She was part of a pride. She hadn't thought that would be possible. She'd be a rogue for so long, wandering on her own and missing her home, she didn't think she would fit in anywhere again, but here she was. She had a pride, and a clan, and a...friend? Maybe. The ceremony to welcome new members had allowed her to meet one of the new clan members, and gave her someone to talk to, though she did not know him well. He seemed nice. So at least she was not completely alone.
Tikandari had decided to explore a little of her new 'home', and began to walk. Unfortunately, she was not aware of her home-lands exact directions, and so she soon found herself out of place and feeling...lost. She was fairly sure she wasn't completely lost, as she was still within the pridal lands - she thought she was, at least - but she did not know the way back to her clan, nor to the den she had been given.
She shook her head. "Idla*!" She muttered to herself. "You're mukamukanendi* now!" She firmed her shoulders. She glanced up, trying to spot familiar landmarks, but none of the landmarks were familiar.
*Idla - Young One / Inexpereinced. - She uses it as an insult to herself. *Mukamukanendi - Isolated / Solitary. I.e. Lost.

The young chocolate and toffee coloured male strutted along like he knew everything, like the world was his oyster, which, lets face it, it more or less was. He had been born in to the earth clan but with his sprout to adolescence and the recent festival the black maned male had taken it upon himself to explore. He wanted to know more about the clans, more about where they lived in comparison to where he lived, he wanted to know the differences, the nuances, the landscape, the earth they lived on. Basically everything.
Of course all great explorers had to get a little lost, but he could see the position of the sun and of course, being completely awesome, he knew that home was back in the other direction, so he could never be truly lost. At his heel a pale cream hare hopped. "Don't you think it's time to get out of the sun Awesome? It's getting very hot." She complained hopping forwards and taking a few steps in the shade that her companions shadow supplied. The young male chuckled lightly and opened his mouth to reply to her when he spotted the soft grey female. For a brief moment he stands dumb struck, he hadn't much experience in talking to girls outside of his family circle, but what had he to worry about? He was Awesome! "Lets go and say Hi Myrtus." He puffs out his chest and struts cockily, towards her, confident, head up, shoulders back. "Hey, how you doin'?" He grins.Myrtus rolls her eyes and laughs a bit. "Really Awesome, thats no way to greet someone." She smiles, amused by his off the cuff manner.

Caught up in trying to discover where, exactly, she was, Tikandari did not notice the approach of the younger male, busy eyeing the various scenes in hopes of remembering which way was home to her clan. At the sound of a foreign voice, her eyes quickly scanned her area, trying to spot where the noise had come from and soon spotted the adolescent who looked oh-so confident.
For a moment, she merely stared at him. "Hello," she greeted him, her voice lightly accented. She paused then, trying to figure out what he had said next. How you doin'? She knew How are you, as a greeting, or What are you doing, as a different greeting, but How you doin'? Colloquial language had always been a confusing notion to her. Deciding that he must have been asking 'what' you doin', rather then 'how', she decided to answer. "I am standing here," she said, looking rather confused as to why he would ask such a thing, since she was quite obvious in her actions.
The sight of the bunny beside the male made her perk up, momentarily focusing her attention on the hare rather then the male. "Pingko!" She greeted the hare, calling a rabbit in her native tongue. "Your pelt is so pretty, reminds me of precious rocks and sand," she mused stumbling a little over some words, like 'rocks' and 'sand' which she did not use often in her daily conversation, giving the hare a smile. Her coat was so lovely! Tikandari was a little jealous of the pretty shades, but she quite liked her coat too, so it was alright.

The chocolate brown male raised a brow feeling a little confused himself by her answer. Of course she was standing there, that wasn't what he asked. He opened his mouth and closed it again momentarily stumped as to what to ask her. He had never felt stumped before, if anything 'stumped' wasn't in his vocabulary. Of course now that he was in fact thoroughly stumped, he didn't know how to counter act it.
Myrtus flickered her little fluffy tail as she looked between the lions. "Myrtus actually." She states rather simply giving a very swift flick of a bow to the lioness. "Uh, and thank you, sand and rocks is a good way to describe it, I suppose." one ear flickers a little uncomfortably under the scrutiny of the large lioness. Usually she was mostly ignored by other lions, except for Manipi but he had been her companion for a long time. It made a difference knowing someone was going to say 'hi' and being surprised by someone saying 'hi'.
Manipi finally opened his mouth to find words again. "Uh, I meant how are you, you look, lost?" He tilted his head a little, he hoped he got his meaning across this time, he'd really never felt at a loss in a greeting before. Still, his confidence couldn't be knocked so easily so he puffed out his chest once again. "I can help, if you wish it." He grins broadly trying to show that he was still in control, still confident, still awesome.

Tikandari smiled at the strange hare, delighted that it was conversing with her. She had never had much interaction with prey animals, toher then eating them, but this one did not seem to be kept for eating. Perhaps she was a companion? That would make sense. "Myrtus," she repeated quietly, almost shyly as she was trying to form the correct sounds, so as not to ruin the females name with her dialogue skills. "I am Tikandari and you are welcome, Myrtus" she said to the hare, nodding her head with another smile. Well, the hare had volunteered her own name, so Tikandari knew she should do the same.
When the male began to speak again, she glanced back to him, tilting her head as she listened to him. Oh. Well, now she felt silly. She had misunderstood him, and now she had to admit she was lost to him as well. She shifted on her feet, a slightly embarrassed look on her face. "Lost? Ne, I am," she agreed, nodding her head. "I wandered too far, I think. Do you know the Wolf clan?" Wolf. Such an odd word, she thought inwardly, though she was finding it easier to say now.

The little hare fidgeted a bit her ears twitching. She did find it ever so confusing that she was being addressed by the lioness. Still, at least she wasn't getting aten which made a difference int he feeling of the conversation even if she seemed confused. Cleating her throat she leans on Manipi, she wasn't sure if he did know where the Wolf clan was but she didn't doubt that ehr friend could find it, he had something about him that always made things easy.
Licking his lips the deep chocolate brown male looked thoughtful. "Well i don't know exactly but my dad told me the general direction of all of the clans so I could find them if i needed to." He smiles proudly, he always asked lots of questions, that was the lion he was, he asked questiones, got them answered stored them and made them a part of his knowledge. Of course a lot of his knowledge was also some sort of crazy luck and an intense belief in himself.
"Come, I'll get you home." He grins a roguish, possibly over friendly smile accompanied by a wink. If he couldn't help a damsel in distress what could he do? Though, maybe she wasn't so much distressed as she was just a bit lost...hmm It didn't matter, he would get her back to her tribe and who knew maybe she would tell him things though he had a slightly sinking feeling that she didn't completely speak the same language as he did, which in its self was unnerving, he didn't even know there were other languages in the world.
Meh who cared! He was awesome enough to bridge the gap, and maybe this pretty lady would be his first female friend, he didn't have any lady friends after all, except for Myrtus and she didn't really count, she was his best buddy after all.
The pale hare jumps to her paws and hops between the chocolate brown lions legs casually. "You sure you know where you're going Awesome?" She smiles a crooked curious smile. He was too confident sometimes but that she knew was a part of his charm.
Manipi grins. "Course Myrtus, my pops told me the direction we'll cross in to the wolf clan in no time."

Tikandari practically beamed when he assured her that he could find his way home. So he must be born in the pride, if his father had told him the ways to all the clans, she thought to herself, curious, but did not ask. Perhaps it was rude to ask? She was merely a new member herself. She was rather fascinated by his tattoos though, and stared at her unmarked pelt for a moment, before shaking her head, and returning her gaze to the male and his companion.
"Thank you," she said earnestly. Going for a walk, she perhaps should have taken someone with her instead of running off alone and getting herself hopelessly lost.
She did not hear the hare address him, focused instead on glancing around, as if trying to find her own way home but still she could not recognize where she was.
"What clan is yours?" She asked the male, frankly curious and unable to hold back. Perhaps it was rude, but really, she wanted to know. Perhaps he could point her to it, so she might wander that way and actually know where she was some day. She liked the idea of clans. It made the pride seem smaller, and more personal, with little clans like 'families' rather then a huge pride which you belong to no one.

Manipi glanced back at the silver gray female a crooked smile on his face."Earth clan of course." He chuckled and gave her an over friendly wink. "I was born here, but my folks they came from the rogue lands like you." He smiled, everyone born in the Ela'wadiyi possessed some tattoo or other and to be an adult with a blank canvas so to speak meant you were a rouge who had joined. "My mother and father don't have any tattoos either, it's weird." He chuckled and shakes his head. "Not that you're weird or anything it's just, yanno, i'm used to seeing them on everyone." He grins foolishly, he had really put his foot in that one. Why was he so bad at talking to this girl?
Myrtus laughed from between Manipis legs. "You're a real charmer Awesome." She snickers rolling her eyes. He pauses for a moment and races a few body lengths forward. "Theres a scent line here." She states standing up on her hind legs and letting her ears twitch and her eyes roam about alert, though less alert than if she had been alone.
"Of course there is Myrtus. We're a distance from the middle but I told you I knew the direction." He looks back at the silver lioness and beams "She has no faith in me sometimes" He winks playfully.

Tikandari listened to him curiously, and nodded her head - though she doubted his parents were 'like her' seeing as she was from a place that seemed so foreign to her, though they might have all come from the roguelands. "I am unused to tattoos," she said slowly, voice stumbling over 'tattoos' and peering at her own bland pelt. She seemed unaware of his struggle in talking to her. "I like yours though," she admitted. "Pretty."
She peered at Myrtus, not understanding why she told Manipi - or Awesome, as the hare called him - that he was a charmer. Was that a compliment? Or an insult? She shook her head, though her interest was piqued at the talk of directions. "Faith is tricky," she defended Myrtus, though she was pleased that the male knew the way. "Those quick to faith are quick to hurt." She peered ahead of them, though she gave him a slight, wobbly, smile. "I am glad my faith was not misplaced though."
