 It was a beautiful sunny morning, and Shiori was up early as was her custom. Smiling happily to herself as crept through the forest and perched herself on the other side of a tree and peeked around the edge. He was still there! Making a small 'meep' sound, she quickly hid herself behind the tree, then ran back off into the forest. For the last week or so there had been a beautiful green fox that had been occupying an abandoned den near her. He looked so deflated half the time that she wanted to do something to lift his spirits.
Hunting! She would go hunting for him. That was a brilliant idea. But she didn't know what he liked. She frowned suddenly. But everyone liked rabbit, yes? So that was what she would get. Twenty minutes later she snuck into his den with the rabbit around her neck. He was facing the entrance and looking at her strangely, so calmly she laid the rabbit in front of him, flashed him a friendly smile, then walked backward out the entrance to the den and laid outside it.

 Alibi sighed as he laid inside the den he had found. He had been too lazy to make his own or do anything else. Ever since things didn't work out with his previous mate he had done nothing but lay in his den. He really should get out... it wasn't like him to just lay around on a nice day.
"Hm?" His ears perked up when he heard the noise of someone. When he looked up he was rather surprised to see a pinkish purple fox in his den. He blushed as he watched her lay the rabbit down the leave. "Uhhhh...." He looked at the rabbit then the female as she ran off. "O~k..."

She poked her head in the den and watched him, frowning slightly. He wasn't eating the rabbit. Oh no! Maybe he didn't like them after all! She frowned, and thought of something else that she might be able to get for him. He looked so sad all the time....she wanted to do something that would lift his spirits a little. Turning away from the cave she ran out to her favorite meadow and found a bed of flowers, the same pink as her fur. Giggling she grabbed one of the stems and ran off back toward the cave.
She approached the den cautiously, then smiled at the male which almost caused her to lose the flower in her mouth. But she caught it at the last second and laid it in front of him by the rabbit.

He watched as she seemed worried about something. he then blinked when she turned and ran off. It was strange. This female had seemed to come out of no where. She would watch him and some times find things in his den that wasn't there before. Had she brought them? Eagerly he waited to see if she would come back and she did. This time she had a flower in her mouth. The flower was the same color as her fur and she dropped it in front of him.
He looked at the flower for a moment then back up at her. She seemed to be waiting for him to say something. What should he say? He had so many questions. Finally he picked up the flower in his mouth.
"Um... thank you." He smiled at her. "Whats your name? What are you doing here?" He tilted his head. "Were you the one brining me all those things?"

Shiori nodded her head vigorously at the male, she had been the one bringing things into his cave for him. But then she frowned slightly when he asked her name. She couldn't actually speak it to him, so she looked for an alternative way to tell him. Looking around the cave she spotted a twig and grabbed it with her mouth. Then she started to write her name in the dirt in front of him.
{Shiori} She scribed in the dirt, then looked at him and smiled.

He blushed slightly. This female had been brining him all these things into his cave.... but why? He then watched as she grabbed a twig. This confused him slightly. Why did she grab a twig? He then watched s she wrote her name in the dirt and everything clicked.
"Uh!" He looked up at her. "Shiori...?" He smiled. "Thats a cute name... I'm Alibi..." He finally understood. She couldn't talk. "So... You were the one brining me al this stuff?" He glanced at his cave that had a bunch of random things in his cave. He looked back at her tilting his head. "Why?" He had to admit it made him feel better but it was so random.

Quickly she nodded her head, smiling at him. "Mm...." She cocked her head to the side and looked at him puzzled. How could he ask that question? Wasn't it obvious? "Mm..." She looked over at the stick again then grabbed it. Of course her language skills were not so sophisticated and therefore she could write very few words.
{Happy.} She wrote into the ground, then pointed at him with the twig. Shiori dropped the twig then walked over and took the flower from him and placed it behind his ear. Then she backed away with a smile and laid down in front of him with a huge grin on his face. She was trying to make him happy. She pointed at him with a paw, then made a sad looking face. Shaking her head to indicate that she didn't like that he was so sad, she planted to huge smile on her face again and then pointed to all the things she had brought to his cave to make him smile.

Alibi watched as she picked up the stick again. He felt bad for asking that question. She couldn't speak and there for had to stick to writing things into the sand. He watched as she wrote the word happy.
"Happy..." He then looked at her surprised. She was... She was trying to make him happy? He then watched as she walked over and took the flower he had in his mouth and placed it behind his ear. She knew he was sad and was trying to make him happy. He couldn't help but give her a look for how hard she was trying which quickly turned into a soft caring smile. She had been trying so hard to make him smile. This female who had come from nowhere. "Please... um... come in if you like... my den goes further back..." He then glanced outside. "Its going to be dark soon... do you have a place to stay?" He felt like he should at least offer her a place to stay if she didn't have any where to go. As thanks for doing the things she did.

Shiori looked at him surprised. He smiled! She beamed as her tail wagged uncontrollably. She couldn't believe that she finally got the chance to see him smile. And it was such a charming one. Oh! She would strive to make him smile all the more, just to see that look on his face again. "Mm!" Shiori nodded her head fiercely, her body jumping up and down excitedly as she darted into the cave and went around in circles around him.
After that. she ran down deeper into the cave and looked around. She couldn't believe that he was actually inviting her into the cave! She didn't think he would ever do that. But now that he had, she couldn't help being wholly excited. In fact the backside of her body was wagging along with her tail, making her do this full body shimmy.

He couldn't help but chuckle when she beamed. It made him happy to see her smile. He then blinked when he watched her body jumping up and down because of how hard she was nodding her head.
"Um..." He gaver her a nervous face. sweatdrop She was likely to hurt herself if she continued to do what she did but none the less it made him laugh. He then watched as she ran a round in circles and into his cave. He chuckled as he followed. "Man... you get even more excited then I do some times." He passed by her. "Come this way... Its more padded down here a ways."

Shiori looked over at him fascinated by his cave. Usually she slept outside, or in a tree. She had never put the effort into making her own den. And she really liked the way that Alibi had constructed his. It suited his personality very well. Looking over at him, Shiori smiled. Then she ran over and nuzzled his neck affectionately. Since she couldn't tell him how much she appreciated his kindness, she had to show him.

Alibi tilted his head to the side as he watched her. She seemed to be investigating his den. Maybe it wasn't good enough for her... maybe she didn't like it.... He began to panic trying to think about what to do. It was probably too boyish for her or maybe it smelled. He looked away embarrest. Oh god he didn't want it to be that.
"I... Im sorry if its too... you know... not to you're liking. I can fix it... if you..." He was cut off by her running over and Nuzzling his neck. "Oh...." He blinked then smiled. "I guess that means yo like it."

Shiori nodded frantically, smiling and nuzzling his neck some more. Then she ran off into the den and grabbed something and started to drag it over to him. It was a soft piece of cotton. Then she went around and collected various herbs. After about fifteen minutes she skipped back over to him and beamed at her little project. She had made a bed big enough for the two of them to cuddle on. She really liked Alibi, and she wanted to prove to him that she could take care of him.
Even if she couldn't talk, she would be a good mate for him. Shiori smiled at him as her tail wagged, making her behind do the shimmy.

He chuckled as she nodded he head frantically. She was quite cute when she did that and he blushed when she started to nuzzle his neck more.
"I'm glad..." He smiled as he closed his eyes and nuzzled her back. He was quite amazed at how she acted around him. It had been a wile since he was able to be around a female. "Mm!" he eyes opened quickly when she had off. "Mm..." He blinked as he watched her. "What are you..." he watched at what she made. "Oh I see... you made a bed." he looked at it. "And a good one at that." he smiled at her. "Your quite a crafter."

Shiori nodded her head, then ran back over to him and nuzzled his neck. Then she nipped at the side of his neck and pulled, just enough to get his attention without hurting him. After that she ran over to the bed and walked around in circles before laying down on the bed. She gave him a look, then slid out of the bed and moved her head from him to the bed. Once she was finished motioning she ran out of that section of the cave to grab something from the first part.
Coming back a few minutes later she placed a leaf by the side of the bed that was filled with berries. Then once again she darted out of the room and began carrying in the rabbit from before. This time however she planted her butt on the ground and waited, looking at him expectantly.
