Humanity and Earth have wasted away. Cities are overgrown and have crumbled to rubble. The plants are bizzare and there aren't many. The water is poisoned and tainted, with a few hidden springs that are clean and safe to drink.
Mechs, large weaponized robots, roam the lands in and near the cities, and destroy any human life they detect.
The creatures have adapted and multiplied, becoming more dangerous and growing in size. They all hunt together, birds, wolves, spiders. Some have reached a new level of intelligence and everything has created a new way to define the word deadly.
People band together like the animals, securing what supplies they can, and guarding the clean water with their lives.They have guns, modern and futuristic. They have companions, whether it be human or beast. There is hardly any means of medicine besides organic, with fevers and colds now usually resulting in death without proper supplies. Modern medicine has become rare, those that know how to use the land around them are lucky.
The few that choose to go it alone are taking a risk that could, and will, eventually kill them. The many that make groups and gangs must watch their own backs more than their partners'. Everyone really just wants what they want for themselves, and will do absolutely anything and everything to get it.
No one can trust eachother, there's risk of betrayal in every alliance, but the funny thing is that here, you can't survive on your own.

Personality: Seth's relatively friendly, but he's cautious about who he trusts now more than ever.
Name: Ethan
Age: 24
Personality: He's cold and harsh, and doesn't take kindly to outsiders.
History: The brothers were orphans for a long time, and just recently left a team in one of the abandoned cities. A raid took place when one of the teammembers turned out to be an imposter working with another group. A few people were killed in the raid, including Ethan's fiancee. He and his brother live on their own now, and have taken possession of a hidden fresh-water supply. Ethan forbid Seth from ever sharing the secret, it's how they manage to stay alive and healthy.

ALICEIA and NATASHA  Name:Aliceia (a-lee-c-uh) Age:13 Personality:She's extremly sweet, she's also got a darker side to her if you hurt what's left of her family.

Age:18
Personality:She's dark and doesn't like strangers. She'll fight for her and her little sister's life if she has to.
History:Natasha and Aliceia were left alone a few years before the raid. Aliceia had just turned 13 when everyone left them. Natasha used to be a goody girl, now she's not so much. Aliceia got the tattoo on her arm from her sister. She had found some ink after the raid and gave them each one. Natasha and Aliceia are desprately looking for supplies. They ran out of the ones they had, and if they don't find any soon they'll die.

Two figures were moving about outside their camp, a small cleared area with a cave and a few trees. The clearing had short grass and a quartet of rather full oak trees, with a large grey, moss-covered rock beneath the shortest one. The cave was part of the hill that made up one side of the camp, and inside were a few of the two brothers' essentials. There was a shelf of two, actually parts of the rock that Ethan and Seth had taken use of. On them were a few supplies, such being a bit of medication that was probably rendered useless by age, a rusted toolbox, and a trio of unused oil lanterns.
More towards the back of the cave was something the boys thought they'd never see. A small pond, fed by a spring in the wall if the rock, was clear, cold water. A fourth oil lantern was currently dormant by the water, next to two bedrolls that were actually just blankets the two had gathered at different times.
Currently, Ethan had his brother checking the perimeter of their place. They regularly checked around, making sure no one had gotten too close. That water they had found was, literally, to die for.
"Make sure nobody's gone past that..Uh..That ..Whatever you call it." The elder brother was referring to an outcrop in the rock, around half a mile away from their actual camp.
"Yes, Sir." Seth answered sarcastically, still peeved over an earlier arguement as he slid a dagger into the pocket of torn jeans. Both carried one on them all the time, and Ethan had a gun hidden up and away, found in a place that they both rather not remember.

ALICEIA and NATASHA Aliceia looked around the small camp her and her sister had made. It was somewhere in the woods. She was told to stay put while her sister went to go look for supplies. She hated being left alone.
Natasha looked around the woods. She felt as if she were close to others. But that wasn't possible everyone had been killed in the event. She continued to browse around.

Seth continued to wander around, trying to avoid making too much noise. He stepped on things here-and-there, so it was a failed attempt at silence. He hadn't seen, or heard, anything lately. Ethan had told him it was highly unlikely anyone would find the camp, but his paranoia urged the daily rounds.

Zoey Redbird_Spirit Ruler ALICEIA and NATASHA Aliceia sighed and decided to make a fire. She grabbed some wood then walked back to her cave. She set the wood down and made a small fire by rubbing rocks together.
Natasha kept her hand on the gun that was holstered to her hip. She looked around and found a small knife burried in the dirt. She bent down and dug it up. She smiled and put it in the sheath with her other blade. She continued to walk.

Ethan was filling up a canteen in the cave, one of the three they had that hadn't obtained holes or lost their caps. There was a slight fire in the back as well, and he had a pile of sticks near the flame in case it dissappeared.
Seth decided he'd try climbing the outcrop to get a better look at the territory, and could see the rock in the near distance. So far he hadn't seen anyone.

ALICEIA and NATASHA Aliceia sat infront of the fire and played in it. She had grabbed a small twig and was poking at it. She stopped and looked over at her tattoo. She touched it then winced. It still stung from when Natasha had given it to her.
Natasha looked around. Seth heard twigs snap as she walked past the tree he was in. She stopped and tried to dodge the twigs as she was walking.

Ethan decided his sibling was going to take some time, and it wouldn't hurt to take a quick nap. He spent the nights usually on watch, and easily nodded off to sleep.
The younger brother was now climbing up the rocky surface, and slid down when a rock was displaced in the stone face. He tried a second time, and made it to the top. He stayed put to catch his breath.

ALICEIA and NATASHA Aliceia lay back and looked at the rock celing. She yawned and fell asleep.
Natasha sighed and walked past the cave Ethan was in. He heard some rocks click together as she walked past. She stopped and then continued back in the direction of where Seth was.

Ethan was still asleep, the clinking rocks were inaudible to his ears.
Up at the top of the stone, A black haired male was scanning the ground he could see, making sure everything looked undisturbed and natural. It had been a while since they'd made there place here, and so far nothing had bothered to disturb them.

ALICEIA and NATASHA Aliceia sat up immediately at the sound of her sisters gun. She stood and went to the opening of the cave. She looked around to see if her sister was close.
Natasha looked up at the sound of a hawk. She drew her gun and shot the animal down quickly. She ran to the site where it landed.

The elder brother was jolted awake by a gunshot, he suddenly sat up and rubbed the grogginess away from his features. The black eyes of Ethan suddenly widened as he worried about how close it sounded. A gun had to be shot by a person...He moved around quickly, dousing the fire and taking up the gun from the shelf. He was certain the gunner was close and wondered just how far out his brother was.
Up on the rock, Seth hadn't noticed the bird in the sky, nor it's fall, as he had stared at the things more ground-levelled. The loud report from the weapon stuck out, and he narrowed his eyes to see if the shooter was visible.
