So close
Deimos looked out onto the lake from the shore. The Black Dawn was docked nearby. He was getting impatient. The water was still icy, and cold.. He stared out at it angrily. Not only did it prevent him from sailing, it rather harshly reminded him of his inability to swim. "Stupid lake.." He said, pickign up a pebble from the shore and tossing it out onto the waters.

After being rejected by Malachi and apologizing to Rabid for whatever he may have accidentally done to offend Ike, Riyu decided now was the time to go venture this strange world a little more. Somehow, he ended up finding his way towards the lake. Not too far ahead he noticed a small figure staring out at the lake. "Hm, I wonder who that is," he murmured to himself as he drew closer to greet this new person.

Deimos had crouched down, picking up another pebble hat he was about to toss when he heard Riyu behind him. He spun around, a bit on edge, ready to toss the rock, even though it was simply because he was in a foul mood today. "Who are you.." Deimos grumbled, letting his arm fall, the pebble still in his grasp.

o-o;; ^^;; "Ehhh, heh...I'm just a sight-seer," he said while rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. It seemed that he already created a bad impression and he had barely gotten himself acquainted with this child.

Deimos looked away from Riyu, back out onto the lake, ore more specifically, out onto his ship, the Black Dawn.. "You like what you're seeing?" He asked, in reference to his ship. He pewrsonally thought it was the most amazing thing in the world, but he wondered.. did everyont think the same as he?

He looked in the direction of Deimos' gaze and sees the ship. He smiled. ^^ "If it's the ship you're talking about, I like it."

Right answer... "It's mine you know.." He said, tossing the pebble out onto the lake. "I'm the Captain.." He said, picking up another one, this time it skiped once before sinking into the waters.

Getting tired of playing with rocks, he turned to face the newcomer. "Since Christmas.. Now that you knwo who I am.. maybe you can tell me why you're here.." He said. He was rather shifty around strangers.

He blinked and rubbed the back of his neck, slightly surprised at the sudden shift in conversation. "Well..." he started off slowly, still a bit embarassed at why he really was out here in the first place, but decided to tell the truth since he didn't see any immediate reason to lie anyways.
"Quite a funny story, actually...you see, I was kicked out of my house about a week ago-angered my father for playing around with a demon insignia he was supposed to award me...so, now I'm on exile for a couple weeks."
"And a shame of it too," he thought ,"If I could start all over again, I would've waited but hey...I was always the impatient one." @_@

Deimos bristled slightly. "You don't look like a demon.." He said, looking him up and down with curiousity. He.. hadn't really met to many demons, just Erebus and Iahlon.

He half-smiled nervously. Whenever he tried to explain this to people, they usually shunned him. Even his own family didn't exactly like what he was, save for his parents-when he didn't upset them, that was. "Well...it's a bit hard to explain. I'm a bit of a half breed...but I can go one way or another full out if I wanted to."
"Well, except for the demon part, since I don't have the charm yet for that from Father, so...I have restrictions in that area, but...this kid doesn't need to know that," Riyu reasoned within himself,"Let's just hope he doesn't mind the half-breed part to begin with."
He remembered the unfortunate incident with Ike. >>;;

"That explains it.." He said, turning away from Riyu. "Erebus told me you weren't full demon... I'm not either..." He said, though he knew that Riyu was part angelic and that put him slightly on edge..
(and just for the record, Erebus is a rather infamous master demon who is generally belived to be dead, but lives inside of Deimos as a result of the spell that created Dei.)
