Ah, so he'd at last found the place. Honestly, this place was like a maze. Having a struggling and wailing baby with him did little to help matters, either. By now Varlen was quickly descending indo a rather foul mood. Now if he could just get Bergerac in here, healed, and out, he would be completely fine with that. SOMETHING to quiet her. She was wearing his nerves down to nothingness.
And wearing on Varlen's nerves Bergerac was. She was still wet, sore, and itchy. SHE DIDN'T LIKE IT! And she was screaming and causing a general fuss, trying to scrath at her irritated skin, only to shriek in anger when Varlen swatted her hands away. She hated this!

((Sorry for the delay, been busy as hell sweatdrop ))
Jabir heard the baby screams comming from the hall. He was taking Maggie's place in the infirmary today, since she had to go restock her shop and wouldn't back until nightfall
He opened the door and saw Varden's struggle against a very fussy Bergerac
"Need assistance?", he said as his long neck appeared way before his body

"If you would be so kind," Varlen responded almost automatically, barely giving the tall mishap a glance. He was becoming rather used to the strange assortment of beings here, and was rather glad someone was here to help with the uncontrollable Bergerac. "She seems to be having some sort of skin problem, and nothing I've doen so far has helped..."
Oooh. Bergerac almost forgot her problems as she saw Jabir. He looked funny! She liked it. She gave Jabir an intensely interested look while stille trying to scrath at a spot on her leg. Her hand was naturally swatted away by Varlen, and she screeched up at him again in protest.

Varlen gave a small nod of thanks as he stepped inside, obsidian-hued hands still holding th squirming baby tightly. "I've done everything I can think of," he replied. "Healing spells, baths with hypo-allergenic soap, aloe, skin creme... most everything that's come to mind. Perhaps it's allergies of some sort?" he asked, frowning up at Jabir.

He placed both hands on her, one on the cheek and the other on the belly, and focused

Bergerac's thrashings died down as Jabir placed his hands on her. The babe didn't know exactly what he was doing, but curiosity had caused her to go quiet and watch him. "Ee?" she asked curiously, looking between Jabir and Varlen for some explanation.

He didn't payed much attention to Bergerac's question, trying to figure out what was wrong hith her. It took some time until he finally opened his eyes again and removed his hands
"I think it's her aging skin. It's having trouble renovating itself when her organism tells it to act in the opposite way"

Varlen frowned, noddling slowly. "I see. So what should be done about it?"
He knew of these sorts of things that could come about with magic, of course, but had little actual knowledge of how to handle such situations. Evocation and necromancy were his specialties, not curing and healing.

Jabir sat back, pondering. He knew a couple of techniques, but it often involved some pain in the process. Bergerac was too young for that
"She must shed the dead skin that's for sure, but we must give her something to prevent future occurences... or at least make them more natural"

Varlen gave a contemplative frown, though he nodded in understanding as to what the Mishap had said. "Sounds... easy enough. What exactly would we have to do, though?"
Bergerac had gone quiet, listening in on the conversation. She wasn't quite sure what exactly was going on, but she was smart enough to piece together that they were speaking about her. Was it bad, though? She had a hard time knowing...

Jabir got up and made his way to the closet. He wasn't sure if Maggie had something for this particular case, but it was better to be sure
"I don't know about the skin shedding, the way I do this are too painful to use on anyone. Perhaps scratching it off or force it to shed all at once, like a snake skin"
"But I think Maggie has something for the future occurences, a lotion of sorts. If I just could find it... it has to be here somewhere"

Varlen followed Jabir, keeping a respectable distance from the Mishap. "All right. But what of her skin now? The way things are currently going is causing her pain and me a headache. I don't have any magic of that sort in my lab..."

He finally found the lotion, partially hidden by other bottles
