First of all, I do not wish to upset or offend anyone with this! So please, if you disagree, just say so and drop it. Nothing more is needed.
Now, I'll explain what's got me flustered.
With all the new wickeds running around, we've sort of lost the original idea. To me the main fun was the fact that we all were dressed alike. The only two exceptions were for the men, and the slight difference by means of accessories. I enjoyed that rule. I only wish we could return to that. I'm not saying that the new wickeds are not dressed appropriately, in fact I think for the most part they have done a good job of representing their fruits. But I wish we could all get back to the basic blacks...
Remember, this is just me sounding out. I miss our look alikeness. As well as the fact that us originals worked hard to establish this very wonderful look!

Thank you for voicing your frustrations. *hugs* I can see how it's spreading farther from the original ideas/looks/concepts. I also see how with so many various fruits/veggies, it would be hard to stay within the same basic idea and still make it representative of the fruit. There might be a way to accomplish staying closer to the original basic wicked look and still allow for some different accessories/colors to represent the fruit. I do think Kiwi would look good with a monacle, if there were orange socks with black stripes, that would be very tigersquashy, but I don't know if there are.
I didn't really notice all the differences until you'd said something. I think I just dismissed it as new avis still working on their final looks. I don't really mind either way, but I see where you're coming from. It would be cool if we all kind of matched, even with 20 of us.

Blueberry, I was actually thinking the same way. It's very difficult for us all to dress similaly but still maintain our individuality, but there are deffinitely ways to do so--Plum doesn't wear the hat, but wears roses instead, and Kiwi doesn't wear the net top if I remember correctlly. For example, TigerSquash can have ears and wear the tiger shirt under a black net top as her trademark. Or somethng. It's just, like you said, falling extremely far from the original concept that we were all following.

Although I certainly wasn't here at the conception of Wickedness, I can understand your frustration and disappointment in the various looks going on with us Newbies. I, for one, am still trying to get a feel for the site, make some gold, and fine-tune a look more in line with what you've all done - I think it's fantastic!! And although I can't really speak for the others, I'm not likely the only one in this awkward newbie position.
I have found my way to tektek, and came up with this:
... what do you think? Or is it still too 'colorful' for the guidelines you Originals set up? Perhaps reminding everyone what the guidelines were or the thoughts behind them may help?

I had no clue that we were all supposed to be dressing the same. I knew it was "the thing" but I guess I thought it was more of a council uniform. **shrugs** Personally, I don't have the gold to buy ANY outfits, let alone one that cost as much as the things the wickeds wear. I don't think it matters what my opinion is, I'm not anyone special here...but I thought the "Wicked Icon" with the pic of all of you was very sharp!! Perhaps anyone who can afford to buy that outfit can get put on the icon as a reward sort of thing??? My "dream" outfit is pretty close to what you guys wear anyway. I agree with you...it would be nice, but I also think it's not really needed. Some can't afford it, some just want to express their uniqueness.

Orange, I think what you have there is very good towards what we have.
Passion, I don't want you to get discouraged by this. We all start out with very little. But I promise you, we are all very good with being patient. Also, many of us are more than willing to lend/ help with obtaining things. In fact, Purkle has a closet of stuff that is there for anyone to borrow...

You know...I was thinking this the past few days...and have been trying to find a way to voice it...but I think you did a good job of saying what i was thinking.....
now...i know that the combos are hard to come up with especially if you are new to all this...now i have been thinking...the lunar is a main part of our outfits be it lunar cowl or cloak worn in any way....and to me...i personally like the moons on our outfits.....the tops hats have been a main for the female avis....but the black rose headbands are just fine with me...thank you plum for starting that wicked trend wink .....and the guys have those cute chess hats on and the black trench coats....thank you pomy for starting that trind with the boys wink ....i would love to keep these items incorporated into the avis...leaving the rest for adding the color of your veg or fruit....
i would like to keep the black going...the whole reason i made my avi was cause i wanted an all black look but with hints of the color my fruit is....i never in my mind would have thought that me creating the first wicked would grow to where it is now....i am glad that we are are getting new wickeds...and please you guys/gals dont get upset with me for saying all this...we just would like to keep our main theme going...ok sweatdrop

I'm not upset at all, and think it's great that you want to encourage the trend!! I just wish it weren't so slow a process - but OMG it's tough making gold here and just being new, sorting through the options and such! If all the time I recently spent here were spent on Neo instead, I'd have a good amount of NP!! (( wanders back to Neo to not "lose" any more NP ))

the pic in our siggys was recently made before all the new wickeds started coming in....it can be altered now without you haveing any clothes on thanks to tektek....it is just a matter of getting the pic to me(morphingbutterfly)...
everyone counts here at the couch...wicked or not...dont feel shy about saying anything to any of use..tell us your opinions....shoot...feel free to show us what you have for a dream avi...we all would love to see it wink ...and orange can tell you...that a certain purkle helped her to get her awesome looking outfit she has....we have helped each other out while being here on gaia...we purkles have to stick together wink
now as for council of the wickeds...there isnt...unless you count blackberry and strawberry cause we are the twins who started it all...that makes us the oldest i guess...lol...we are big sisters to the rest of the wickeds 3nodding

I was kind of thinking along the same lines as fawN. That each new wicked was still in the process of making their avatars have the look they should have. I know for one when I made this wicked, I used every single gold I had on my main account almost got get my look done but I did it and have just now finally recovered all the gold I spent.

*ps: once my secret identity is discovered, I'll lose the mask and be all the closer to a 'more uniformed' Wicked! wink
