I'm sorry, but those names are just stupid. They named a pokemon "Haxorus". They might as well have just named it "Haxorz", I mean SERIOUSLY, come on! DX

wtf? they should have left the Japanese names... I mean really..... although I almost fell over when I saw Gurdurr and Pawniard. Gurdurr=hurrdurr=derp

The names for Timburr, Gurdurr, and Conkeldurr are derived from what they carry. Timber - Tim, Girder - Gur, and Concrete Column - Conkel. The dur could be because they're "jocks" and as such are stereotyped as stupid? My guess though.

I think the names are decent.. I mean what was I suppose to say when they named pikachu..pikachu!! Did I think that was wierd..idk. Do I think the new names of pokemon are wierd..idk!! But I ended up buying all the pokemon games regardless the names.. lol
