((Please don't post here if you aren't serpentsong or myself, as this is a private rp between our pets.)) Freeziyana yawns, opening her ice blue eyes slowly against the light coming in through the vines draping over the doorway to her tree home. She wrinkles her nose slightly at the invading light, then sighs and crawls out of her bed, slowly running a wood comb through her long black hair before affixing the various vines and flowers that usually adorned her body. This was a daily ritual with her, although she honestly didn't see why she kept up a tidy appearance. Not like a prince charming would ever come galloping up on a noble steed to carry the likes of her away. Nobody wanted tree people, or so she'd grown to believe. Flicking her long tail a couple of times, she sighs and strolls out through the vine covered doorway of her home tree, petting the various vines on her way through the forest. She needed more supplies, she noted, and the only place to get them were in those crowded, dead feeling places the other races called towns. She shrugs slightly, then turns and starts heading for the nearest one, wings fluttering slightly as she walked. She very well could have flown there, but that wouldn't have been as much fun for her, and besides, you never knew when you might suddenly need to fly from an attack. She never could remember the names of these towns, but this one seemed in bad condition. Litter blew through the streets and the buildings just reeked of filth and decay. Wrinkling her nose slightly she continues on, very much aware of the various stares and glares her very presence seemed to cause and not really caring in the slightest. She turns a corner sharply and blinks, finding herself at the entrance of a rather dark looking alley.

A brand new day, another day in hell. He awoke in an alley, he did not recall having fallen asleep there. Such was his life, a series of events that blur together only to be forgotten in the void of pointless monotony. His dark fur was matted against his skin, the bright green patches permanently stained that color from the garbage and other such rotting matter that he found himself with. Could be worse. He could have been lost in the forest, drowning in the scent of wood and trees.
He dusted himself off, his head wings actually twitching as he looked around one large, metal dumpster, he seeing the silhouette of a being at the end of the alley.
It did not take a thought before he ducked behind the dumpster once more, the glowing green gell that managed to clean to his skin, dripping fro his paws and making a thin, glowing trail on the ground. 'Great...just great...why does it always have to be alive..? Maybe I can fix that..? Maybe it will be breakfast?' His mind darted about, his eyes narrowing as he looked under the garbage bin, watching the figure come closer.

Freeziyana frowns slightly, noticing what appears to be a very faint, glowing green trail further down the alley. Much as she disliked the way the alley looked, she continues on, gathering her magic to call on any vines that might be in the vicinity, just on the off chance that something attacked her down here. "Someone there? Look, I'm lost and just looking for a store, so if you could kindly point me in the right direction, I'll be out of your territory as fast as possible." She says in a neutral voice, one that offered no malice or intent to attack, more of a let bygones be bygones tone, but she was very prepared to use her magic to make vines ensnare anything should she be attacked.

His eyes lit up at the sound of the voice, a woman, excellent. That would make this all the more entertaining for him. He watched as the vines that clung the moss covered walls seemed to move, he certain he had to be seeing things. Perhaps his mind was further gone than he thought, vine surely did not move on their own.
He pawed the ground, his tail up in the air, moving back and forth as he blended into the shadows of the alley. He said nothing, but darted fro behind the trash, leaving a flurry of papers in his wake as he moved on all fours forward and behind a pile of bags. He growled, low, near feral, a hiss leaving his throat as he watched her. She wanted a shop? What made her think there was a shop in an alley?

Freeziyana stops as the sound of papers drifting in the wind reached her ears, the frown on her face wrinkling a bit more. Ears flicking slightly she takes a step back, her tail frizzing to twice it's normal size to show her dislike of the situation. She shakes her head, long hair flipping every which way before settling back to where it had been previously, then stomps a foot down, the vines that had been creeping closer rapidly dropping off the sides of the buildings to hang dangerously over head all along the alley. "Now look. I ask for nothing more than simple directions and I get nothing but shady behavior and a growl for my trouble? Well... Perhaps I shan't ask so... politely... again. Now I know you're still down here. So, you can either come to me willingly and give me directions, or.... my friends here can make things rather difficult for you." She shifts her tail the slightest bit, the vines once again starting their descent, twisting and curling tightly around anything that they touch that isn't the wall they creep along.

Volatile smirked, his eyes raising to see the vines above him, dancing like snakes in the air. He laughed and moved abit, staring over the top of the bags, only his eyes glowing in the dark, his body hidden in shadow. "Directions you want, directions to where..?" He laughed and watched the vines, one paw raising he swinging at the pesky things, the toxic tips of his claws melting through the vine, sending the dead end to the ground.
"You are out of place here..." He moved about the bags, knocking afew over with a push of his paw, he walking into the center of the alley, his tail swishing about behind him. "Plant lady get thrown out with yesterdays garbage?" He chuckled. "Couldn't imagine anyone tossing you away...unless...you upset some vegan's stomach.." He smirked, his lips curling into a devious grin, his sharp canine's catching light.

Freeziyana frowns as she feels the pain the vines feel at being melted, the hair on her tail raising up again as the other speaks and moves closer. Definitely male, and definitely dangerous. "As I said, directions to a shop, any shop that might have supplies I'm looking for." She says, doing her best to hide the small bit of fear she felt at this strange male's claws. The vines crept even closer at her fear, seeming ready to strike at any moment. Her anger flares up quickly at his insults, however. "What business is it of yours how I ended up here? If you must know, I came here on my own. Nobody threw me away. That would imply that there would have been somebody around TO throw me away." She snaps, ice blue eyes seeming to spark in her anger. "What about you? Stink up the place too badly for anyone to allow you to sleep under a roof? Instead you end up, literally, in a trash filled alley? Or do you just enjoy being surrounded by garbage?"

He could smell her fear in the air, see it in the set look on her face. She may have even been trying to hide it, ha! Good luck with that. He Watched each motion she took, listened to her words as his body swayed from side to side, almost like a serpent, or some boneless mass of shadow.
He did not take offense to her words, he cocking his head to the side, that large, toothy grin appearing on his face once more. "This is simply where I landed for night. walked and walked till I could see no more, this place is as good as any" He raised his hands and spun, almost like he was presenting his alley to her. "Only those that have never lived in such a place would judge it so...and only those that do not deal with others would judge me so..." he laughed. "Not a wonder...really.." He spat back at her and moved to lean against the wall.
"What sort of...supplies..does the wooden girl need...? Fertilizer to grow those snakey vines?" He laughed, the sound deep, with a sharp edge to it.

Freeziyana frowns once again, watching the baddie, she finally identified him as, as if he were a rather large snake coiled in her path. "So, you don't have a home of your own, or no one would take you in? Sleeping wherever you happen to fall is not... safe for anyone. Why anyone would choose that life is beyond me, unless you have a death wish.. And supplies would be food that I cannot as easily obtain in the forest due to either how it is grown or because it would involve slaughter, which I do not do unless in defense of myself or my hometree. As for not dealing with others... With how most races view my own, why should I wish to deal with any of you? You all act the same. Just because I live in the forest, with nature, like I am some goddess forsaken heathen that wouldn't dare to step foot into what you term 'civilized' lands. I've been threatened by your kind before, for simply walking into a town when I was younger and curiosity got the better of me. The fact that there are those out there, like you, who would dare to attack a CHILD, who offered no violence or malice, was only curious about the strangers she saw, would put anyone off of wanting to deal with your kind for very long. We Faelon are a peaceful race as long as we are and our trees are not threatened. Yet you others... Always, violence first. Never just observe and question."

He let out another of those sharp, deep laughs, he resting his head on the wall, his hair falling across one eye, his grin never leaving. "You assume my first actions towards you meant in malice..." He flicked his tongue against his lips, he chuckling to himself. "Though I suppose you would be the type to hardly trust...not that I am different. Never been one to delight in others...disgusting homebodies that do nothing but breed and make more mess for me to live on. Though of course..." He slid along the wall and moved toward her, he cocking his head to one side. "You would be one of those messy beings...creating garbage...even if you are a tree hugging naturalist.."
He kicked a metal can in font of him, the can rolling toward her. "You want food...the market is behind me...town central...though it does not open till noon...lunch rush...guess you are stuck...till the sun peaks.." He looked above him, the sky clouding over, the sun hardly near its peak.

She continues to watch him cautiously as he approached, actually thankful for once for the fall of hair on the left side of her face. Her hair hid a scar on that side, token of her encounter as a child with that incident she had spoken of, and always served to remind her of what happens if she trusts too easily. Flicking her tail once again, she frowns, shifting her position to a less threatening one, making the vines recede slightly from where they were at. "You mean by creating garbage, me coming here to get my supplies? Or are you speaking of something else entirely? Because aside from my food supplies, which I take care of the messes in my own way, not by dumping them off in some other creatures land, I have made no messes." She tilts her head slightly, watching him approach. "Noon..? Does nobody in this town get up any earlier then that?" She arches a brow, then sighs. "I suppose I'll have to either find something else to do until then or leave and look for a different town." Her eyes flick around for a moment before landing back on the male. "I'd ask what you think I should do, but you'd probably just tell me to either go crawl in a hole and die or tell me to go back to my tree with all my tree hugging friends." She murmurs, crossing her arms over her chest.

The male moved around her, he actually ducking down as he went to her side, careful that she did not reach out and hit him. He was a cautious creature, that was certain. "There are those awake...yes...I am awake am I not...? But what good is food if people are not hungry...?" He laughed and rounded her backside, his tail flicking and actually tapping her in passing. "As for mess...everyone makes messes...be them garbage, waste, fights and worthless use of life...I deal with all messes. My ears they ring with the sounds of fighting faes at night...I only pray I not fall asleep near a large living space."
He hissed and ran his nails along the side wall, the brick chipping away, leaving grooves. "I would not have told you to go and die, though the thought is there..." he laughed. "You are interesting, little woodfae...tree witch..." He laughed and moved in close to her, his face very near hers. "I could entertain myself with you till noon...it would not be hard."

Freeziyana raises the visible eyebrow up again as he moves in even closer, her eyes flicking to keep the males claws in sight. It was obvious she didn't trust him enough to let her guard down completely. "And just what is so interesting about me, Baddie, that you would wish to entertain yourself with my presence? My own kind even avoids me. They say that I bring their moods down by disagreeing with their extremely high hopes. Their high hopes are that all other races will turn to our culture and cover the world with trees and flowers. I tell them that when the other races have their own ideas of how they feel the world should look, it's never going to happen." She frowns again, slightly, then looks back up at the Baddie's face. "And just how would you entertain yourself with me, in any case? Aside from causing harm, death, or bringing eggs into the world, hrm?"

The baddie could not help but laugh, he falling back against the wall his paws at his sides, holding his ribs with his laughter. " you think that...." He turned his head to her one eye opening. "Oh yes silly woodfae I would bring eggs to this world with you no doubt...petrified and cold at stone." He rolled his eyes and pushed off the wall he looking her over. "No...I think you would simply be entertaining enough your words, your humor, making me laugh would be more than entertaining enough till noon." he watched her close. "Though...I suppose..." He darted down the alley he standing back by the dumpster where he started, he watching her. "...I should bring you to the bazaar...to say the very least...though do not expect me to follow you..." His eyes darted out into the streets beyond, the sun casting shadows over the buildings he shuddering. He knew he was not welcome there, not in the sun with them.

She snorts slightly and follows him, eyes flicking slightly. "From past experiences, that's all most men want of anything female. So, forgive me for thinking that. It's... hard to get past previous experiences, isn't it?" She raises an eyebrow once more. "Humor..? I'm not intending to be amusing, you know." She says somewhat sharply, tail snapping once behind her before curling up. "Bazaar...? Isn't that where they sell trinkets most normal people like to collect? I really have no interest in such a place, not by myself, at least." She murmurs, stopping a few feet away from him. "I wouldn't expect you to follow me. There's no way I'm going out in that chaos." She says, eyeing the busy bazaar. "I'd be more likely to get run over, kidnapped, or murdered out there than I am right here." She had an obvious dislike and mistrust of large groups. One fae, she could stand being around. But large groups? Not a chance.
