Reid looked down at the farmhouse, having taken to the air in an attempt to find the Stables his Mu had talked about. He wasn't even sure why he'd agreed to take the class, but it seemed as good a distraction as anything else.
Chao has volunteered to escort him over but he'd turned her down in favor of exploring the outer region of the grounds; which had meant getting distracted by the orchard then the giant fruits then....
Hopefully he wasn't as late as he thought he was.
Sighting something that looked like his Mu's description of a stable he flew back down towards the ground, landing on the ground. Sighting a vaguely familar figure and a tall person who looked like he might be a teacher he walked in. "Allo? Is this the Magic Creature class?"

"'Lo Reid!" Chimed a voice a sweet as honey, flying behind him being followed by an enchanted red wagon was Aphrodite. Dressed warmlyin a long sleeve green shirt with the words " Love Me" encirled with a heart in white on her chest, long black and white stripped stockings, a grey skirt, and tiny little white sneakers.
She grinned smiling at him, and then waved to Salem. "Uncle SAAAAY-LUUUUUM!" She squeeled happily, she gasped clasping her hands over her mouth. She needed to learn that not everyone likes her very loud greetings. "Heh, sorry." She waved again, flying further into the creature stable. "Mama made you lunch, she said you'd forget."

The cat-man smiled as Reid landed, nodding slightly. "Yep. My name's Salem Von Montegue and I'm going to be your teacher. You can just call me Salem if you want. What should I call you?" He smiled down at him as he sifted through his bag, pulling out the class syllabus with the rules and permission form on it.
He remembered this little mishap from the first time he ever came to this place. It was last Halloween when the little guy was banging away at pots and pans with spoons. He's grown. Handing the paper over to the kid he started to explain some. "All the class rules are there along with all the stuff you'll need for class. Oh, and I need your guardian to sign at the bottom if you plan on coming to the next lesson. Don't lose it okay?"
Barely finishing what he had to say he flinched visably. Oww... He loved his sharp hearing and he loved little Aphrodite... But when the two came together it often had painful results. "Hey, Aph... It's alright?" He blinked at the lunch comment, blushing slightly. In his rush he sure enough had forgot. "Tell your Mommy thanks for me... Oh! Did you bring that paper I gave her to sign the other day?"

"Lo Dite!" Reid called back before looking up to the cat eared man, "Salem Vooon Mon-te-gue?" he repeated with a tilt of his head as he took the papers as they were offered to him.
Pausing he glanced them over then tucked them carefully into his satchel and nodded, "okay I won't lose it. And m'name's Reid. Nice to meet you Salem."

"Okies." She hovered in place for a moment, blinking at the question whether or not her mother had signed the slip. "Yeah, she left it on your desk." She grinned a bit, flying she sat on the black handle of the red wagon, that rest against the side. "I got all my supplies and my lunch and Al.. He wanted to come too. Bax wouldn't let me take Al to magic class said he was a dis-track-shun, but I don't know why he'd be a dis-track-shun... so I brought him anyway since Mama said it was ok.. is it ok Salem?" She smiled as she climbed down the long pole inot the bucket of the wagon hugging her beloved friend.

"It's nice to meet you Reid." He laughed softly as he looked down at the tiny mishap. "Of course Al can stay. Now, it's about time to start class so I guess we should get this show on the road. Your fist lesson is inside the stable behind me. The problem is he's real big so he'd going to have to come out here for the lesson. His name is Gairbith and we've been friends for a very long time. Now he may be big, but I promise he won't hurt you so there's no reason to be afraid. Alright Gairbith! I'm letting you out now! Sorry to keep you waiting, buddy." As he said the last of it he opened up the doors.
What was waiting inside was nothing short of colossal. Gairbith slowly lumbered out of the barn, uttering a deep groan of relief as he got outside. He hadn't been in the barn for very long, but he had needed to curl up very tightly to fit and even then had been left with no room to move. The old dragon was littered with scars just like his rider. The most notable one being a vertical one over his left eye, leaving it sightless. He streached out his odd wings, long smooth tail the last thing to drift out of the barn. His fore legs were a lot smaller then his hind legs and his neck was rather short for a dragon. He also had a large crest at the back of his head. His scales were mostly white with some purple areas at his arms, legs. neck, and waist. Lastly the area around his eyes was black, a glowing orange eye looking out from the right one.
"Everyone, this is Gairbith. Gairbith, this is Reid. You know Aphrodite." He smiled up at the old dragon as his old friend streached himself out.

"Wow..." Reid breathed then glowed warmly, recognizing Gairbith as a dragon. Like Shashi! Or the Mini Dragon Rebellion Subfaction! Just... bigger.
"Allo Gairbith!" he greeted with a enthusiastic flick of his wings and a wave.

"Hi Gairbith!" she waved as she flew up, still holding onto her dear freind, who she wiggled his plushie arm to make him wave hello as well. She stared up at Gairbith, he was always huge and always overwhelming to see. He sometimes made her feel smaller than she already was.

Salem smiled as he watched everyone. Good, no one was scared. Despite the warning about Gairbith being friendly, his size alone was intimidating. "Gairbith is our first lesson because I wanted to show you that there's always someone that doesn't fit in with the rules. Most dragons can be fairly easy to tell apart from one another because they have features to look for. In the case of Gairbith here, he's a Chaos Dragon. There's no two chaos dragons that look alike. In fact, chaos dragons even look different as they grow up. Anyway, we're going over the dragon basics today. Pull out something to write on so we can get started."
The large white and purple dragon sat himself down, patiently waiting to do as Salem instructed. He smiled warmly down at the children. He really loved kids. Despite his grough look he seemed very sweet. He nodded lightly in greeting to the two tiny children, speaking quietly... "Pleasure to meet you two." His voice was deep and had a rumble to it.

Reid sat down and pulled out a notebook and a pencil out of his satchel, though he was still staring up at Gairbeth. He was just so... big. And he was really very different looking than either Shashi or the faction.
At the dragon's greeting he smiled, liking the rumbling tone. Idly he drew a small, stickfigure like drawing of the large dragon in the corner of a new page of his notebook before looking over to Salem, "Salem, are there a lot of different kinds of dragons?"

Aphrodite was nearly blown away as Gairbith spoke, fixing her hair she sat down in the wagon with an open blank notebook infront of her, pencil tip in hand, earser in the other. "Ok! Ready!"

Deimos suddenly peered around the corner to the stables. "Lo.." He said as cassually as he could. He wouldn't admit it, but he had been heading to class and he had gotten very, very, very lost. After spending some time in the overgrown garden venting some of his frustration on some giany baby tomatoes, he heard Garbith emerge and finnally seemed to find his way. Thank goodness his sense of direction on the lake was much better..
