 Frost was determined to make everything perfect for his mate. He knew that even though they decided to wait, Rave was really hoping to have babies soon. What this meant to Frost was that he was going to have to fortify the den so that nothing ill could befall his future children, also he wanted Rave to feel more at home and allow her some liberties on decorating the den.
First off, he figured that babies were clumsy and living on top of a mountain was bad. The Kits could easily fall off the side and be lost forever, and Rave would be heart broken. No that would not do. He had moved their home lower down the mountain, that way the children could go out and play in the grass. Kids liked that right? He sighed. What the heck did he know about children? He never acted like one even when he was a kit.

Rave chuckled a bit at her mates action, but she loved him more for them. They had come to a cave lower to the base of the mountain, for the kits sake. She didn't mind. It was a little closer to home and, if they wanted to they could always return higher up. They were determined to make it safe, at least a bit safe. Rave was making a make shift holding area in the back of the cave, somewhere to keep the kits while they slept. It was a little small but the rocks around them would hopefully keep them in place. But Rave had a feeling they would learn to climb over the rocks.

He looked over at his mate and smiled. She was making the bedding area for the kits. It was so like her. She tried to act like she wouldn't be maternal but it was obvious that she was. Chuckling softly, he walked up behind her and nuzzled her neck. She was so cute, he couldn't possibly love her any more then he already did.
"I said you could do anything to the cave....that didn't limit you to the babies area.....Don't you want to do something for you?"

Rave blushed slightly from her mate's touch. "Anything?" Rave looked around the blandness of the cave. She really couldn't think of anything she wanted. She was mostly preparing for the kits, which may or may not come soon. She really couldn't think of anything because she already knew she had all she wanted. "What about you?" Rave licked her mates cheek wondering if he wanted anything special in their new home... Besides herself that is.

Frost looked around the cave then back at her. "I have everything I need already..." He smiled at her, and nuzzled her neck. "What more can I ask for....?" He sat down and examined the bed for the kits, "We need more cotton.....Babie's like...soft right?" He looked at his mate, his cheeks slightly pink. Talking about kits made his heart race, from excitement or fear he wasn't sure.

Rave was laughing hard on the inside, but only chuckled outwardly at her mate. It was different to see the light pink on his cheeks, but she loved seeing it. "Cotton?" Rave kinda knew what that was, but she knew it didn't grow near here. She didn't even knew where it could be! "Yeah... They do like soft. But where are we going to find cotton at?" Raves tail flicked and pondered where they could get the fluffy white stuff.

"Well....I.....I don't know....." He looked at Rave, then looked toward the entrance to the cave. "I could go exploring....Bring back some cotton and....Other stuff that I find...," he looked at his mate, "would you want to come with me?" HE smiled at her. It had been a long time since his mate had gone flying with him.

Rave looked over at Frost. A little scavenger hunt sounded fun. Better yet it would give them a chance to fly off for awhile, get their mind off of some things. "Let's go together." Rave smiled and nuzzled her mate. Then stepped out and stretched out her wings. They ached from abuse from not fly as much as she used to. Her flames liked the sides of her wings and launched into the air, leaving a small patch of flames from the area she took off. She flapped her wings a few times and called down to Frost. "You coming?"

"Yeah!" He chuckled as he watched her mate. Obviously had been a stupid question. She was aching to fly as much as he was. They had spent too much time in the cave, wrapped up in each other. It was time that they started hunting and flying again. They were going to have to teach their kits how to fly, and they couldn't do that if they were rusty.
He walked to the edge of the cave and spread out his wings, shaking them lightly first. Then he tok a running start and blasted into the sky, passing his mate with a smirk on his face, "Coming slow poke!" He flapped his wings rapidly.

Rave laughed. "I see how it is!" Rave gave a powerful flap of her wings and darted through the air catching up to Frost. She looked up and a cloud was passing by. She flew up into it and hid from Frost, trying hard not to giggle. She was planning on a little sneak attack. Frost would never expect it. Now to just wait. Rave quietly soared within the cloud.

"Hm?" He looked ack and didn't see Rave at all. What was his mate up to now, he chuckled. She must he hiding somewhere. But two could play this game. He smirked and flapped his wings harder, making sure to keep his ear trained on his surroundings. He wasn't an easy Daeva to sneak up on.
He flew around a mountain peak then swooped down, did a barrel roll then pulled back up into the clouds.

Rave saw Frost do a barrel roll and shoot back into the clouds. She can see him ahead of her. She snuck up on him and lightly bit on the end of his tail then shot upwards far above him into a different could, laughing as she did. She stifled her laughter and waited in silence. Thank Deities it was a cloudy day out.

"Ah! You little tease...." He chuckled and rolled out of the clouds and flew higher into the air as he tried to spot her through the clouds. Only that of course failed because, like he should have known, it was extremely hard to see through clouds. "Hmmmm...." He made a determined face and then lunged into the clouds and barreled into something hard. Laughing he bit his mate's neck, "Found you." He laughed.

"Ooof!" Frost had collided into Rave. She giggled and blushed as he bit her neck. "Are you sure about that?" Rave latched onto Frost and held tight. "Cause it seems like it is I who has you~" Rave kissed Frost and really didn't care that the were starting to fall from the combined weight and the lack of flapping wings. The wind was making her yellow hair fly in all crazy direction, but it was nice to have it out of her face for a change.

"mm!" He looked at her surprise, then leaned into the kiss and smirked wickedly. His little temptress of a mate was driving him insane. He pulled back form the kiss so that they wouldn't go crashing into the ground and end both of their lives. Laughing, he licked her cheek.
"You are reckless love..." He nuzzled her neck, "More focusing on the job at hand....less on attacking each other."
