The Advert Contest (Round 2) Begins!
THE PRIZE
One semi-custom Book Child drawn traditionally! Originally I was going to do it digitally.
A semi-custom is a pet whose gender, book/story, and general look/feel you pick out. But you still won't know what the result will look like 100% until it's all grown up. So, you might say...
"Gender: female
Story: Alice in Wonderland
Look: I'd like something cheerful goth-loli... please use blues and pinks in her design, and roses."
But please don't use that one. @___@ Alice in Wonderland and all the associated characters are an upcoming event.
THE RULES
Please do not use mules in any way - do not refer your own mules, do not use mules (such as shop mules) to refer other people, or anything else having to do with mules. No mules, please.
A referral counts when your friend has posted in the main thread. No asking for referrals, telling your friends about the shop and responding to a question about it is fine, but asking them for a referral or hint that they should do so will be considered breaking this rule.
More rules will be added or clarified as need be. If you wish to do something or want clarification PM the mule or ask in thread. If you however take action before we have a chance to answer and we consider it rule breaking any referrals gained are subject to removal.
THE PROCEDURE
The advertising contest begins on the 26th of January and ends on March 1st at 11:59 PM Gaia time (that's PST). Any referrals posted after midnight (in other words, received on the 2nd) cannot be counted.
There will be no updated scoreboard this time around due to time restraints on the owner's part, what with school and all, and the even more recent development of internet problems... so it's up to you to keep track of your score, including referrals. If someone posts in the thread that you referred them you can add their name into your score posts. Here's an example!
[ your username here ] has been advertising for [ number ] days!
[ referred friend ], [ referred friend ], etc...
[ referred friend ], [ referred friend ], etc...
You can use whatever format you wish, though, just make sure it's easy to read. You may also use any format for your recruiting. In other words, there's no form for your friends to fill out and post in the thread. Just have them post that you referred them in any way YOU find easiest to keep track of.
Each day you advertise for the shop in your sig/posts is worth 1 point. Each person who posts that you referred them is worth 5 points. You don't have to calculate your total score each time you post, the shop mule will do that anyway at the very end.
At the end of the advertising contest all of the points will be converted to free raffle tickets. So in other words if you end up with 200 points at the end of the contest you'll have earned 200 tickets. You won't be able to choose your numbers, however. Participants will be assigned their ticket numbers based on when they started to post their scores. If you earn 200 tickets by the end of the advertising period and you were the first person to start advertising then you will be assigned ticket numbers 1 ~ 200.
Please post your scores/day counter in this thread to help keep the main thread clean. THIS THREAD. But the people you refer will be posting in the main thread, since that's where the shop's banner link leads to. So make sure you keep up to date with the main thread so you don't miss any of your hard-earned points!
This post will be updated with names as more people join the contest so it's easy to keep track of what order the tickets will be given out in.
