Welcome to the Great Minipet DESIGN contest!  I have a great minipet idea!
- THIS IS A FULL OUT MINIPET DESIGN CONTEST. That means, whip out your photoshop, open canvas, painter, what have you, and make AND DESIGN FOR us A TWO OR THREE STAGE MINIPET, to any of your liking! Please do not use a direct cosplay idea, though borrowed themes is okay (ie: Halloweenfying the idea)
- PLEASE INCLUDE IN YOUR ENTRY A PREVIEW .JPG OF YOUR IMAGES SUCH AS THIS (but obviously with a baby/egg stage, and an adult stage, a second "child" stage is optional. PLEASE DO NOT USE TINYPIC OR IMAGESHACK TO UPLOAD YOUR IMAGES I cannot view them at all!
- You are allowed to SKETCH/ ROUGH THE PETS OR draw and line out the entire pet like a mock minipet. Sketches are AOKAY but PLEASE ALSO BE PREPARED to finish the FULL .png lined and coloured copy of the mini if your minipet entry is selected! We PREFER a full presentation, but if your'e short on time and think you can handle to complete it later IF your entry is chosen that is fine too!
- We will be judging 99.9% on creativity and ideas that are "new" and "interesting", and less so on your great artistic prowess.
- The WINNING entry will be certed as a RARE minipet! The runners up will become promo pets released at the shop's discretion.
- DISCLAIMER: In entering for this contest you are giving This is Halloween FULL PERMISSION to use your minipet on the website for the (free) website services as the admin see fit, such as in the Pound, Shop Restocks, Minipet Mondays, etc. Full credit of the art will still go to you, but you will have no control over WHERE it will be released.
FAQ:
Q: Can I enter a sketched copy if I don't have time to finish before the deadline?
A: Yes, that is completely fine, but if your concept is chosen, please be able to provide us with a lined and coloured copy! We generally like to see the lined and coloured version so we know what your whole style looks like!
Q: Can I enter more than one minipet concept?
A: Feel free to do so!
Q: I can sketch but I'm not so good at colouring and lining
A: You are free to collab with a friend on this, but you'll have to share the prizes(s) somehow sad
Q: Wahh I'm a minipet artist already but I really like the prizes! Can I still enter?
A: Go ahead this contest is open to anyone! The admin are judging purely on creativity of concept here!

PRIZES!- The TOP THREE ENTRIES will be able to colour /edit an ALTERNATE version of their winning minipet to be certed as SPECIAL EDITION for themselves. They can use this code anywhere they would like! In addition:
- First place will be able to CHOOSE ONE OF THESE BELOW AND 100K minipet silver
- Second place will be able to CHOOSE ANY RARE MINIPET AND 75K minipet silver
- Third place will obtain 3 unchecked eggs AND 3 scary eggs AND 50K
minipet silver
- Runners up if applicable will obtain 1 unchecked egg and 1 scary egg as well as 15K each (but no SE sorry!)

Idea #1: Vomit cats - don't eat the shrooms! The idea is that the little kitten takes a bite of the toxic mushroom and ends up either hurling rainbows, or with super powers. The super powers would be a rare alt. [image]Idea# 2: Paint People - You've found a magic tube of paint.. how is paint magic? Oh my! You've spilled it.. what's happening?! For this concept, there is a tube of paint, which ends up getting opened and leaks out. The final stage is a paint person of one color, the personality of the person is based on color personalities that I found online. [stage 1][stage2][red][orange][yellow][green][blue][purple][nergal WIP]((question: is it okay if i come back and edit this post to add more ideas, or should i just make a new post every time?))

I'm gonna be out of town for most of the contest time so~ basically worked on this from the moment I saw it this morning to now. XD Derp. Anyway, my concept is the Trapcat. It is a predatory minipet, either preying literally on things smaller than it, or just enjoying the FEAR of those it manages to provoke. The idea is that it doesn't evolve with clicks so much as awaken. >3 It starts out with the appearance of a slumbering kitten, but if you poke it (click it) enough, it will reveal its true form... ... probably best to let sleeping cats lie. D: To complete the trap, the certs would also be slightly deceptive: Stage 1: How Cute! Stage 2: ... wat Stage 3: Trapcat! (For roleplay purposes, the cat can shift back to trapform whenever it wants, though it can't move while it's in trapform. It has to stay still and pretend to be asleep. ;3 And of course it shifts to trapform automatically when it genuinely is sleeping... )

Raptawulf - They're formed from negative emotions, whenever someone feels anger, loneliness ect, one appears, they grow when these emotions deepen and become savage, attacking or scaring (They specialize in stalking) anything in sight. They remain loyal to whoever's emotions created them however everything else becomes prey. Their fangs are coloured a bright green, emitting a venom which temporally paralyzes their prey when bitten. ( WIP - Finished versions are going to be edited in later <3 ) Stage 1 & 2 / Stage 3

I call these devilbats, or devbats! LINKStage 1 : Dark Bat Stage 2 : Winged Devil Stage 3 : Winged Devil Bats You ask, why is the name of stage 2 and 3 almost the same? Idk. I have no idea.

Title: "Carry On" Stage 1: Egg Stage 2: Chick Stage 3: Adult 2nd and Third stages should be certed with a corresponding outer glow to their alt color. Example mocked up on an invisible dog: (Hope that's okay! I wanted to see what it would look like! This was mostly to experiment with the glow.) BladewingStage lineout (wip) 1. One main sword with several smaller blades floating around it 2. A shadowy form approaching to grab the main sword 3. An armored draconic creature wielding the main blade with the smaller swords forming wings at its backside. One color alt. Fry ChickenStages (wip) 1. A bucket of fried chicken 2. A wing sticking out of the bucket 3. A firebreathing chicken One color alt - colored like a phoenix; the main color is a white chicken essentially ParachnidStages1. A raptor type thingy 2. Raptor being attacked/infested by tiny spiders 3. Spiders have mutated the raptor into some.... thing. Possibly a color alt for this.

Cattail:This is based on one of the plants from the Plants vs Zombies game. Of course, due to Halloween, it's mean or evil. AboutThe cattail can be an aggressive minipet. It can attack by shooting out little spikes from its tail. It's probably best that you befriend soon after adopting. Stage 1: A plant seed with a little cat face on it. Stage 2: A cat shaped hat with a cute face on it. Stage 3: The aggression comes out and it transforms into a cat plant blob wearing a hat. Beware of spikes.

But in fact, this is more akin to a larval stage. The mature wolf is developing inside this sheep-like cocoon while it infiltrates the flock. When it has fully matured it bursts free of its cocoon. Stage 1: "Larval Stage": Innocuous-looking lamb Stage 2: "Wolf bursting out of its sheep's "clothing" Stage 3: Mature Wolf ************************************* The Contract Stage 1: "The Contract" - A contract has been presented for you to sign. It is no coincidence that the terms are very difficult to read. Stage 2: "The Bargain" - You sign the contract... in blood of course! Stage 3: "Imp Familiar" - You've been granted the services of a Loyal (?) Imp! But at what price? *** ((And of course I have the photoshops of these that I can use to do alt colors and save a backgroundless .png of theses :3 ))

Voodoo Coon:It's basicaly a witch Doctor themed Racoon XD IDK! I love voodoo/witch doctor themes and yeah. Why not! It can totally be a red panda too I guess, or a cat, if you wish it recolored like something else! Got the psd saved. Stage 1: Stage 2:Stage 3: I was curious to see how the glow would look against the black of the cert. Yeah anyhow.
