Rosie didn't know how to do anything half heatedly, a trait, while inherited by her mother, had been multiplied with excessive amounts of joy and youth.
A simple task, like going to the store to pick up some things for her cousin's football team party were turned into exciting adventures, of people she couldn't wait to meet, and friendly familiar faces she couldn't wait to greet.
Wherever Rosie went, she never alone anymore, the Pikachu, as happy as its trainer sat on her shoulder, the lightly colors girl with pink heart shaped cheeks, trying to sing along with Rosie.
Trotting alongside the girl's white boots, a stunning blue striped Vaporeon with bright golden eyes.
and behind Rosie, a tall, mellow and kind looking Meganium, with a scarf wrapped snugly around her long neck.
In her smiling mouth she held a basket, carefully placed into the basket was a beautiful green egg, the Meganium was careful not to Jar it.

Nyx was shopping. This was a rare thing, as the base normally had everything they could need. But a few things had happened recently, and the Rocket Scientist needed to shop. It was her day off, of course, and she was not clad in her uniform but rather a pair of skinny jeans with a pink button up shirt and her fluffy white hair pulled back into a poofy pony tail.
The scientist was being assisted by a Charmeleon, who seemed to be a new addition to the woman's team, since she kept having to tell it to follow her, stop chewing on that, put that back, don't look at that person like that, get back here, stand still, etc. If it weren't for the fact that 'bonding time' was imperative for grooming a loyal pokemon, she wouldn't have even bothered. Eventually, she swore, Tazieff would behave. Hopefully before she became full grown.
The white haired woman was browsing the baking aisle when she noticed a rather peppy looking young girl with an army of pokemon surrounding her. Did she really need that many pokemon out at once? "Hm..." The Charmeleon rumbled and chewed on a box of confectioner's sugar while her trainer wasn't paying attention.

"Good afternoon Mr. George" the peppy young girl greeted the shop owner, after spotting him stocking a shelf of baking flour.
The man looked up right as the girl hurried over to stop next to him, leaning down a little.
the Meganium remained behind, looking through the display of icings and colored gels for decorating, using the vines that came out from under the flower on her neck to pick a couple off the shelf, and place it in the basket with the pokemon egg.
"Oh, young Ms Ewell, its good to see you again." the elderly man said, with pleasant surprise. "How is your pokemon journey going?"
"its going great!" she replied, sounding excite that he asked. "I got another new pokemon on my team, and she fits in really well, I'm going to start training with her this week."
Mr. George followed the girls gesture toward the Meganium, and smiled softly, happy for the young lady.
"She certainly looks like she fits in with your team" he chuckled, reaching out to scratch the Pikachu's ear.
Rosie giggled, folding her hands in front of her "Thank you so much" he paused "Oh, Mr, George. I'm in charge of Evan's foot ball team's play off celebration cake. do you have any football shaped pans?"
The man looked thoughtful for a moment, before pushing himself up and walking over to another shelf.
"ah, here you go." pulling one of the pans out, he walked back over, greeted with a pleased noise from Rosie, making the man laugh.
"you be sure to cheer for your cousin's team for me, this collage season will put the city's team back on top"
"They will do great Sir! Evan's the best player in all of Kodo!" She said this with extreme confidence, nothing could make this statement false!
With a polite farewell, Rosie turned to hurry back over to Hattie and Vahy'n,
Though, she should have looked before she went running off. Rosie felt her body hit something and she bounced back with a startled "oof!" as she ran right into Nyx
Kiss Kiss fell off her shoulder, taken by surprised, but managed to land on her feet. Blinking and looking around at what just happened.

Nyx shrugged, unconcerned about the chipper young lass, and went back to browsing spring form pans, until she looked over and noticed what her companion was up to. "Tazieff, will you stop- GHA!" Nyx stumbled and fell over as she was bowled over by someone, the Charmeleon by her heels scurried on all fours out of the way as fast as it could, its mouth still full of sugar box.
"Hey! Watch what you're doing!" Nyx growled and started to pick up her shopping basket and the various things that had, up until that moment, been inside of it.

Rosie gasped in horror when she realized what she had just done, knocking a person down!
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry Miss! I didn't look where I was going."
she moved, quickly helping gather the things she had knocked from the women's hands.
"I didn't hurt you did I?"
Kiss Kiss blinked before hopping forward with Rosie, picking up one of the smaller fallen items and holding it up over her head for Nyx, to help.
Rosie looked truly ashamed she had knocked someone over, cheeks flushed pink as she placed some of the items back into her cart.

Nyx grumbled and picked herself up off the floor. "... Not really." She rubbed her bottom and dusted it off. Tazieff stared at the goings on from a few feet away, gnawing away at the sugar box; It was likely Nyx was going to have to buy that.
"Just- What's the hurry?" She picked up her shopping basket and sighed. Nyx wasn't hurt, but being run into was never comfortable, and didn't exactly promote good mood.

Vahy'n blinked over at the Charmeleon who was seemingly having a good time chewing on a sugar box. she tilted her head slightly.
"Vaaa"
"I wanted to get home soon to start making a cake for my Cousin, but that wasn't an excuse for knocking you over." she felt absolutely horrible abut that.
"Here, if you want me to help you, I know where a lot of things are in this store, was there anything you needed to find?"
That wouldn't make up for what she did, but it was the least Rosie could do.

Nyx sighed and looked at her shopping list, "Heavy whipping cream... I didn't see it where I thought it should be." She was making some sort of cake, but that wasn't exactly obvious. Heavy whipping cream could be used in a variety of different foods.
Tazieff blinked right back at the Vaporeon and snarled a little, an instinctual reaction of a fire type to a water type, but the Charmeleon seemed more interested in trying to get into whatever was in the box. "Gwaa..."

Rosie tilted her head when the women asked for Heavy whipping cream. wondering for a second what she would be baking with that, and was not curious.
"I know where that is," she perked up though, turning, and heading down toward the back half of the wall.
She was gone for a shot time, before returning with a cartridge of heavy whipping cream.
"What are you going to make with that?" she asked curiously, placing it into the lady's cart.
Kiss' ears twitched slightly, looking around as she spotted the Charmeleon looking sourly at Vahy'n but otherwise happily chewing on a box of sugar.
Kiss Kiss loved to get attention from other pokemon, so she couldn't help but bounce over to her. pausing in front of Tazieff and holding a paw up with a happy "Pika!" in greeting.

"I'm baking a cake for someone." Nyx looked around and plucked a candy thermometer off of the shelf and into her basket. "With mousse." Whoever she was baking for was a very lucky person; Nyx was going all out with this cake. Piles of chocolate bars, decorative caps for icing and various colors of said icing, glitter-like sprinkles, among other things were lining her basket.
Tazieff lowered the box of sugar from her mouth and stared at the Pikachu for a moment before leaning over and giving the once over with her nose. The Charmeleon stood up straight and continued staring before turning around and grabbing a tube of icing off of one of the shelves and holding it out towards Kiss Kiss. "Chaa..."

Kiss Kiss made a little Pikachu giggle when the Charmeleon sniffed at her, leaning forward and puffing lightly at the other pokemon as well.
then Tazieff turned away from her for a moment, Kiss Kiss tilted her head, puzzled, blinking at the icing that Tazieff was handing out to her when she did turn back.
It didn't take long for Kiss Kiss to understand that her new friend was offering her a GIFT!
the Pikachu's eyes practically sparkled, smiling brightly "Chaaaa~"
reaching out to accept the tube, and hugging it.
Eyebrows arched in interest when the women told her, having never baked a cake like that before, or even heard of it "Ohhh, it sounds delicious, you must know a lot about baking" she finished, glancing down at all the wonderful things that the women was buying "Are you getting ready for a party?"

Tazieff nodded, pleased that her gift had been received well. Obviously, she was a master gift giver, never mind that the things she was giving away didn't belong to her. There were plenty of things in the store, like that thing there, which Tazieff grabbed. It was shiny, and shaped sort of like something that had to go on someone's head. The Charmeleon had grabbed a pie tin and was putting it on top of the Pikachu's head. Beautiful.
Nyx shrugged, "Yeah. It seems to be my hobby." She hadn't ever really thought about it, she just did it. Baking was what she did in her free time, what she liked to do, what she read about in her spare time, and what she spent a good bit of her money on. "No, not a party. A..." She paused, thinking about why exactly she was making this cake, "Thank you cake...? Yes. That's it!"

Kiss Kiss was puzzled again when something was placed on her head, slicking her ears back.
"Chu?" she questioned, glancing up the best she could as the pie tin draped crookedly over her head.
Kiss Kiss once again giggled excitedly, smiling at Tazieff again.
With her new hat, and her tube of sweet! Kiss worked on the cap to open it, licking at some of the icing.
She got a dreamy look on her face when she got some of the sweet sugar
"Chaaa~" it was so delicious, so she held it out to offer Tezieff some.
A Cake for a party would be most common, but when Rosie heard that it was a thank you cake, a warm, joyous smile spread over her kind face.
Elated to hear that it was something more personal and sweet.
"It sounds like it will be the best thank you anyone could ever get!"
She LOVED it when people showed acts of kindness toward one another.
"would you mind if I asked what you are thanking them for?" she asked next with an excited innocence, as if from a child who was about to hear a wonderful story.

Tazieff leaned over and sniffed at the tube of colorful substance and gave it a tentative lick. Whatever it was, it was delicious, much more so than her box of sugar, which tasted more like cardboard than sugar most of the time. "Chaa meleon." She tossed the box behind her shoulder and grabbed the tube for herself.
Nyx's cheeks flushed when Rosie asked what she was thanking the person (Mau) for, she scratched her head sheepishly. "Uh... Mm... A present." That was right, but not all. "They got me something nice for the holidays, and I hadn't thought to get them anything... So I'm baking them a cake."

"Pi!" Kis sKiss was startled when the Charmeleon suddenly took the tube of icing from her, she did intend to share it, but she didn't want her new friend to eat all of it!
Kiss reacted with a loud "Pika!" voicing concern as she reached her two little paws out toward the tube of icing.
Rosie's face glowed when she saw the look on the woman's face, Rosie could tell that it was for someone really special!
"Ohh~, that person is really lucky" she said with a smile. "It will be a wonderful gift," she added with a confirming nod.
that was such a wonderful thing to hear, she loved it when people did nice things for one another.
When Kiss made a loud noise, Rosie glanced over, blinking before gasping "noo! Kiss, we didn't pay for that. oh no"
