' lore was coming back to bite him on the rump. Oh well, there were worse things. "You, though, you've got other blood.. since you've got wings."
Nudging Pavitra's tail with his own, he added, "Wind wings. So you're an alicorn. Weren't your parents a wind and a unicorn?" He tilted his head a bit, adding, "Or one of them an alicorn.. my family's been unicorn as long as anyone can remember, so."
Before Pavi could answer, though, Tybalt spotted a low-hanging branch. He bit it, holding it high so that the white stallion could pass under it, snow melting in his mouth as he did. Yum.

Pavitra blinked slowly as he took this in. Healers?
"Uhm... well-" He was cut off when Tybalt gallantly moved a branch from his path. Blushing brightly, he passed under in a hurry and bowed a little. "Thank you. You are very much a gentlemen." Snow had fallen on his back, though undoubtedly couldn't be seen. Using his shorter wing feathers, he brushed the majority of it off.
Wings. "Well... the thing of it is.. I never knew my parents." Pavitra spoke quietly, and didn't look at Tybalt as he did. "Thats partially why I hardly know anything of my...kind." Eyes widening, Pavitra swung and looked excitedly up at Tybalt. "What does it feel like to heal? Does your horn suddenly feel powerful? Is it like energy?" He wanted to know what had happened in the forest with Adalyn and maybe this... 'alicorn' blood was the key. Or rather, he guessed the 'unicorn' in him. Why in the world was he an alicorn because he had wings? Wouldn't it be something like... wuicorn? Yeah, alicorn sounds much better.

Man. Tybalt was always putting his hoof in it when it came to people's parents. Saffy, too, had never known her parents and had instead been raised by humans, and he always seemed to forget that in conversation. He'd been lucky enough so far that she didn't hold it against him; hopefully Pavitra wouldn't, either.
Dropping the branch, he ducked underneath it, only succeeding in plowing his way through it and getting snow all over his back for his efforts. He tried to recall his last healing experience, though it had been some time ago; he didn't tend to get into too many scrapes himself, and the last time he'd traveled with someone else had been ages past. Still, the way Pavitra described it seemed fairly accurate.
"That's about the sum of it, yeah." He wrinkled his nose, thinking hard for a moment. "Kind of... warm, you know? And a good feeling. Like you're doing something good."
Amused, he nudged Pavitra with his tail again. "Look at that. Don't even know you're part unicorn and you're already out there healing people."
