Vasilissa clumsily lunged at the tree before her, slashing her horn at it. She faltered at the last second and barely scratched it as she stumbled past, almost falling. She let out a deep breath, blowing the strands of hair that had fallen in front of her face and stood in front of the tree once more, ready to try again.
She'd been at this for hours now and she didn't seem to be getting any better which was frustrating her to no ends. She lunged again and tripped over her own feet, her horn stabbing into the tree and embedding itself in it.
Lissa pulled back, ready to try again. The only problem with that was that her horn didn't want to cooperate. She pulled as hard as she could but it wouldn't budge.
Sighed she slumped against the tree. "I'm hopeless. The one time I actually damage is accidentally and I get stuck." She wanted to cry but she held it in. "Now I'll just wait for the skinwalkers and kalonas to come and eat me."

Emille walked besides her daughter, taking deep breaths and trying to lower he heart rate. She looked over her daughter and smiled; Emille could not be more proud of her daughter. They had been sparring each other earlier in the day. Emille had seen that Louvia had a fighting spirit when she was just a foal and started teaching her early on. It was easy to say now that the mentee was now superior in strength to the mentor.
She cracked a smile at her daughter. "Not going to start rubbing in your mother's face that you're better now, are you?"
Louvia was a playful tease. She loved to mess with people, but would never seriously harm them. Sure, possibly some emotional damage, but hey, she'd make up for it somehow. Louvia's ears twitched as her cat-like hearing picked up some thud sounds. Without saying anything, she followed the sound, knowing that her mother would be right behind her.
She saw a purple and pink mare near some tree... Apparently hitting it with her horn. None the less, it looked kind of ridiculous. Louvia looked over to see her mom nod in agreement as the approached the mare.
"What exactly are you trying to do, Miss?"

Vasilissa heard hooves approaching behind her and she tried to manouver herself so she could at least see who was going to kill her. She was preparing herself to see a snarling kalona or skinwalker, but instead she saw two mares - similar in appearance - carrying lances.
"Well," Lissa started, as she braced herself against the tree, pulling with all her might. Her horn finally pulled itself free from the damned thing and she stumbled backwards a bit before she regained her stance. "I was slaying this tree here, but it seemed to get the better of me."
She sighed, her shoulders sagging in defeat. "If you're going to eat me at least be quick about it. If not, let me get back to my training. You can laugh at me later."
Pursing her lips, Lissa frowned at herself. She was being rude - not because she wanted to but because she was exhausted and beginning to feel useless and pathetic. These mares had done nothing to her, so far, but she decided to wait a bit before apologizing. Why apologize to someone that was going to possibly eat you?

(( Note; I've decided I'm only going to make dialogue of the two different colors XD seems to work easier that way... ))
Louvia giggled as she saw the mare have trouble pulling her horn out. "Vivi... That was definitely not very polite!" Emille looked over at her daughter and gave her a slight frown. It was kind of... amusing to see, but Emille didn't see how it was... a laughing sight.
However, when the young mare mentioned them eating her, Emille couldn't help but let out a giggle. "You were saying, Mother?" Louvia stuck out her tongue at her mother as her mother was slightly flushed. They had a mutual agreement that this young one was quite the personality.
"Dear, we do not eat others," Emille told the pink mare with a chuckle. "I guess you can say my daughter could eat you, but not this one. My other daughter has sharper teeth than this one." Emille chuckled again.
Louvia stepped up besides her mother and talked to the mare herself. "You're small, like us. It seems to me that you are trying to use too much strength for your size. It's best off to attack with speed when you're smaller than most. Right Mother?
Emille nodded in agreement with her daughter. "You won't do much damage to a larger stallion if you're attacking the way you are. They'd get you down on the floor in a heartbeat."

Lissa straightened herself, head tilting slightly to the side as she looked at the women before her. They.. knew about fighting and were giving her advice. Maybe.. No, maybe not. She shouldn't show weakness - her pride was bruised enough. On the plus side, Lissa was pretty sure they weren't going to eat her which brightened her mood a little bit.
She cleared her throat. "I'm sorry for being so rude. It's been a very long day." She bowed her head lightly. "My name is Vasilissa."
Raising herself up she looked at the mares before her again, assessing the situation. Speed? That was the key? Lissa was pretty fast and she was lacking strength. She was a unicorn, what use did she have for strength? Maybe.. Maybe they could teach her how to fight.
