Every synagouge is different. How much they let you do, the minimum you can do, which things you can do. I'd like to know what everyone did for their Bar/Bat Mitzvahs.
As for me, I led a few prayers Friday night. (I'd have led more, but they didn't let us at my synagouge).
On Saturday morning, I led Shacharit, read from the Torah for my Aliyah, and read half the Haftorah portion.
I would have done more, but I was forced to share my Bat Mitzvah date. At that point in time, I could have led the Musaf as well, but they didn't let me so I didn't completely outshine the person I was sharing my bat mitzvah with who didn't... want to do much.
So, what did you do?

well mine was rather strange, as I had a b'nai mitzvah with my twin brother. However, we were kinda competitive, so we each had our own full torah and haftorah portion, and I'm proud to say I learned mine a lot faster then him 3nodding xd
Anyway, I think we ended up doing a little more then we were supposed to, but it worked out well as we did our speech together, too. We led the whole Shacharit, read Torah and Haftorah, etc. We got to do a bit on Friday, but like yours, they didn't really let us do very much.
Umm....I think that's about it, actually. sweatdrop

ZonkotheSane all that stuffs just formality. doesn't really matter. Zonko, it doesn't matter if it's just formality. I'm curious, and I know it has no importance to the fact of becoming Bar/Bat Mitzvah, but, that doesn't mean it doesn't MATTER in other ways.

Um... Yeah. I shared mine with my twin brother. We split up friday night, and I led Havdalla the week before, and we split up saturday morning. It was a long Haftora, so we each did half, and we each read a section of torah. (So did my sister's now-ex boyfriend, my sister, and my cousin, and my uncle.) I wanted to lead musaf, but girls aren't allowed to at my synogogue. I'm told we're completely backwards for the movement.

I had to do most of the service both nights. And I had stuff added onto my haftarah portion because I was really good at reading hebrew and I needed more to practice. So I did my already long torah portion and my whole hatarah portion which was like two pages long. And almost every other prayer we have to do.

My bat mitzvah... God. I did everything but P'sukei. Kabbalat Shabbat, Ma'ariv, Shacharit, Torah Service, all seven Aliyot and Maftir, the Haftarah, and Musaf. Plus I learned weekday and led it Monday and Thursday before, and Hallel, because Monday was Rosh Chodesh.

It's important personally, and sometimes it's nice to share things that are personally important. And my portion was V'etchanan. Shema, AND the repitition of the 10 commandments. Easy d'var.

Well, personally, I led services Friday night, as well as Saturday morning. I think I did everything, save for the alliahs, but I'm just over involved like that.
On a slightly unrelated topic, did anyone else find themselves reciting their prayers or portions they were practicing at the oddest time? I would be playing hockey as a goalie, and as I would see the opposing team start to head towards me, I would snap into my 'attention' stance, and next thing I know, I'm muttering/chanting my Torah portion. Fun stuff.
